Each time I eat here I ask myself why I don’t come more often. The food is amazing, service is attentive, fast and friendly, prices are low considering food quality and quantity, drink glass are huge, refills are frequent, atmosphere is excellent, outside seating, inside seating, boothes, tables, wine, beer, dining specials, weeknight specials and now they offer free weekday coffee with breakfast. Even the disposable paper napkins are of such quality that they are more like cloth than paper. All this great stuff and my excellent lunch was only $ 4.36 because they emailed me a ten dollar voucher for my birthday. I remember walking on these hardwood plank floors 35 years ago when this location was the town hardware store. LOVE this place! A Glendora treasure.

Breakfast on Valentines day and will say our waitress was great but trying to get a table not great with many open tables. Food was okay not great especially for the price. The reason I am giving two stars is this, I ordered blueberries for my pancake combo and was charged $ 2.50 for a tiny plastic shot of canned blueberries. No mention of the cost or that they’re canned when I ordered. Please. For mediocre food there are other places to spend my $

Good food and the service was exceptional. Christina was outstanding! Only complaint would be the deserts, holy cow they are terrible! Do not ask for the cookies, they are awful! Famous Amous cookies put this these dried out cow pies to shame! Stay away from the deserts!

This review is for the breakfast. Do you like a ridiculous amount of food in your plate that even five people can’t manage to finish? Do you love dry eggs with a greenish tint? Do you want your whole wheat toast to already be soggy and drowning in a boatload of butter? If so, you’ve come to the right place! I barely touched any of my food because if the taste of something wasn’t offensive, it was just plain bland. I wasn’t asking for much and I wasn’t going in with expectations of a modern brunch-y spot with bells and whistles. I just wanted some decent typical American breakfast food. I was still hungry so I was forced to order some fruit to not pass out from hunger on my walk back home. Luckily the fruit didn’t suck. Maybe because it’s almost impossible to f*** up pouring out some berries into a bowl.

Came here after going to the Woodglen Women’s Medical Center. This was a treat to me after having a mammogram and blood drawn(I was feeling a little weak-pulling and poking). I ordered 2-Flap Jacks, 2-Sausage Patties(coffee and water & Lemon). Hospitality was SUPERB! Ongoing to have to do a DOGGIE Bag, I’m full and have only eaten ¼ of everything.

I’ve had catering from this location many times and they never disappoint. They are always on time and the food is still hot and delicious when arrives. They just catered a work lunch for us on Thursday and we had, roasted chicken, baked beans, cabbage salad and rolls with butter. Oh and of course their homemade potato chips. Everything was fresh and we had a happy working lunch.

We came upon this place walking in downtown glendora! Such a great friendly feeling walking in! It was a Sunday and they had a beautiful Bloody Mary bar and $ 3 mimosas ! I ordered a burger and it was beyond delicious and bigger than my head! It was amazing my friends ordered the pull pork sandwich with a side of soup ! Everything was delicious! If your having the Olympic burger definitely have amazing left overs ! Definitely going back !!

Loved it!!! My first visit here today, infact I wasn’t even hungry but I smelled the BBQ and it lured me in while I was walking down the street with my puppy. I took a seat outside and Suzi the server was nice enough to bring my Chihuahua a little bowl of water and put it on the table. Killer authentic BBQ menu, everything you could want or need. Their BBQ sauce is amazing as well, they offer a bunch of lunch specials that are about $ 8 bucks and huge platters, they also offer a la carte BBQ. My puppy and I decided to go for the Tri-Tip, my Mom ordered the Half a Roasted Chicken lunch special. I must say my Mom had enough food on her plate to last her for days, she ended up ordering my Dad another plate to take home to him for dinner, so clearly we were won over… Do to the fact that I wasn’t hungry, I didn’t get to try enough of the food, so I will need to make some return visits, preferably with a large group of friends so that I can try a little bit of everything. If you are looking for a great BBQ spot, you have found it here!

Sit in Rachel’s area! She is an amazing waitress. She was sweet, attentive and informative. I ordered the try tip plate. I got a chicken tortilla soup on the side as well as barbecue beans and mashed potatoes. The tri tip was cooked well. it had a smoky taste but I was hoping for a little bit more flavor rather than just it been smoked. we also ordered Friday. Those were actually prepared pretty well. We enjoyed the flavor very much. The chicken tortilla soup had to be the best that I’ve ever had. You must try it. Overall it was a good experience, but I’m sure i’m sure I won’t be back anytime soon for barbecue.

