This hole in the wall was actually really good. I got a turkey burger combo. It was affordable and tasty. Didn’t taste like a frozen turkey patty, which is always a plus. The burger was also a good size and very filling. In fact, the burger and fries together were a little too much. I was so full and couldn’t finish it all. The fries were typical diner style fries and tasty as well. My friend got a beef burger and he enjoyed it as well. The service was average but you expect that when theres only a couple of people working in an establishment. The food didn’t take too long, about 10 minutes. If in the area, I would go again.

Carne asada fries are listed as a side, but it’s big enough for a meal in itself. Owners are really nice, and the prices are good!

First visit and it was fantastic. Service is top notch. Ordered the Boss Burger, a hot dog, and carne asada fries. OMG! Most delicious experience ever. Definitely returning again and will be order the exact same. Do yourself a favor and get over to Burger Bun, order the carne asada fries with some extra homemade salsa on the side. Thank you so much Burger Bun for an amazing experience for our tastebuds!

I’ve ate here maybe 3 – 4 times but I know what I’m expecting before I go there I read some reviews about ppl complaining that the service wasn’t good or the fries had too much oil dripping off them Guys you are coming to a burger joint that serves mexican food too what do else do you expect If you come in craving a burger or a torta you won’t be disappointed But if you come here for your husbands 40th bday then im sure you will come across some things that you won’t like Burgers are oaky Mexicans okay over all not a bad place to come have a quick bite

Stopped in couple times and I must say this small quaint burger joint does serve up some pretty decent grilled burgers. I’ve had their veggie burger and regular burger and they were equally juicy also humongous. It would be a sin to not order fries when grabbing a burger. Their fries were lightly crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. My tummy is grumbling as I type my review. As mentioned the place is small, but does accommodate for a quickie bite. Good to grab for to-go orders too. Parking is just outside in the lot where Paris Baguette and Barrio Fiesta is located. Good eats!

I get my nails done next door to this place, my husband called and asked to pick up a burger for him since I was right there and he’d get to try a new spot… so I walk into an empty restaurant, no workers no customers, just some lonely kid sitting on his iPad, I hear the kitchen sink running in the back, so I call out hello 3x in a matter of 5 minutes… finally some guy walks out and without a greeting says, OH! We’re closed! Uhm… it’s 2:15 pm on a Saturday, your door is wide open you got tables and chairs… then has the nerve to ask me if the closed sign is on the window… NO obviously if you closed your door and put a closed sign my a$$ wouldn’t walk in! But thanks rude douchebag I won’t be coming back. I don’t understand what type of business rejects clients especially one that’s 8 month very pregnant

I really love this place — been coming here several times now. I do not normally write reviews, but I feel that this place definitely deserves one. Everything on their menu is pretty damn good. You cannot go wrong with any choice you make. Aside from their burgers, their chicken tortas are surprisingly tasty. I received possibly the worst customer service from an employee, but it got balanced out with THE best customer service I’ve ever received. The owner(I assume) is a real great guy and pleasant to talk to. If there was a mistake with an order, he will go above and beyond to fix it. There was this one time they ran out of soda lids so the owner gave me an extra soda. Just because. Small things like that make me want to come back again. Only downside is that there’s this one employee who does seem completely bored with the job and give pretty bad customer service. Out of the 4 times dealing with her, she never got our order correct(and not like its complicated to hold the mayo and tomatoes) but that’s not my biggest issue. I don’t know the girl, but she gives off this really negative vibe. I can see how this would put off a lot of customers, but a simple smile and«thank you» would fix that right up.

My boyfriend and I have been to Burger Bun twice now and each time has been a great experience. Not only are the burgers delicious and the fries perfectly seasoned, but the service is excellent. The last time we were there, the man who I can only assume is the owner, was very attentive and even gave us free fries when we placed an extra to go order. We will likely make this place our regular burger joint from now on.

