Oh, *we WILL be back! This place is so tubular in all aspects! Service is awesome. Food was amazing. Ok so, *we got the Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos for an appetizer. BOMB! Entrees: Ahi Tuna Poke and Skirt Steak Salsa Verde. Super bomb! To drink: non-alcoholic spritzers… Hibiscus something something but it was soooo refreshing! Oh and did I mention *our tubular table! The restaurant is on the third floor and *our table(best table on the patio) overlooks The Americana. Oh my gosh I almost forgot, the complimentary bread with oil and olives for dipping, Delicious! To top off *our delicious dinner, French Press Coffee to go, AWESOME! * refers to myself and the most handsome man on this planet(my boyfriend Dustin).

The multiple times that I have been to Bar Verde, I have always encountered amazing service along with outstanding food options. The menu changes from time to time, but I have tried a couple of awesome choices from the menu. To begin with, I have tried the cilantro lime chicken tacos which are amazing and so fulfilling, tomato basil soup(my all time favorite bowl of soup during cold or rainy days), Santa Fe chicken sandwich(which melts in your mouth), and finally fig and berry chicken salad which is extremely refreshing and one of my favorites salads. Every single time I come to eat here I always sit outside, which is very relaxing especially overlooking the entire Americana and feels really cozy.

Bar Verde has a really nice location on top floor of Nordstrom with nice patio. It was my first time there we went to have a coffee but they don’t have big selection. Pizza with basil cheese and tomatoes was really good with thin crust and good as starter but not enough for lunch. Pizza there is really good better than in Amici which is near downstairs. For sure I’ll be back.

This is a Pretty place to have a drink and a bite to eat when you’re shopping at Americana mall. The atmosphere here is great, with a big window to the pretty modern kitchen where several chefs are cooking the food. And another big window that overlooks the courtyard of the mall with the fountain. My hubby had a turkey sandwich and said he felt sick afterwards. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious and I didn’t feel sick at all. The only other thing I have to say is that they need to step up the beer selection. No IPA! No Bueno. There are a lot of yummy IPAs out there.

The food is PERFECTION! They are always so nice but the best server their is Emily. She is super friendly and knowledgeable!!! The manager is really friendly and outgoing! Order the skirt steak with salsa verde, pair it with the super Tuscan red wine and for dessert, the salted caramel cheesecake is a must! I wish I can give more than 5 stars.

Yum! Don’t let its discrete location fool you. This place is tucked away on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom which makes it easy to overlook. Came to Americana with friends last night and skipped the long wait at Cheesecake to come here instead. We were seated immediately. I got the Sante Fe chicken sandwich which came with a side of fries. Amazing! The sandwich was fresh, warm, and delicious. The fries were thin hot and crispy, the way fries should be. Their menu is not too extensive but the quality is definitely there. The service was very friendly and professional. The prices are average for sandwiches($ 12-$ 15) and go up to $ 20-$ 30 for entrees like steak(and I believe seafood). This place is definitely underrated! Highly recommend.

All I want to say is that I cannot believe I had not visited this place sooner. The food really looks as good as it tastes, the menu has a great variety of assorted items so there is something for everyone. I tried the Santa Fe chicken sandwich with a modification on rustic bread and I was obsessed. My sister got the pan roasted chicken, which was accompanied by fresh sides such as, carrots, potatoes, and brussel sprouts. I cannot wait to go back! If you are ever at the Americana doing some shopping and you need a quick bite, visit bar verde!

So this nice resturant/bar is located on the top floor of Nordstom(Americana at Brand) with a nice patio. We sat outside and it was delightful. They have a pretty good menu with a daily special. I didn’t like their selection of wines:( The food was good, got the berry& fig salad. I was hoping for a faster service since there weren’t many tables(around 3:00 pm). Overall it’s a nice place to grab a bite and continue shopping.

You’ve got to sit outside(especially during the holidays) the view is BEAUTIFUL. However if you don’t want the«snow» in your food, don’t sit so close to the edge because your food will be covered in it. The snow machine doesn’t turn on too often; I was sitting for about 1 – 1.5 hrs and it only came on once, thank goodness. I got the Chinese Chicken Salad and it was delicious. I got the dressing on the side in case they put too much. They gave a decent amount of chicken too. My friend got the tacos and the tomato soup and she liked it. The waiters were all very nice. At the end, they started coming around slower when we wanted to pay go figure. Very nice experience overall.

