Tres, tres cute … But it’s Italian. It’s small, so you better have a reservation. Looks like a great place for a special romantic evening. I happened to stop in one afternoon for lunch. Service was great, I had the rigatoni, yummy yummy.

BOOM! Drop the Mike! An outstanding evening in a lovely, serene, intimate with warm ambiance, a special restaurant. Dee-​Licious meals, blackened salmon rocked it. Excellent attention by staff and owner, Tony. Happy birthday! A charming stand alone brick building in an easy on traffic and parking area on N. Brand. Now let’s talk about the music. the pianist was concert quality, just fills your soul with his tinkling of the keys. Going back!

On Tuesday, May 17^th I made a reservation for Friday May 20^th at 7:15 pm for my birthday thru Open Table. I received the email from Open Table confirming my reservation. We arrived at Gennaro’s around 7 and there was a handwritten sign on the door that said «Closed until further notice.» How disappointing and frustrating. I do not understand how I was not contacted to be informed that my reservation could not be honored. Regardless of circumstances, an automated message would have been appreciated. I had multiple people meeting me at the restaurant.

We found this little gem of a restaurant and we couldn’t have been happier! I can’t believe this wonderful restaurant isn’t filled to the brim each day/night…great ambiance, amazing food, wonderful service and to top it off… we LOVED the guitar singer!!! Please go here and support this little hometown restaurant!

I went on Unilocal and found this restaurant close to work and I called today during my lunch to place an order. The guy that answered the phone was Tony. He literally went above and beyond for me, explaining everything on the menu. I felt like I was being so annoying but he was very patient with me. I ended up getting the chicken fettuccine, it came with 3 different breads that came with it, mmmm they were delicious. thanks so much for the great service & great food.

This place is very quiet, romantic and perfect for those who wish to have dinner with that special someone to celebrate a special occasion. The service is great and so is the food.
A reservation is highly recommended if you want to sit in a booth, as they have a limited number of them. They have plenty of tables as well, and they are nice. We just prefer the booth for more privacy.
We’ll be back.

Had a lovely meal on New Year’s Eve with family here. Food and wine was lovely. Guitarist was a nice touch. Service was pretty slow but bearable.

Went there last night to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. I have to say I picked the perfect place. We both loved this place very much. The ambience was great, customer service was great and the food was flat out delicious! It’s a perfect place if you’re after a romantic evening. We will be returning. Thank you Gennaro’s for making our night extra special :)

I was celebrating my birthday with my boyfriend and chose Gennaro’s as my restaurant of choice. I was not disappointed. Gennaro’s is very romantic! The service was very good as usual. We both had cream of mushroom… It was to die for. The fettuccine with shrimp and scallops was very good as was the Ravioli with shrimp. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening out.

We ate at gennaros for my one year wedding anniversary. it was one of the greatest decisions of my marriage. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was out of this world. my wife ordered the lobster ravioli and it was delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant and elegant. The owner even served us himself and was very attentive. I will definitely be back again for our next anniversary or celebration.

Come on folks … with all these raving reviews? You obviously did not eat here prior to the new owners. It is just simply not the same — and not worth the visit. I’m writing this review, listening to another table ask «if the chef has changed?» because they do not like their meal. The service is poor. the food is average and the prices are high.
There was a post on Unilocal that said new owners recently bought the place, hired the old chef and a lot of the old wait staff is back — THIS IS NOT TRUE! It is the same terrible ownership that took over about 4 years ago and it is abysmal.
PLEASE Do Not waste your money … find another Glendale restaurant… and stop these glowing, fake reviews — the place just stinks.

