Really good tacos. Tasty salsa. They shorted us a taco and my boyfriend called and they said to bring the receipt in within the next few days and they gave us the missing taco… plus one more. I respect that they fixed their mistake and tried to make it right.

99 cent fish tacos on Wednesday! And they’re delicious(not overwhelmed with crema like most places). Fast and friendly service.

99¢ fish tacos every Wednesday! These fish tacos are delicious. I also get the fish ceviche, which is only $ 2.99 and pretty tasty. If you get the fish tacos, your order will be ready in under 2 minutes even when they’re busy. They need bigger water cups… I have to get up to fill my 6 oz. styrofoam cup 5 times.

Gonna go ahead and give 3 stars. Why? Because not my preference of taco style. Not your traditional onion and cilantro. They put cabbage and pico degio. Ordered the combo plate. The beans were good !! Rice … Not so good. The meat was excellent !!! Al pastor was great ! And the tortillas look hand made. Also a plus. They have a very good selection of fish tacos and shrimp tacos. But that’s not my bag. But I would recommend coming and trying it out.

Great little taco shop. Wed is usually .99 fish tacos. I usually go for 3 tacos, 2 fish and a carne asada. The tacos are baja style and are very good. I am making my way through the menu and tried the ceviche. The ceviche was very fresh and was excellent. They also have those yellow seasoned peppers which add a great pop to the tacos. Cabo Tacos is a simple place and they do it very well. Friendly staff and some of the best tacos I have had.

Great fresh authentic Mexican food. I had #3 which consisted of one fish taco one shrimp taco rice and beans. I also added 1 Carne asada taco. It was honestly really fresh and tasty, my friend had the ceviche tostadas and he was in love. Giving it 4 stars because 1) chips and salsa are not free. 2) no salsa bar, there was only like and radishes. And 3) they had to enter my card manually which took forever and there was a line behind me. But overall very delicious food and if I’m in the area I will be coming back.

So after my somewhat disappointed 2nd visit at the Donut Man, I was craving for a quick meal and that was when I came across Cabo Taco. The staff was pretty chill and there was even a HDTV showing a soccer game. Initially I wanted to order horchata and the staff told me that the drink wasn’t ready — a bit of a bummer, but I do like his honesty. Menu: Burritos, tacos(fish, grilled fish, shrimp, grilled shrimp, cabo, grilled cabo, or carne asada [pick either chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, or al pastor]), cocktails, combos, tostadas, hot soups(caldos), ceviche, quesadillas, sopes, etc. *** Taco de Carne Asada(carnitas + barbacoa, each $ 1.59): Carnitas tasted juicy and slightly spicy, but flavor wasn’t very strong. On the flip side, barbacoa had a much stronger flavor. As few Unilocalers have mentioned, I also agree and recommend barbacoa over carnitas. Unfortunately, I didn’t like corn bread that much in both cases.(3.75÷5) Cabo taco(shrimp and fish, $ 3.49 — not exactly the same as fish taco): Now cabo taco was great — amazing fish quality(almost felt-in-your-mouth) with lettuce & sauces. Their cabo taco tasted just as good as fish taco at Tacos Baja Ensenada( ) … except cabo taco was 2 times more expensive.(4.75÷5) *** If I live around this area, then I would actually come back here for more cabo tacos. No need to drive all the way to East LA for good fish tacos. P. S. — $ 0.99 fish taco on Wednesday.

BEST fish tacos and best sea food I’ve ever had! I come here religiously with my family every week! Their grilled fish tacos and the roasted yellow peppers are my favorite! I could eat 4 tacos and still want more! I’ve also tried their fish ceviche, super yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I really enjoyed the fish and shrimp tacos. The tacos are a bit on the small size, however. The beans and rice were so-so. I added an extra grilled fish taco and chips after my initial order. If you’re hungry, you’ll probably need at least 3, as I did. The hot sauce that came with the tacos had a nice spicy kick. All were washed down with hibiscus tea. They have a TV inside and will supply a WiFi passwupon request. The guy running the cashier was very friendly and made sure to let me know about the free refills on all drinks.

