Great service, great food and drinks, and great live music. A must every time we go up!

Authentic local bar with a good bite and good local bands. This is your all American sort of bar with happy talkative crowd, American Classic Rock music and good beer. My place to go when I want to hear good music!

I love this place! Great draft beer, cocktails, and food! The pub has been my family’s go-to for drinks and dinner for many years whenever we travel up north during ski season because of the great food, laid back atmosphere, and convenient location. Personal favorites are the BBQ wings, their french onion soup, the chicken parm, or the steak marinade. The daily specials are always unique and tasty as well — never had a bad meal at The Parka!

Aged sirloin was excellent. Buffalo tenders were very good. They hustled to get us and our 3 yo seated quickly.

The food was very good, and the service was fast and friendly. It was a nice gesture when the manager or owner came by the table to see if we enjoyed our meal, and then offered to turn up the heat if we were cold. I will definitely come back here again!

I loved it here! We did the salad bar and had a steak. The salad bar was a buffet and everything was great. The steak was amazing and the double baked potato was delicious. I was already full from the salad bar but the food was so delicious I kept eating. I can’t wait to go back again next year!

The food took forever to come out. I ordered more drinks and then had to wait after I was done the meal until I actually relieved them. We saw our waitress few times, and the food wasn’t that good.

Visited the Red Parka for drinks and entertainment late evening on Saturday(10⁄24). The bar was hopping. Crowds were heavy. Had to jostle a bit to get to the bathrooms. Band was fun and decent and engaging with the crowd.(70’s &80’s). Drinks were strong(a plus for the crew I was with). Folks were on the small dance floor. All in all, a good time.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday while we were visiting the area for a long weekend. We opted for sitting in the bar which is more our style but there is a separate dining room if you prefer that. When we came in the bartender greeted us right away and was friendly. No delay in getting our first round of drinks, although she was chatty with regular customers so it took a little bit to get a next round. I expect things like that to happen in a small place like that, especially when its off or between seasons, and she was friendly and made really good drinks, so it was worth the wait. They had an interesting variety of beers on tap, I was thrilled that they had Woodchuck Gumption Cider on tap but unfortunately for my boyfriend the IPA they had on tap wasn’t too great., so it would’ve been nice to have other options. I did also have a mixed drink… very well made, definitely got my moneys worth for the amount of whiskey that went in! We ordered dinners, including the salad bar which was bleak, and the food was only OK. I had a special which was teriyaki steak and baked stuffed shrimp and my fella had salmon dinner. Both meals were ok, but nothing fantastic. My steak was lukewarm, but the twice baked potato was very good. I don’t feel it was worth the money we spent, but they do have burgers and sandwiches and things that are priced moderately. The décor was fun, and the service was good. I did love that they had live music on a Sunday afternoon/evening and the football game was on, too. It seemed like a fun little place, nice and casual with a funky kind of vibe. Next time we’re in the area we’ll probably be back to visit the bar, but will try maybe just sticking with pub food or appetizers if we decide to eat there.

Stopped in with friends for a late lunch about 3pm and since the main dining room was not yet open, we ate in the Pub. The inside is decorated with old ski equipment, license plates and various signs. There was a mix of families, couples, friends and a group of bikers(the motorcycle type) so clearly, it’s good for everyone. It’s a bit dark where we were seated, but they have a heated patio out back. The pub height tables are cut from a single, huge tree trunk. There are also low top tables and bar seating. They do ask that you silence your phones as a courtesy to the other guests. That’s a nice touch. We had a sirloin burger, turkey burger and two BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. According to our friend, the pulled pork was ‘just about the best’ she’d ever had. The burger was perfectly cooked, thick and juicy and the turkey burger was very tasty. All were served on soft buns that held up well to the juicy burger and pulled pork. We all left very full and very satisfied.

Prime Rib at its best… excellent service, kid friendly, aged beef, fresh seafood items, amazing atmosphere. Sat on the patio sipping BLUEBERRY Sangria listening to Sunday afternoon entertainment, watched the Owner/Managers visit guests. Great time, every time!

Should be 2 ½ but app won’t let me. My first time in the area and heard good things. Won’t go back. Salad bar is cool, everything was fresh and plentiful which was great but some issues back at our table. When my husband and I got up to get some more salad we returned to our plates, silver wear, waters and bread cleared up. The busboy seemed surprised when we came back and he tried giving us the same silver wear back which we had taken, needless to say we requested new ones. In fairness it didn’t seem like he spoke English but based on how many times the waitress, hostess and other staff at parkah came to check to see if we were done with our meal seems like they like to turn tables fast(way to quickly and haphazardly in my opinion considering people get up numerous times for the salad bar). We both got steak which comes with a veg and starch, we opted for double veg and when it came out it looked like they didn’t double anything, they gave us a a small portion(one) veg with our steak. My steak was charred way too much for my liking as well. Not worth returning. Waitress seemed nice but it was weird she made a comment when she checked with us while we ate on meal«oh the waits one hour now» I don’t really care. Maybe she was just starting a convo but I didn’t appreciate it since I already felt rushed.

Went for dinner last night. Ate in dining room side. Did saladbar and French onion soup. No complaints. The nachos with pork were amazing. Our waiter Seth was very attentive. The prices are a bit on the high side in my opinion. It’s good but it’s not extraordinary. Worth a try for sure. I’m still thinking about those nachos :)

Living down the road for the summer. Went to TRP for a casual dinner and were the only people there. It was so wonderful experience however. Very attentive service! I went on a Wednesday when they happened to have 72 cent chicken wings. I got 6, tossed in buffalo — cheap and filled me up! They were huge! Great beer served in a mason jar. Can’t wait to go back on another Wednesday, or for an open mic night!

I had the prime rib here and it was cooked exactly how I like! The Jack Daniels Mushroom Demi-Glacé was excellent! The twice baked potato was a little dry and obviously made well ahead of time to accommodate the crowd they knew they’d receive on a holiday weekend! Overall a good meal for the cost!

My «medium» steak came out the rarest rare I’ve ever witnessed. Husband, same(and he will eat just about any rare steak!) We sent them back, it came back rare again. «It’s pink» our waiter argued, as I pointed out the raw purple meat and as if I haven’t been ordering my steak medium my whole damn life from steakhouses much nicer than this! Finally I just asked them to cook it well done — then, at that point, it came back medium.(And even was still a medium rare but I gave up at this point). Same problems at the tables around us. A self-identified butcher behind us told another guest«check your steak» and gave the waiter an extra hard time about his«medium» steak which was also rare. He sent it back too. Apps took at least 20 minutes to come out, steak shortly after but my husband was well beyond done by the time I got mine back for the third time(yes, he shared in the meantime.) Worst part was our steaks were extraordinarily bland, which could have possibly been saved by the herb butter I ordered but never got. And all this for $ 85 bucks, could have at least written off the salad bars or something since we had to wait for our steaks. Thanks a bunch!

RPP is the best restaurant in the valley! My family has been coming here for years and we ALWAYS make sure to go for dinner. Personally I go for the king cut of prime rib with the salad bar. The meat is always cooked perfectly and the chilli bacon dressing on the salad bar is to die for. They only have the prime rib Friday, Saturday, and Sunday while supplies last. If you’re around the other days of the week, not to worry, everything on the menu is top notch! Make sure to save room for desserts, the Mud Pie and Celestial Cookie could be a meal by themselves, but are a required part of the experience. The people are incredible and very very patient, especially with big groups and kids. I recommend RPP know matter who you are!