Came here with a friend — as my girlfriend gifted me a wine tasting she picked up on Groupon.
It was very quiet, not many people at all… Which I love. Honestly, I don’t need other people to tell me what’s good and I’m so sick of «trendy.»
My friend and I found the staff very friendly, and having the guitarist, Roberto, play, was a nice touch. Because it wasn’t very crowded we chatted with him a little as well.
Wine & food was good… Was pretty much what I would expect to pay. And the pours on the tasting were generous.
They have a snazzy baby grand piano… And I would love to see them do some singing things there.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. This was THE WORST restaurant I have ever dined at. Went here last night with a family friend who has for years mentioned that this was a fine Italian restaurant and a must try. Mind you, it had been several years since he himself had dined here. There was three of us and we had a reservation at 5:30pm. We got there and the restaurant was completely empty, there was a couple sitting at the bar and then there was us. We sat down at what seems like a bad dream from the 80s. Then came our waiter/​owner/​bartender/​busboy/​cook. I am assuming he was it since I didn’t see anyone else. I don’t want to focus too much on attacking his character since this isn’t what this review is about. Although, it would have been pleasant had he not smoked every five minutes and walked by us smelling like an ash tray. This review is written so that the owner of this establishment gets his act together and stops ripping people off for the crap he severs and charges people.
I ordered the special for the day which was a overly seasoned salmon with a pound of garlic on top, my husband and our family friend ordered the filet mignon, all of our meals came with «roasted potatoes and vegetables». My Lord, I should have run out of the place the moment our food arrived. First off, my husbands filet was running with blood even though he asked for medium well, the so called roasted potatoes were dripping of old oil and tasted like gasoline, the vegetables, baby carrots and broccoli tasted watered down and as if they came from a freezer bag, the carrots were covered with a white film. I did the unthinkable and did not go with my gut instinct and I consumed this nasty presentation which was suppose to be quality food, I unfortunately was sick right when I left this restaurant, I can’t even tell you how many times I have gone to the restroom since last night, I believe my fish, salmon was bad. My husband has been complaining of a stomach ache even though he only ate a third of a $ 42 filet. We have not talked with our friend yet and don’t know how he is doing yet.
Honestly I am just angry that this restaurant owner thinks that it is ok to steal the publics money in this manner. I would have gotten better food had I had dinner at Cocos or Denny’s and it sure would not cost $ 230.00.
IT IS NOT OK TO SERVE CUSTOMERS SUB STANDARD FOOD AND CHARGE THEM WHAT YOU DO. You need to either get your act together or shut this place down.
Don’t waste you time, money or health at this place.

Drive by this place every night on my way home from work and have wanted to check it out many times though never really had a reason. Now, while working on a special project and having 5 people join me from out of state I recommend this place for our weekly team dinner.
So we made reservations for 6 at 530 and arrived to a completely empty restaurant. Even the host/​waiter/​owner? Wasn’t around. But that quickly changed and we were seated in the back.
Let me set the table, no pun intended, for the rest of our night. The restaurant was indeed devoid of any other customers and is quite dark inside. There is a piano and I hear they do have live music sometimes, probably not at 530 on Wednesday nights though. They have a decent cocktail menu and wine list. They have all kinda of Italian meals, ie pastas, fish, meats like veal and steak. I ordered the peppercorn crusted salmon and it was quite outstanding. One in our party ordered the appetizer Caesar salad and they prepared it from scratch table side, a touch of class that was unexpected.
Out whole group ordered something different, veal medallions, scallops, pasta… You get the idea, and everyone raved about what they were served. The food was obviously freshly prepared with quality ingredients. In case it means anything to you, as it does to an overweight guy like me. The breads they served our table before were quite delicious. The best part? My company paid for it. But seriously, it’s not an inexpensive night out. The most basic pasta dish was around $ 19, and up to $ 45 for the seafood platter or filet mignon.
I would recommend this place for a dance date night. They have a bar in the foyer (seats maybe 5?). Probably not a great spot for bringing kids. By the time we left three other groups had come in.

Stumbled into this place because it’s one of the partners for the united dining program. Such a gem! Nice décor with beautiful live piano. I ordered a red sauce scallop pasta dish, my husband ordered a white wine sauce seafood combination pasta, both were so delish! And the tiramisu is to die for. Will definitely come back!

Oh My God the food is delicious and they are open in Sundays!
The service is amazing n the taste of the food authentic italian. Great date night or any other special occasion. It reminded me of the great the service Velvet Restaurant from days of olde.