I gotta take off a couple stars because the quality of their burgers has greatly diminished. They used to be delicious fresh beef patties and now they are clearly frozen patties that look like they are bought at Costco or something. These new patties are poor quality that are not up to the standards that Burger Bun used to be. I also don’t like that they changed their hours to close at 8 instead of 9 now and are now closed on Sundays. I work late hours and enjoyed picking up food from here on my way home just before 9 but now I cannot do that because of this recent change. Looks like I won’t be eating here as much anymore :( I really hope these new hours are not due to low revenue and that they are having troubles because as much as their burgers suck now, their Tortas are still amazing and the fries are delicious so I will still come here when I can and definitely still recommend those along with their amazing carne asada fries, shakes, and ice cream. It’s still a great place to go so don’t let them go out of business if they are having financial problems. Pick up the quality of your burgers to bring more people back to your awesome establishment and I will immediately bring this back to 5 stars!

Good classic burgers! Great little hole in the wall and if you want a little dessert after, they got you covered too! Will definitely be back. Good prices and easy to get to with parking. Next time I’ll try and snap a picture before I eat it all haha

This place is really delicious and fairly affordable. It’s small and the parking isn’t great but if you are looking for a yummy lunch joint give this place a try.

Well, it really stinks to have to give this review. Really, it does. Because the food was pretty great. Our family of four(two adults, two kiddos) came here for my husband’s birthday(we came in with presents even, I mean it was obvious that this was a happy occasion). My husband wanted something really casual and was craving a burger and we read about Burger Bun, live in the area, so thought, great, it seems perfect. It’s a small place, but pretty modern and well kept. Lots of choices on the menu, prices were good. We ordered burgers, fries, fried zucchini and hot dogs for the kids. It was all good. So why 2 stars? Well, what was NOT good — the service. The service was just horrible. Where was this amazing customer service so many other Unilocalers talk about at this place? Did they change ownership? First of all, the girl who took our order needed to drink a Red Bull or something. I mean, she could not have lacked more energy. It looked like it pained her to take our order. She was just totally bored with us. But ok, whatever we just ordered and then got our food and that was that. The rest of the time she just spent on her cell phone. We were the only ones there and it seemed like she could have made an effort to be pleasant and welcoming. Then, what I assume to be the owner(nicely dressed man, walking about, carrying a few screwdrivers and trying to fix something) walked by us TWICE, I smiled each time and he just looked at me. No, «Hello, how are you?» «How’s the food?» or anything. Not even a smile. A woman and her young son came in to order something, and the little half door that lifts up to let a worker through from behind the counter to the main dining area was just left up and halfway obstructing this poor woman from even ordering. The girl who was taking her order didn’t even *think* to lower it so she could interact properly with the customer. Bizarre. When we got up to leave the girl and the man both just sort of noticed we were leaving, no goodbye, thank you come again, don’t let the door hit ya on the way out… just NOTHING. So truly disappointed. This would have been a 5 star review if the service had not just been so abysmal. Why bother giving a place your hard earned money when it seems like they don’t even want you to step foot in their door? Off night? Not sure, but we won’t be going again.