Came here for lunch with friends and may I say that it was delicious? We got the cilantro lime tacos as a starter and OMG! amazing! You most definitely have to try them! They were so fresh and flavorful. The tortilla was thin and crispy — perfection! I ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich. I thought it was good for an average sandwich. The food here is a little over priced but it’s a nice place to come once in a while. There’s a nice view if you sit outside(you’re over looking the plaza :) I forgot our waitress’ name but she was honestly very friendly and super welcoming. thank you!

This is a cute restaurant located in the new Nordstrom at the Americana. The Nordstrom is super nice so it made sense to have a nice upper deck restaurant match the chic department store. I don’t love this place and I don’t hate it. I really like the décor on the inside and I enjoy sitting out on their patio. There is a cute view and especially if its not too hot you feel the nice breeze and it makes for a nice experience. I have been here twice and both times I got salads. I went here for lunch with my mom on Sunday and I got their Scallop salad. It tasted really great, but honestly it was not filling at all. My mom got their Chinese Chicken Salad and she wasn’t very satisfied either. We spent a good amount of money and we both left semi-hungry. The only thing that was pretty hearty was their fresh bread with olive spread they brought out, which tasted great. I think overall it’s a nice restaurant to come in if you’re not too hungry, but for it to be located in the middle of the Americana I just think you have way better options to try out than Bar Verde.

Surprisingly, their food is really good. For some reason, I didn’t really expect the food to be as exceptional as it was. Keep it going, Bar Verde! Ordered a chicken salad with the lime cilantro vinaigrette and a shrimp pasta. Both were really flavorful and fresh. Also ordered their red sangria and it was very good as well. The restaurant is clean and their service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

What a great addition to the Americana. We came here today for lunch and we all had a great time. The service was good, the food was good and the overall atmosphere was great! I have to say their cilantro chicken lime tacos take the cake! They are on the small plates/appetizer menu but honestly the best taco I have ever tasted in my life. The taco shell was crisp to perfection, it was not stale like other hard shell tacos I have had before. It was so crisp and so fresh. The cilantro lime chicken tacos had romaine lettuce, yellow pepper, tomato, cilantro lime vinaigrette, queso fresco and chicken of course oh and served with a lime wedge. It was extremely flavorful and next time I come I will definitely get this again. Another dish that I ordered was their Santa fe chicken sandwich which had avocado, jack cheese, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, chili pepper aïoli, toasted sourdough bread. This was good but I think I’ve had better but overall not too bad. I would recommend. The pan roasted chicken was also another great dish it had crispy smashed potatoes, baby carrots, brussels sprouts, peppercorn demi-glacé with pan roastec chicken, the brussel sprouts and other sides were good as well. My friends ordered their spritzers with rose water, 2 of them liked it the other one didn’t. It just depends on your taste buds. Overall the food quality was excellent. You can tell this was fresh natural food that they provide. It’s a great place to be, very loungy and trendy. I definitely will be back!

I really liked Bar Verde. I sat outside, which was great since it was a beautiful day. I love that they’re high up(they’re on the third floor inside Nordstrom) because it allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the crowd while still being able to enjoy the openness of the American at Brand. The service was great — my waitress came out right away. She was very nice and helped me decide on a drink. I already knew what I wanted to eat, so she put in my order quickly, which was great. I ordered the seared scallops without the bacon dressing. The scallops were great, but it was paired with a salad that in my opinion, didn’t mesh. The salad was cold which, personally, I wasn’t expecting. Usually when scallops come over a salad, the salad is a warm arugula and corn salad. That works much better with the temperature of the scallops. The salad had cucumbers and cold onion slices in it, which I think really took away from the scallops. I would rate this dish a 4⁄10. The scallops were great but the salad it came over really ruined it for me. Maybe it’s better for those who get it with the bacon dressing! I would recommend this place — just not the scallop dish! Bar Verde is one of the nicer places inside the Americana and it’s a great place to get away inside the mall! Tip: You can have your parking validated here!

I have been here twice. It is definitely an underrated yet good option in the Americana. Both times I have experienced spectacular service and have been very satisfied by my meals. The appetizer bread is served with olive oil that has an olive tapenade in it which is my favorite. The chicken sandwich and the shrimp salad are both amazing options. Also the flatbread is great choice.

