Évaluation du lieu : 4 Lower East Side, Milwaukee, WI
I’ve walked by Soma dozens of times at Bayshore Mall, but I decided to actually give them a try after a woman working at Athleta recommended them to me(and a random shopper seconded her recommendation). Soma’s bras are a far cry from the barely there, overly sexy, and overpriced nonsense that, for example, places like Victoria’s Secret market as bras. While they do have interesting patterns for their underclothes, their bras are definitely more focused on fit and functionality. I was a bit turned off in the beginning because I felt like perhaps I was a bit too young to be shopping there — but really, that’s just the part of me that has VS mentality of what a bra and underclothes in general should be like. I fought my urge to leave and agreed to be measured and fit by their friendly saleswoman. The first three or four bras didn’t work out, but the last one fit like a charm. Super comfortable, flattering, and — the best part — you couldn’t see the cups under my shirt. This is nothing short of miraculous, because ALL my previous bras from VS had this problem, even the one I bought recently with the hefty price tag of $ 65. So I was rather impressed. In the end, their sale of two for $ 59 couldn’t be beat, so I left with two bras and a new appreciation from Soma. The woman who helped me was very nice and patient with me, and I’m really glad I stopped in and stuck it out.