I have been here a few times now and I really have nothing but good things to say! I love the fish ceviche, and the fish tacos are so good! They’re comparable to taco nazo, except I think the fish might be a little bigger here, and they are definitely under $ 2 a taco. On wednesday they have fish tacos for $ 1, I haven’t tried them on that day yet, but I don’t mind paying the extra change for them. I enjoy this place, the carne asada was tasty and I don’t really fancy anyones carne asada. I am thinking this is going to be my new taco spot, local, cheap, and the staff is really friendly! If you have a chance, stop by and try it!

All the food is delicious and fresh! Here’s the breakdown of what I’ve ordered: –The Cabo taco is to die for! It’s fish and shrimp on a flour tortilla that’s bigger than their other tacos. I’ll have to come back on Wednesdays for their 99¢ fish tacos. –I’d never had barbacoa before, so I got the barbacoa taco and it tasted like pot roast. It was a good pot roast-tasting taco; I just don’t like pot roast. No fault on their part. –The boyfriend got a chicken taco, carnitas taco, and shrimp taco. He loved his food and even wanted to come back the same day for dinner! –I can’t handle the heat of hot sauce, so they put it on the side for me, but my bf loved it and took our second container home. –I had the chicken sopes a few days ago, and they were very tasty, although the bread was a tad bit too oily. I’ll get them again sometime, but tacos will be my go-to order. –I had a horrible horchata at another place, so the delicious horchata here made everything better. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I ordered 4 tacos + the Cabo taco + 1 horchata, and our order came out to just over $ 13. We thought that was a great deal. They do have a unisex restroom in the back. It was clean and fully stocked when I used it. Plenty of seating. I’ve gone twice during lunch hours, and there have only been a couple other customers there. The lady cashier is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. I only said a few words to her, but her warm personality instantly brightens your day and makes you feel at home. They’re open Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-8pm. Suggestions: –Almost all of the tables were dirty last time I went, so make sure you keep up with that. –The menu is awkwardly placed. Instead of making customers walk into a corner where there is only room for a couple people anyway, maybe it’d be better over on the big wall with bar stools? Not a big deal.

I wouldn’t be surprised that some of these 5 star reviews are posted by some of the relatives or friends of this restaurant. So, I ordered the #1 special. Two fish taco, rice, beans, & small drink. The rice is bland. The beans is bland. The fish tacos, they could of been bigger. Everything could of been bigger. The salsa bar, well they have the yellow peppers, lime, however no salsa? Que? No salsa at the salsa bar. The salsa is automatically added to your taco. The parking is horrible. They have a private lot in the rear with some back unit that people live & occupy. It’s a small lot with a handful of parking. If you drive a big vehicle like a van or truck, you are better off parking somewhere else.

Parking stinks! I feel like Evil Knievel getting in, and to get out you have to be Houdini. But oh the rewards of being inside this tiny little taco hut. I had 3 tacos: carne asada(3⁄5), somewhat flavorless, even witth chopped chilies on top. Fish(4⁄5), very nice, puts Wahoo TOSHAME. And the champ, barbacoa(5⁄5). I don’t recall the price, but it was not expensive and I was very happy. They ran out of horchata, the bathroom was out of service, and maybe other stuff, but I didn’t care. My barbacoa had me bathed in taco happiness.

This literally is THEBEST fish taco place ! When I saw the sign saying that they closed, it felt like a serious lost. I didn’t have the closure I needed and I turned to other places for my fix, none if which compared. When I saw they were opening again, I think I was so excited I might have put it on the Facebook and snapchatted their construction progress to friends and family. Now its been three days after their Grand Opening and I’ve been back four times. I use to only get the fish tacos. But decided to also try the fish ceviche tostada. OMG! THE best ceviche ever. So fresh !!! So I’ll probably be back! THEYHAVECOKE A COLAPRODUCTS!!! The grand opening wait was about 45 minutes so worth it there was a long line of committed customers. Today, Monday after the Grand Opening the wait was a mere 5 minutes. FYI the cool cashier is the owner and her husband is the cook!