This is my second time coming here for lunch. And it’s quite delicious for being a café /restaurant inside Norstroms. After A day of shopping this comes pretty convenient lol they also have cocktails if you need a pick me up ;) prices are reasonable and the service is great.

I’ve been to Bar Verde countless times, whether it was at the Americana or at the Grove. I love it here! The food is so fresh and it is absolutely delicious. Sachino was our waitress tonight and was so sweet. We sat outside on the rooftop patio next to a heat lamp so we wouldn’t be too cold. We were ready to order right away since we knew what we wanted beforehand and she was quick to take our order. The tomato soup was to die for and my ultimate favorite is their Chinese chicken salad! We asked if we could have grilled cheese with our soup and she suggested the grilled cheese kids meal option. I know very cute, but it was perfect. I always have their house sparkling water because it is very refreshing. I’ve also tried the Santa Fe Sandwich here before and it is so awesome and flavorful! This place is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to date. We always love eating here before going to the movies and even when we are just here to shop around at Americana.

Happy Hour Only: Chic, contemporary bar/restaurant with clean lines that reflects an early 21st century focus on the utilitarian. The plush, pretentious/elegant feeling presented in the old top floor lunch room at the iconic Bullock’s Wilshire, where a maitre de restaurant greeted ladies-who-lunch in white gloves & an elegant chapeau, is a thing of the long gone past. The service here is friendly, casual, informal. It seems like an ideal place to take a break from a rigorous round of shopping or to conclude that round by rewarding oneself with a refreshing drink & a nosh. Our group met for happy hour which is from 4pm to 7pm. There is a small list of four $ 5 small dishes/appetizers, choice of three $ 5 wines, & three $ 4 beers. I choose the Short Rib Soft Tacos w/a filling of coleslaw inflected w/Kochujang/Korean piquant, fermented soybean paste, & dab of sour cream. The short rib meat was soft, & w/touch of meaty Umami. There were two slices of lime to add a fresh citrus gastrique. The coleslaw was slightly acidic w/a fermented sourness that was a good counter to the meat flavours. Three of these tacos on a plate was a reasonable price in such a smart setting. Since it was so hot outside, I chose the Covey Run Riesling which was closer to a Kabinett in that it was mild, not too sweet, smooth. The typical«diesel» scent of a Riesling was missing. The overall impression was that this Riesling tasted a bit«flat». A bit more acidity would have been a good balance to the light sweetness. I used one of the limes from the taco plate & placed it in the wine for a Sangria Blanca effect which worked beautifully. The citrus lime oil flavours & the added citrus acidity enlivened the Covey Run so it paired even better with the Short Rib Tacos. First impression on Happy Hour only: It’s a good deal in a chic environment. The price is certainly affordable. 3 Unilocal stars on a pleasant close to summer solstice evening.

I come to Americana a lot now that I have a baby. There is no baby friendlier place around! That said except for din tai fung I got pretty sick of my food selection. Then I remebered bar verde! Located on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom, it was actually perfectly next to the baby section, where we had to shop anyways. We sat outside in the patio overlooking the green area and you can see the fountain water show without the crowd. The olive oil w sun dried tomatoes that comes with the bread is amazing. I pretty much licked the entire dipping plate. We got the amelia and noreaster for cocktails. I preferred the amelia so glad it was my drink! The calamari is Asian inspired — like sweet n sour sauce(more sweet than sour). So if you don’t like this style you will hate it. I welcomed the change tonight since I was looking for something different. The kale and farro salad was great and more dense than the usual kale salad, which is great because I always have this fear that if I only order a salad for dinner I will go hungry if I don’t add meat(or an app). Now I know I can just order the salad! The italian sausage and broccoli rabe flatbread pizza was good, not insanely fantastic, but good. The bathrooms are inside Nordstrom and so it is a bit of a short walk so don’t hold in your pee! I like how it feels kinda like a secret spot.

I’m not a craver. Even though I like and eat good food, I don’t really find myself craving for particular foods. Which is why I find it amusing I craved a few times for their Ahi Tuna Poke. It’s quite delish. It’s already marinated in soy sauce so no need to dip it in the sauce again. Just put those plump ahi chunks straight on top of the crispy wonton and taste the flavorful bliss all the way till the end. Yum I also like their tomato soup. Pair it with their fresh baked bread. Cocktails are always good after shopping session
