came here when I was broke to redeem my free sub with points only to find their English skills and understanding of the subway card were both virtually nonexistent. The foods fine but I had to use my actual money for it. Ugh.

I live near this place but will not set foot in this place again. The guy first of all seemed stoned and not interested to help us out. He was more concerned with his co– worker having two more minutes left on his break. He added a veggie patty without me even asking for that. He used the same knife multiple times without even washing it or wiping it down. He just seemed unhappy not sure if management is aware of all this bad reviews at this location maybe he was the manager himself. They actually deserve a zero for not following direction and horrible customer service. Next time wash your knives.

Here today at close to 3pm, still fairly busy for mid-day. Workers look like they hate their lives. No smiles, no hellos. Just one worded questions/statements. «Bread?» «cheese?» «toasted?» «$ 6.50». The guy who took my bread order had the most sour face, skipped his name but had a star tattoo by his neck. Sandwich guy Abu did a messy job with my sandwich. Same no smiles. And lastly the cashier girl was basically the same flat affect. But eh. It’s subway, people go to subway for the quick cheap food not service. But still, I was in a such a great mood before coming in and just watching their terrible attitudes with each customer to the next got me down. Otherwise I did enjoy my sandwich and soup. Moving out of the area, maybe the next place will have nicer people. Management if you’re reading this, I suggest sending in an undercover to see how their customer service is by reading other reviews I can see I’m not the only one who felt this way. Maybe give your workers a pep talk on customer service. Or better yet find new nice young people! People are fighting for jobs and anyone can make a sandwich so you might as well fill your store with good people.

All I can say is that I found it rather odd that the staff new I spoke Spanish yet they were talking to each other about a co workers hair they found in the food and the register was short. Will not be coming here again. Although the location was nice and clean I would rather go somewhere else. Even if my sandwich was good I was disgusted when the staff as gossiping about what happens at this location.

Probably the last time coming here. I usually come to this subway just because it’s close to my job and normally order the breakfast sandwich. I can’t complain about the sandwich it’s pretty standard at all subways but the customer service is really lacking! I’m not saying all, I have dealt with a few staff but the one that really works my nerves is Neftali. Every time I come in there it’s like he’s always having a bad day and you can feel his bad energy. They have a sign that says free coffee with any sandwich before 11. I did in fact order a breakfast sandwich before 11 but I did have a coupon that was bogo 6 inch in which he argued I couldn’t get both. With my coupon alone he was arguing that for me to get the bogo I would have to buy a drink as well. I said no because that’s not what the coupons says. anywho enough ranting I’m just going on this particular subway location strike. You suck.

Today is national sandwich day just left without my free sub the horrible employee with no interest just tried to up sale me like if he makes commission lol what a joke. He didn’t ask if I wanted my sub deal and I ask and he said it was over already yet still the day of deal never coming back here plus all employees speaking Spanish laughing and talking about how they were going to split their 2 dollar tips with his dorky ass tattoo on his neck and his fake earring made out of metal with fake stones be a better employee instead of trying to be cool you work at subway didn’t even have a name tag so I can write it on here. I can only imagine the manager!!!

Literally the worst service ever. I live around the corner and come multiple times a day, and not the morning crew, nor the lunch crew or night crew have good service. It’s like the whole staff here is unhappy and it pours out through their horrible customer service.