There needs to be a clear distinguishment between a gourmet burger and an «on the go» burger. This place is an «on the go burger» that does a good job for what a 6 dollar burger should be, quick and tasty. Warm, pre-made patty tastes like any other quick order patty. The fixins on the boss burger were the best part: perfectly melted American and cheddar, crispy bacon, onion rings, crisp, shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato, and a soft bun. The menu offers Kobe and Angus patties for a steeper price. The picture makes it look like the same thing that we got. Frozen. I’ll pass. We opted for the zucchini instead of the regular fries. Nothing special but still ok. Will definitely try the regular fries next time. $ 9.50 for a meal is not bad considering a foot long, chips, and a drink a couple doors down at Subway would cost you the same thing. I’d rather support the small, local eatery at Burger Bun. The place is tiny and is in the corner of a strip mall. The inside has a cool, casual feel to it. We got there near opening time and it filled up before our meal was over. If I lived nearby, it would be a solid option for a quick lunch. There is double leveled parking so don’t worry about finding a place to park. In n’ Out still claims the top spot for the best«on the go» burger. Burger Bun is a close runner up.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I went in but I left pleasantly surprised. Burger Bun is a very good burger joint. This place offers no frills, straight forward, non-gourmet burgers and succeeds well at what they try to do. THEORDER Boss Burger — 4 out of 5 — burger with onion rings, bacon and all the trimmings with an order of fries and soda for under $ 7…its a deal thats hard to beat all things considered. The burger was well above average. The bacon was of a good quality… nice flavor without being overly salty. Burger comes together well with a juicy and flavorful patty that holds its own. The fries are crispy and come topped with season salt… which does wonders. I’m always surprised more burger places or restaurants don’t add it too. Pastrami Burger — 4 out of 5 — I was pretty surprised with the quality of the pastrami used. It added flavor on top of flavor. I would have been happy with it just by itself. One of my favorite burgers here. Same great deal as above. Carne Asada Fries — 4 out of 5 — I was kind of surprised to see this on the menu but gave it a try since I was really craving carne asada fries. The order really hit the spot. The fries were the same given for all orders but come topped with tasty chunks of carne asada, sour cream, guacamole, red salsa, cheese and beans. OVERALL Much better than I expected. The best compliment I can give this place is that they succeed at what they set out to do… make a good quality food at everyday prices.

Most of the time, whenever I try out a new burger spot, I’m left feeling disappointed and unimpressed. Why? Well, because most burger joints don’t leave a lasting impression, or have me thinking, «Wow, that burger was really good, I have to come back here for that burger!» So when I decided to visit Burger Bun I made sure to keep my expectations reasonable. As long as the burger was not dry, the fries were crunchy, and most importantly, if I left full then I was going to be happy. Fortunately, Burger Bun blew my expectations out of the water, and I’m happy to report that this place is the read deal. If you’re not careful you just might pass by this small shop. The restaurant is quite tiny, probably big enough to fit about 10 to 15 adults. Service is average, but the food is prepared fairly quickly. The menu boasts a good variety of burgers, fried goodies, and even Mexican delights such as burritos and tacos. They also offer ice cream and milkshakes for you sugar addicts! haha I ordered the mushroom burger combo and also added a side of onion rings, while my gf ordered the burger bun combo. In total our meal was under 20 $. The burgers were delicious! The patty was juicy, the buns were light and toasted, the lettuce and tomatoes were plentiful, and the oozing cheese was sheer perfection. The burgers here are top-notch, and at any other restaurant these exact burgers might run you upwards to 10 – 15 $. To top things off, the fries and onion rings were crunchy and perfectly fried. Overall my experience at the Burger Bun was splendid. The food is awesome and the prices are right, making the trip well worth my time. I’ll be back asap! To good eatings.

Just had the triple decker mushroom burger with bacon… It’s HUGE! I could barely bite into it. Easily weighed over a pound and it was delicious. The patties were very thick. For example, three patties here are equivalent to about 6 – 7 patties at in n out if you were to stack them up next to eachother lol. Sorry, I crack myself up with my weird comparisons sometimes. Anyway, very bomb burger… I also had a hotdog with cheese, which was very bombaniac as well! Yes, I ate all of that in one sitting.

Pros: decent burritos and fried zucchini Cons: my fitness tracker did not approve I used to eat a lot of burritos and fried zucchini because they taste good and probably because I was depressed and hated myself. Now I have a gf and a fitness tracker, so I don’t eat as much of this stuff. I now realize that this review is completely useless.

The owner and operator(Armenian) is a second generation chap, therefore he boasts fine manners and a pleasant demeanor that will definitely impress. Because of informing him that my fellow Unilocal-ers suggested I stop by, he rolled out the red carpet giving me an extra side and a free Starbucks Frappucino! The Kobe Burger was sensational in every sense. Not only that, it wields gourmet flavor at a drive-thru price point. Highly recommend making a detour over here when you have a free moment. Best Burger in Glendale!
