This place is amazing! Marcos is incredible!
I got my hair done at a salon near my house in Long Beach lets just say it was a mistake and I cried! I wanted an ashy blonde look, and I got an orange base with highlights.
I called Marcos hoping he could fix the damage that was done. Bleach on top of bleach is never good for the hair and I was a bit worried my hair would fall out. As soon as I walked in Marcos we greeted me with a smile and examined my hair. He took the time to explain each step. Explained what had gone wrong with my hair. He definitely knows his stuff! I am very, very happy with my hair, all thanks to Marcos! I drove over an hour to see him and I would do it again! He restored my hair and gave me the look I wanted.
I definitely recommend you check him out!

Gina Wann at Luxe Salon is a «shear» artist! I have been her client every month for 27 years (she started very young!) That is over 325 perfect cuts. If you are looking for the perfect cut and/​or color or stylist, I highly recommend Gina! I wish I knew how to attach photos, you could see why I am bragging about her.

I was recommended here from a family member and decided I would give them a try. I wanted to do a full color and highlights and I’ve called the salon 5 days in a row left messages with a call back number and never got a call back. Apparently they don’t want new clients had to take my business elsewhere I wasn’t going to keep waiting around hoping to get a call back for an appointment.

Went to Shannon after reading Unilocal reviews about how good she. I first made a consultation appointment with her. When we met I showed her a old picture of me and explained that I wanted to go back to my original color and she made it happen! She listens and is very sweet.

Went to the salon for Lisamarie and her assistant Audrey on the recommendation of my wife. Had been going to barbers but was looking for a change in style and wanted a fresh perspective. Heard that they had fun and worked well together. It’s true. Lisamarie has a great attitude and demeanor. Audrey is as sweet as they come. Both are efficient but not in a hurry. I like to converse and the conversation is always good (if that’s how you like to do it). I’m sure you could sit there quietly if you wanted to and all would be fine with them. Have had four visits now for haircuts. Since I’ve only been there for haircuts I can’t speak to much else other than Lisamarie’s cut and style ability. Suffice it to say the outcome has been satisfactory each and every time.

This week I went and got a haircut from Gina Wann.
So I’ve been to tons of salons locally, so I can say this from experience that not only is Luxe and beautifully designed salon, but Gina is amazing at what she does!
She listened to me and asked me several questions prior to just diving in. She took the time to understand what I wanted and then she nailed it! Honestly, I’m stoked about it and will definitely be back!
If you’re a guy in the local area and want an above average experience, book an appointment with Gina! You will not be disappointed!

Gina Wann has been taking care of my hair for over 20 years. She is awesome! I have aged more gracefully under her care! She keeps me looking up-​to-​date and stylish. I highly recommend Gina.

Love going to Luxe. Gina Wann is my stylist. She is great at cutting hair and giving me exactly what I want… or if she thinks that what i’m asking for won’t work for me, she is great at offering an alternative that fits my hair type and face.
Gina is especially good as a colorist. She always gets the color right for my skin tones and gives me the perfect color! I’m always happy when I leave her chair!

Gina is amazing! Before going to Luxe I had a bleach job gone oh so wrong. Gina came to the rescue and did an amazing job restoring my hair and making it look how I wanted. I can’t wait for my next visit!

I am sooooo glad I followed Marcos to his new hair digs!.. If you are serious about being blonde then Marcos is your man. My hair is naturally ash brown yet somehow he lifts me to a beautiful platinum with no brassy shades. And my hair keeps growing and doesn’t break off. You must see Marcos if you are seeking blonde ambition!

Just got back from a major hair makeover with Melinda Martinez at Luxe Salon! I came in with box-​dyed near-​black hair and she was able to get me down the two shades lighter that I wanted in less time and less $ than I expected.
Anyone who goes from dark to light knows that it’s not an easy transition. I once tried to go from black to brown at the fancy hair salon Jennifer Aniston goes to in Beverly Hills it was an epic fail there. That stylist had to keep re-​toning it, and it never came out right.
But, in little ol’ unassuming Glendora, Melinda nailed it!!! I didn’t think it was possible due to the condition of my hair, so she was a true miracle worker!

Marcos Marcos Marcos! He’s the best, I’ve been following him everywhere for 9 years! I highly recommend him!

Got my hair cut today by Gina and she did a fantastic job! She took the time to listen to me about what I wanted and didn’t want and she delivered! I would absolutely recommend her and see her again.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Marcos for about a year now… And let me tell you he’s done some amazing work on my hair!!! I love how he’s so attentive and knows what you want. :) and he’s so friendly and nice. :) always makes you feel so amazing when leaving the salon! Erika!!!

My mom Bertha went into Luxe for the very first time on Thursday and Melinda did color & cut, my mom was very pleased.

Ok, my hair stylist is Marcos he just move to this salon few days ago from salon2one8, I will follow him anywhere he goes because he is the best, he is the only one that does my hair in one hour wash, hair cut and bow dryer, (I have A LOT and LONG hair) Yeah sounds crazy but he does an awesome job every time.
He is also super nice and friendly :0)
I believe this salon will get better reviews because of him :0)

Salon: Funky Décor, industrial yet chic feel with great lighting and chilled ambience… But at the end of the day… A salon is only as good as it hairdressers that brings me to Melynda Martinez…
Melynda: in a word Awesome! Having straight hair, I have found it hard to find a consistently good hair stylist. My wife recommended Melynda having had her hair cut there before. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Melynda took one look at the hair and went to work, not only fixing the disasters of precious haircuts but styling it the way it needed to be. Now that I live in Australia I try to stretch my haircuts out until I fly back to the US. First stop is always to see Melynda at Luxe.

I absolutely love Melinda! I came in with split ends and damaged
hair and she shaped my hair in to the cutest cut I have ever received
and I’ve been to many salons. On top of my damaged hair that she
made healthy and strong again, she was extremely friendly and professional!

I’m telling your right now, book an appointment with Claudia Davatolhagh. She’s kicked a** on my hair. I was a Splat hair color home job victim and pretty much ruined my hair. Claudia went in fixed, bleached, lifted and got my hair the color to what I wanted and then some!
4 – 5 hours I emerged as a Gorgeous mermaidian with electric blue base melting in a rich deep purple and highlights of teal.
I’ve named my color «purple fizz»
My hair came out in beautiful condition and gets better as it fades. NEVER again will I do home coloring. I’ve stalked Claudia’s work for months and it was Unilocal that lead me to finally book an appt. with her. (and IG)
She’s awesome, and the salons is beautiful, upscale and very relaxing and HIP. Especially for little Glendora :)
