Exquisite Threading

I’ve had my brows done, my hair cut and manicures there and they always do a fabulous job. Their nail service is outstanding and they always do such a good job that the shellac manicure that it always lasts the full two weeks!

Not a bad place. I generally only come for the eye brow threading and overall I have not had a bad experience with threading and I don’t generally have to ask for someone in particular. I think they all do a decent job. Staff is friendly. If you want a pedi or medi though make sure you book an appointment. They don’t handle walk-​ins well for that service.

So, it’s been about now 4 months since I got my service done there… and I have decided to write this review. I am new to the area and was looking for a new place to do my hair… I should have figured that this is a eyebrow place, not a hair salon… I walked out of there spending a total of 300 $ including tips. I don’t have a problem paying 300 $ cuz that’s what I usually pay in Chicago. But I walked out of there dissatisfied with the results… I believe my hairstylist was new… had no idea what she was doing, kept asking the other stylist what to do. Brenda mendoza was her name. I came in the first time spent around 150 $ came out looking like what I came in with just with a messed up haircut… I didnt realize it still I washed my hair at home that a big chunk was missing in the back N color was so uneven. Told her I was unhappy and she told me to come in to fix… came out having to pay another 150 $ with tip and was told that I didn’t have to pay for my haircut today… the haircut that she had to fix!!! Just stay away…

They always do a good job on my eyebrows, but I don’t recommend coming here to get eyelash extensions. I went here the other day to get lash extensions for the first time and all I have to say is you get what you pay for, $ 35 for some cheap lashes that looked a mess, took them off the same day I got them done. Definitely go somewhere else if you want to get your lashes done, but it’s a good place to get your eyebrows threaded.

Horrible customer service! Seems that they are always have extra staff and they are just sitting around on their phones and chatting with each other. My no chip lasted 3 days and my nails broke. Also, they are not very friendly to the customers.

This is my home-​base location. Love that they moved here from the mall. There’s a lot more parking in their lot out front. Yes, they get busy. Especially on Fridays when everyone is getting pretty for the weekend. Call ahead for your brows if you want to be safe, otherwise as a walk in I’ve never had to wait longer than 15 minutes. Nails are another story. I would call several days in advance to make an appointment and don’t rely on walking in. There’s a 5 minute grace period for showing up late for a nail appointment, so unless someone is late and you can swoop in on their time slot, it ain’t happenin! I’ve gotten my nails done once, nothing to complain about. They do an absolutely amazing job taming my Mexican eyebrows. I’ve used different threaders every time and they all know what they’re doin!
They utilize a punch card so take advantage and get your 7^th (?) threading for free. I usually go every 2 weeks and once you start going regularly you notice that less hair grows back. The pricing is very reasonable, too. I personally think it hurts like hell, and I forget to breath. They’re good about giving me breaks to catch my breath and wipe my tears like the big baby I am. Take Advil before you go, it helps!

I love Nishi for my threading! She is absolutely amazing! I don’t trust my eyebrows to just anyone, and I have gone to her about 3 times since going to this new location. The waiting area could be bigger, it’s a very tight squeeze in there when full-​which is only about 10 seats. But I do love the new location. Will have to try their nail services some day!
I recently got a pedicure there with Danielle and she was great!!! Everything about my service was amazing. If you want to try someone there for a pedicure, you won’t be disappointed with Danielle.

Used to be much better when they were at Bayshore. I had to wait an hour the other day to get my eyebrows done and they were letting technicians go home while I sat there waiting! Zero customer service and they didn’t even do a good job! My eyebrows looked the same when I got home.

I used to only go to Exquisite Threading to get my eyebrows done and I knew they offered waxing services but never wanted to try it.
I got a brazillian here a little over a month ago, I don’t remember the name of the woman anymore but it was a fine experience. I went yesterday and had a woman named Odi do my brazillian and I couldn’t be any happier! She made it super comfortable to be there. She talked the whole time, which I personally liked. She got right into the waxing and I was out in about 20 minutes which was the best part!
I’m definitely going to continue to get brazillians done by Odi and I love Exquisite Threading!

I’ve always gone to Polished Nail Bar but thought I would try this salon. I have been three times and haven’t been overly impressed. They are always consistently over-​staffed with several employees all hanging out behind the desk or at the counter– playing games or watching videos on their phones– very few of them are actually working. It’s a very unprofessional environment.
Additionally, their customer service is terrible. I got a shellac mani/​pedi last Wednesday and by Saturday my nails were chipped and lifting. I called to see if they could redo them or offer me a refund and was told that they offer their customers a 3 day grace period in which they will fix chips, but after that it’s $ 3 per nail. I asked how that could possibly be their policy when shellac is supposed to last up to 14 days with no chips and the receptionist indicated that she «didn’t know» that was «just what she was told.»
I will never go to this salon again after this experience. I will return to Polished Nail Bar because they always take care of their employees and have no problem fixing manicures that didn’t last or compensating with a free manicure in the future.

I have been a loyal fan of ET since 2010 and always loved the girls I have been to and great service. I have seen alot of changes (some good, some ok).
The new location was a great move, however the spa waiting area – is about 12×6 (not very accommodating) and overflows to the nail area or somewhere else in the spa. I lived with it, because I had the option to make an appointment to this beautiful establishment and I’m in and out! If I still to wait they were always have been professional and courteous about it. I and I come back for more. But…
Now all appointments for brows are walk-​ins and eyelashes are APPT ONLY.
Not sure how walk-​ins will work with an overcrowded waiting room at a «spa» in the Glendale/​Whitefish Bay area. But good luck ET «it was fun while it lasted»…now to make me an appointment with another great brow place. I will check back :/

So, I decided to try their new location after a coworker highly suggested it again, and WOW have they improved. The new salon is much bigger, offering more services and also getting you in and out faster. The women working there are much more considerate and do a great job. I’ve gone back multiple times now without disappointment. I’m glad I can rely on them to do my eyebrows! I would give them 5 stars but I haven’t gotten any other services done besides threading.

Love, love, love my eyebrows! I’ve always been a waxer but on a whim I thought I’d give threading a try. Super glad I did! It was a lil rough being that it was the first time. i kept jumping and my eyes watered like CRAZY! I’m hoping the more you do it the more desensitized you become. Monika was super patient w/​me! It’s less expensive than waxing — that was a pleasant surprise!
Oh yeah — no longer at Bayshore, down the street in the plaza that The Men’s Warehouse is.
