Good Barber

I’ve been going here since 2011, and even after I moved away from that area I still go there from time to time. The cool thing is he opens on Sundays so I really like that because a lot of barbers are closed on Sundays. When my son was born he got his first hair cut of his life from here and in fact, we just got my son a hair cut from him today! I highly recommend this barber he’s the best.

I come to Glendale pretty regularly and needed a last minute haircut and this place was close by and open. It was a great experience. He uses a unique technique that came out great. I go to a lot of barbers being ex military i cant let the hair grow too long. Bonuse shave and a bit of a neck nessage too. Good stuff.

He did a really good job cutting my hair. His assistant then shampoos your hair and shaves your hairline. All for $ 17.

We’ve been coming here for almost 10 years pretty much every 3 weeks. My husband brings our two boys and they get their hair done altogether. We love the barber and his assistant. They are such caring, hard-​working, good people. Other places renting from HK go every downstairs have come and go but not this gentleman. We hope he stays for years and years. He does an Amazon job cutting men’s/boys hair and his assistant does a great job with the shave and massage. All 3 smell so good.

Choi is an A+ stud. I’m reticent to recommend him, because I don’t like to share my toys. But this man is a pro, cuts my hair like a champ, and is always smiling.

This guy was trained at the top academy in Korea for cutting hair. Man is legit.

The man is an artist. His fades are 2^nd to none. You get your neck line trimmed with a straight razor so its supper clean. You can tell this guy takes pride in his work and it shows.

Small mom and pop barber shop that caters to for the most part ‘senior’ asian men. I guess I am starting to fall into this category!
I came in to check out the place because I was long overdue for a cut and the place was close to work. The guy takes his time to cut hair which was a pleasant surprise to the typical places I go. I am usually done in 10 minutes or less for other places. This guy took probably 20 minutes to get the job done. He was frequently checking the mirror to ensure the cut was even.
Price wise $ 15 for a men’s cut is OK. However, considering that he did most of the work by scissors instead of electric clippers, I thought it was a pretty fair price. He cut the sides very evenly with scissors which left me impressed. I’ve had cuts where the sides were completed uneven with electric clippers so I had to the admit this barber was pretty adept.
Only small regret was that I wish he cut a bit shorter on the sides and back. But given this was my first experience here, I preferred to keep it to a trim. I figured if I didn’t get a ‘Super’ cut, I could grow it back sooner. My wife doesn’t need me to to look like she’s married to a 16 years old.
That said, I was left pretty happy. Nice clean cut and a reasonable price. Added plus, I get to pick up Korean food next door at the super market!

I was looking for a new barber nearer to home. I’m picky especially when it comes to fading and all I can say is that it was an honor to see this man work. Most places I’ve been to charge between $ 8 – 10 but then again I’ve encountered one problem after another. I’m sure y’all can attest to how hard it is to find a great barber. He charges $ 15 but it’s more than worth it. I’ve never seen this done before… he did my fade with SCISSORS!!! Maybe I’m easily impressed but I was amazed! I highly recommend him, very pleasant and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. I will definitely be a regular from now on and will highly recommend him to my friends and family. By the way, I’m not an older Asian man, ha.

Mostly for older Asian men, but he’s good. He takes his time cutting, and he loves to talk.
