They have not been open this past week or so. Anyone know what happened?

Had lunch here with some coworkers. I ordered the teriyaki bowl it was okay. Service was really slow and we were pretty much the only ones there. I’ll probably give it one more chance.

Bomb-ass breakfast burritos, had one yesterday added easy hash browns to round it out. Usually go to Corner Cottage but when they dont pick up their phone, or theres a 45 min wait, this place is my new fav. Thanks Jimmy!

nothing super about it, but i love little divey stands like this which makes it a-ok in my book. the crazy part is that jimmy has rye bread. try that at your subway or quiznos. everything seems a little underfilled but it’s a good reminder that generally serving portions are too big anyway. you don’t really need fries with that burger, have a bag of chips and a can of soda and leave just a little hungry at lunch as opposed to a little stuffed. and for the money, it’s hard to argue with something not pre-packaged but made to order. breakfast is the best bargain. three pancakes for $ 3 — THANKYOU!

I really like this place. It’s close to my work and I get lunch when I don’t have anything packed from home. Very fast and high quality. Reasonable price. There is a small place to sit outside.

Used to live right around the corner from this place so I’d walk here regularly and grab a quick lunch. It’s nothing that’s gonna blow you away but the burgers are pretty decent and the prices are cheap. I’ve only had a sandwich once here, and a few people I’ve gone with have gotten them before, but the general consensus is that they’re very average(like something you can just make at home). Cool little lunch spot though, and if you live or work around the area it’s definitely worth checking out.

Good chicken sandwich and cheap ! Easy to pick up. Hey I’m a mom and when it’s good, easy, reasonably priced — it works! McDonalds is not an option in my life. So places like jimmies rock! Order head of of time.

Yay little places! not a bad find, got an avocado burger. Wasn’t anything particularly special, I just like to support small businesses when I can. This is literally a small business. No, really. I’m not kidding. I think my bedroom in my apartment is bigger than this place.

Small little stand run by «jimmy» and his wife. Real food made to order and pretty cheap. Can’t beat a lunch like this. Try the steak sandwich too.

I love to walk here from work and enjoy a good clean veggie sandwich or veggie burrito and snack on the carrot back to work! Good place open for years!

Don’t waste the calories on any of the sandwiches, thery’re just average. I mean, the avocado sandwich is good, but… uh, avocado IS good, no surprise there. I would HIGHLYHIGHLY recommend sticking to the greasier items, which I think they do better(like the Breakfast Burrito and the lunch Burrito) CASHONLYYO

This place really is a hole-in-the-wall Mom and Pop establishment! They only accept cash, but that helps keep their prices low. I decided to walk over here one day for lunch since my car was being fixed. I received my burger a few minutes after I ordred it, and everything was correct in my order! One downside is that this place does not serve fries, and the closest substitute are chips. They also only serve bottled water and not tap water, but a burger, chips, bottled water combo cost me less than $ 6. Works for me!

It’s only been a little over a month since I reviewed Jimmy’s but I feel the need to revise. First and foremost, I asked for tap water to drink and I guess that’s not an option — only bottled. I never pay for water if I don’t have to so that was an enormous let down. My other new note is that my burger was tiny! It looked like it had been steamrolled, less than a cm thick, and it barely took up the entire bun. What little meat was there was still extremely tasty, but incredibly unsatisfying. This was more like a lettuce-sandwich than a burger. Huge let down :(

Only had the breakfast burrito here. I’ve ordered maybe 6 or 7 times, and its always been good. Good size, inexpensive and tasty burrito.

You have to respect Jimmys Super Lunch for what it is. Hamburger/hot dog/sanwich joint. Its really a no frills, good food, inexpensive place to stop for a quick bite. If that is what you are looking for, I say check out Jimmys the next time your passing through West Glendale. I had a chili cheeseburger with chips and a soda. At first i was bummed that they had no fries, but after i finished, i realized I really didn’t need the extra badness. The burger was not terribly special, but it did the trick. Thin patty, flavorful chili, and basic toppings(lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, mayo and mustard). For $ 5, you’ll be hard pressed to find a comparable lunch. You may find a tastier burger elsewhere, but you’ll pay more. I’ll be back.

For such a tiny place they sure have a good menu! The prices are cheap, the service fast. It’s just, I wish I could get fries… I mean burger and fries… That’s just me though, I could see how if you worked nearby, this would be a great place – it has a homemade– mom and pop feel to it.

Jimmy’s Super Lunch is pretty super. It’s a great hole-in-the-wall mom and pop place. It’s just a stand on the corner of Flower and Sonora. You walk up, place your order and stand outside for a few minutes while they make your food. There’s a little patio to sit down at, but most people get it to go. The burgers are delicious and cheap. A combo meal with burger, chips, and drink only costs around $ 5. The only thing that holds me back from giving it 5 stars is they don’t make fries. Bring cash.