I really try to walk into a place offering the benefit of the doubt and I’m truly not demanding when it comes to the expectations I have of most eateries, but when something sticks out and almost seems to go out of their way to provide bad service, then I start typing. When I went to the Unilocal page to write this, I wasn’t surprised that the majority of reviewers gave this Subway a bad rating. I have to agree with them all with the terrible service. My Family go to lots of Subway shops, the closest a couple of blocks away in Pasadena, CA. where we get great service, but I was in the Glendale, CA. area recently with my Family and we stopped in to grab some sandwiches. From the moment we walked in, the place was not up to the normal standard that I’m used to when eating at a Subway with dirty tables and floors, but when we started ordering, the person taking our order was nearly impossible to understand, mumbling so low that we kept having to ask them to repeat too many times to count and then gave us an attitude like we were the difficult ones. My Son and Daughter don’t like cheese on their sandwiches so in every other Subway we have ever been to we just tell them to either put the cheese on the side, or put the cheese they would have put on theirs on mine and they outright refused to do either one, saying it was their policy not to do that and so after arguing with the staff, I ended up having them put the cheese on everyone’s subs and then took it off in front of them to put on mine. You would have thought that they were just about to jump across the food counter to grab the cheese away from me by the way they looked at me, then they retaliated by putting very small portions of everything on the rest of the subs to teach us a lesson and I had to keep telling them that they needed to put the right amount of ingredients, even the lettuce until they did, with an attitude, of course. THEN they over-charged us and I had to go back to get my money back and they argued that with me as well until I called the so-called manager(I don’t think they really had one) over to force them to make the bill right. The staff were all rude, uncaring, sarcastic, incompetent, argumentative, full of themselves for some reason,(Like they were so important by working in a Subway) and none of them really knew what they were doing. The staff had to tell the person making the sandwiches several time how to do it over and over and then would make him feel bad in front of the customers. Two of the staff were on their cell phones most of the time while they were supposed to be serving customers so the lines were backing up. There was clearly no leadership and I guess that the owners just don’t care, otherwise they wouldn’t put up with that sort of behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Subway goes out of business from the staff driving the customers away. I was so committed about posting the review, that I went out of my way to drive past it again on another date that I was in Glendale just to make sure I had the right address. I hope the owners read their reviews, but I’m afraid that they don’t care enough to make things better. I’d go miles out of my way to go to any other Subway than this one.

Went here today to purchase a catering order, this subway is my place to go. I’ve been to other subways that have turned their back on my business because of the size of order or because they don’t want to take my order while there’s a few(3 – 4) customers in line. But this subway has always been amaizing. Like today I was helped by Jorge and he took my catering order and was very helpful and understanding. Even thou I offered for him to ring up the waiting customers and then take my order he still declined and took care of me. We need more of those employees at these places. Im giving this place 4 star because if only EDGAR!!! Finally I found him, he is very friendly and he was nice the whole entire time, He knew what he was doing, i do not eat meet and since he was making a meat sandwich for someone else before he got to me; i kindly asked him to use fresh gloves and he was so cool about it and did not make me feel in any way! Im happy we have Edgar now

I rarely go to this Subway and I’m going to say it’s because of the bad service. I’m sure everyone that goes in here knows this. It isn’t just the regular workers either, the managers as well. Right off the bat I got shitty attitude, no smile or welcome greeting. The worker did not cut my sandwich in the size I ordered — it looked like a sandwich from the kids meal. Also, I didn’t even finish because it just wasn’t good. I took about 4 bites before just completely giving up on it and throwing it away.

This subway has to be the worst subway I have ever stepped in. Whoever owns this subway needs to re-evaluate his/her employees. I’ve been here 20+ times and every time it has the worst customer service. Unfortunately this is the closest subway so I come here. There are times when I crave subway and I avoid coming, just so I don’t have to get pissed off. If I can give this place zero stars. I would. Whoever owns this subway. Ok there are like five or more better ways to spend 5 dollars. Subway you just suck really badly. I would rather go to the HK market to get Korean bbq or to Tiffanys across the street. If you like getting paper thin meat with too much mayo go here. Nothing here is worth it. I used to think subway was alright but now I just think its too corporate. If a subway CEO ate at this location he would be pissed off. This place does not promote local business. That means none of the money goes back to the town. The workers don’t get any kind of upward mobility. Subway is a black hole. I would much rather go else where and I used to go here quite often in high school. ***Bottom line– Who really wants to support your stingy cheep business anymore, get out of town ****

Sandwiches are Sandwiches at Subway but the service needs much improvement. I don’t care if you speak another language but when you’re to busy speaking to your coworkers in another language and can’t be bothered to listen to me when YOU just asked me what I want is a BIG problem. Unfortunately this is par for the course at this Subway.