Came to dinner with my boyfriend. There used to be a location near our apartment but it sadly closed a few months ago so we jumped on the freeway to get our fix. I got the batterless fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and he got a tri tip sandwich with chips and corn. I’m glad to say the drive was worth the it. The food was as good as the other location. I would recommend this place to anyone who just wants good food. It is great and the service/owner are very nice. We will be back soon.

Our usual spot whenever in the area. After eights years they are still just as good, just as consistent with their service. You’ll never feel rushed here. For appetizer, go with the old-fashion onion basket or sweet potatoes served with brown sugar. Makes all the sense. Entrees, the baby back pork rib is decent, meaty with just the right amount of bbq sauce. However, it is not close to southern smoking goodness. Roasted chicken is always moist. The tri-tip is a hit and miss. I highly recommend the red cabbage salad as one of your sides. It is just as good as Clearman’s. And for dessert, perhaps it’s seasonal but they do have pie à la mode. Or you can grab one of their pre-packaged cookies.

Everything tastes great! The service is excellent all the way around but Nicole was our server twice… she’s top in my book. Everyone is friendly. We love the food. My favorite is the roast turkey sandwich with pesto. We have become regulars :)

We decided to come here after another place we tried in town had such bad service we couldn’t even get a glass of water offered to us. We walked In and we were greeted by Tina with a warm smile and a friendly hello. We asked if we could sit outside, it was a beautiful day and she said, sit anywhere you like I will be right out. She came out brought menus, answered some questions and the entire time, even though more people showed up, Tina was available for our every need checking on us often. The food was amazing, great taste, I wanted chicken and tri tip. The chicken was vey moist and tasty. The tri tip was so tender I forget to us the knife I was brought and the BBQ sauce was off the charts. The home made chips were done of the best I’ve had and the coleslaw was really good. The salad were amazing with organic greens and the overall experience was worth it. Tina is an employee others should emulate, the service was made this recovery experience from that other place just what we needed. Give this place a try, everything was great.

My first experience was ok. Great service and the food was good, not amazing but it was good. This time around, my experience wasn’t all that great. First, I found a bug in my iced tea. The server brought me a new iced tea, no big deal, I understand things like that happen. Then when the food was brought out, there was a piece of hair in my potato salad. Told the waitress, she took the potato salad and brought out a new order of potato salad. At this point I couldn’t bring myself to eat. My appetite was gone. I was so grossed out. My date, however, was hungry and didn’t care. He ate his meal. He’s big on BBQ and rated this place TWO stars. The food could have had more flavor. For our inconvenience, the waitress gave us a batch of cookies. Honestly, they should’ve given us a discount at the very least. I didn’t go there for cookies, I went there for dinner and still left hungry because I couldn’t eat. I won’t be returning. This was just MY personal experience. The best restaurant on the block would be Lucabella for Italian food & wine… AMAZING. For sushi and sake, go right across the street to Sushi & I and for American food & beer, walk across the street to T. Phillips. Those are the best choices.

Just hosted a bridal shower here. Great service, delicious food and nice and clean location. There is no side room so you don’t have full privacy but everything else is perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the food. Our guests were served buffet style and the quality was great. Would definitely host a party here again. Thanks Frisellas!

Hidden gem that’s for sure. After being slightly disappointed that this restaurant we originally wanted to visit was closed, lucky for us we found this place! Let me just tell you i forgot I was disappointed when I stuffed my face here . Their lunch special is a steal! I got the ½ chicken BBQ sandwich that came with chips and a side of your choice for only $ 8 !!!

When it says tri tip sandwich… I expect a nice piece of a steak. Even if the steak is a think cut steak. Not the thinly cut slices of roast beef for a sandwich. Look at the photo… it’s gotta be shredded beef and warm at best So was the rest of the food warm. The service was pretty good at the start. But then she disappeared to the other side of the restaurant behind a 3 foot wall… and that was pretty much the last we saw of her. A small 3 foot wall divides the restaurant right in half right down the middle. WHY? What a waste of a wall and money. Next time I’ll sit on the other side of the wall and maybe get faster service. Ooooh, and… I loved the four little grapes in the middle. Hope you could spare that. PROS: potato chips red cabbage salad. kinda like Northwood’s Inn or the Boat in Rosemead crispy french fries came out perfect for all of us to share CONS: warm Tri tip sandwich passed off as a steak
