Muse Salon

I find myself highly irritated with the Muse right now. I called the salon last week on several occasions, to 3 different numbers and even left a message on the phone number that comes up on this Unilocal page, with no return call from anyone.
Now, I dont get my hair cut/​done very often. But when I do, I have always had a good experience coming here. I initially had my hair cut with Jeanette (one of the numbers I called with no response) and more recently with Allysha (the 2^nd number I called, also with no response). Both times were good experiences. So, I dont know whats going on over there but it seriously makes me not want to go back. I guess they have too much business, they can afford to ignore customers. I ended up going to Blown Away in San Dimas. They can be a bit pricey, but at least they pick up the phone.

I had my hair colored and cut with Jeanette today. Not only she is very sweet but she cuts with precision and care. Also, fabulous with color. Thanks Jeanette… great work!

If you want compliments about your hair color, go to Jeanette. For the last several months I have been receiving compliments on the color from a variety of people. The color has been consistent and that has made a difference.

I have had my last 3 appointments with Jeanette and I always walk out the salon door feeling like I own the world. Jeanette has a knack for knowing just what hair needs and how to make the most flattering cuts and colors. Her baylayge technique with baby highlights is time consuming and is definitely well worth it. She takes her time, does a fantastic job and is very personable. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I never thought I would go to a salon to get my hair cut. Aubrey has been cutting my hair for the last 6 months. For the last 8 years I’ve had the same look. Aubrey decided to change my hair. It made me feel more confidence with my hair. Would recommend going to Aubrey for any men’s haircut.

I came in a few weeks ago with problem hair, over processed by another stylist. I had read the reviews and was very happy to be teamed up with Allysha who had great reviews. She really knows what she’s doing and came up with a great solution for my hair. She made my very frizzy, over processed hair look great and I’m super happy. Needless to say I’ll be going back soon again and will without hesitation recommend her to all my friends. Thanks Allysha and see you soon

6 months check in because I cannot get enough of my hair stylist ! Allysha Watkins, exceeded my expectations of a hair stylist ! I love every single experience I have when I walk into muse salon, it’s so relaxing and Allysha always makes sure to offer me a drink when I sit down. I’ve been with Allysha for about 8 months or so and she’s made me the happiest blonde ever! Keep in mind that I started out with black hair when I started this whole process. She’s made every visit a huge step closer to becoming the bleach blonde I am today. She takes her time which is very important so you don’t end up with damaged hair! I recommend her to all my family and friends, as a matter of fact she works on my mother as well! So professional and amazing, make sure to ask for Allysha when visiting muse salon!

Allysha is extremely unprofessional! I paid close to $ 300 dollars to get my hair bleach platinum. BUT, THAT’S NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR! I asked for a cool blonde with a lot of dimension throughout. And I left her seat looking like a Q-​tip. I thought maybe since the change was so drastic, I just needed time to adjust. But no, I couldn’t get over how awful it looked. So when I text her, the next morning saying how it isn’t what I wanted, she had the nerve to say «I can add highlights & lowlights for $ 75» UMM NO! I shouldn’t have to pay MORE MONEY for her to fix her own mistake!!!
It gets better… STAY WITH ME PEOPLE!
So I texted her back and I was like «I’m just a student and I paid so much yesterday. Is that really the price you are going to give me?»
So she went from $ 50 to $ 35. But this isn’t a negotiation! She ruined my hair! She should have fixed it for free!
So once I told her «No thanks. I’ll find a new stylist» She said ‘okay I’ll fix it for free…‘
I just think that is so unprofessional… She overcharges me, ruins my hair, & tries ripping me off.
And BONUS!!!
SHE BLEACHED MY SHIRT AND CHEMICALLY BURNED MY SCALP.

I love love LOVE my hair done by Allysha! This was my second time coming to do a cut and brunette balayage and she has been on point each time! I literally came out looking like I had a Victoria’s Secret model’s hair. I contacted her two days before and she quickly slipped me in and even agreed to meet with me at 8am in the morning! Her focus and eye for color is definitely a diamond in the rough. She really knows about hair, gave me great advice on how to care for my hair, and pointed out common mistakes. She surpass my expectations each time! I am never letting anyone else touch my hair except Allysha!

Well, I tried to do my hair at home and things didn’t go so well! I went in with weird yellow, fried, straw hair and left with beautiful sandy blond mermaid hair, thanks to Allysha! She is meticulous! I will definitely not be doing my own hair again but I definitely WILL be back to see Allysha! The salon is clean and nice, and everyone working there is friendly!

I have been going to Jeanette for years! She always does an amazing job listening to what I want and then it comes out just the way I pictured it in my head. I trust her so much with my hair and I am a client for life :)

I went to Allysha with a hair mission, which was to take my long blonde hair and transform it into a refreshed healthy looking hairstyle. I brought her some celebrity examples (shout out to Kim K and Ciara!) but in all honesty she didn’t even need them. She over exceeded my expectations and I left there feeling amazing! I highly recommend her :)

I was trying to find a new hair stylist that was close by to me. And since I moved into my first home I needed something more permanent and convenient. And I found her. I love how my hair turned out. This review is long overdue. All thanks to my hairstylist Allysha! She is super amazing and is great at her craft. With the cut, coloring, and style everything was on point. She is in concentration mode when doing my hair. I loved her full attention. So there are no walk ins you need to set up an appointment. And this lady sure is popular because she gets booked quick. She was very knowledgeable and patient with all the questions I had asked her. I wanted to try this whole balayage craze, but I didn’t want to get too crazy. So I opted for balayage that was brownish blonde with a darker base. I was so obsessed with the completed look. I failed to mention I also chopped off like 6 inches. My hair looks so healthy and shiny. Thank you Allysha. Can’t wait for you to work your magic again in the near future!!!

Jeannette was super amazing, very sweet and took care of my us on a Sunday Father’s Day weekend, which we really appreciated. Great work, very cute inside, clean and modern.

If you’re looking for beachy, SoCal, RamirezTran salon hair but you don’t want to pay $$$$$$ then allysha is the perfect stylist !
She’s knowledgeable and right on trend with everything. I was telling her how I was obsessed with the habit salon in Arizona on Instagram (they are amazing but obviously super far) and she actually took a class with the person that taught the habit salon how to do extension!
Anyways I feel she’s reasonable priced compared to LA area/​beverly hills. And she’s patient and really talented when it comes to color and cut

Natalie D. Is thee best!!! I’ve been going to her for over 2 years now and she is so absolutely talented! The girl to see for balayage highlights… The salon is cute and very clean! Book in advance with Natalie, as she is so good she’s also very busy!

This place is great! The people are very hospitable and caring. Especially Natalie, she worked her magic and I loved how my hair turned out. It was my first time doing anything to my hair so I went in very nervous with a lot of reservations! Natalie was so sweet, she listened to what I wanted and worked with my needs. I am in love with my look, she even gave me some pointers I can do at home. Thank you!

I seen Natalie for the 1^st time today for a haircut and color correction. I absolutely LOVE how it came out! I’ve found out the hard way not everyone can do «ombré» let alone balayage hair correctly so I’ve been apprehensive with trying out a new stylist/​salon (it’s been a while).
After seeing her work on Instagram I decided to text her on her availability and although she was booked until the end of November I asked her if she can please let know if someone happens to cancel before then. Luckily for me I was able to see her today :)
I was @ the salon for a long time but given the length /​thickness of my hair I really had no problem with it. The price I felt was fair also given the amount of work she had to do .
I love that she listened to exactly what I wanted while giving her expert opinion which of course I listened to.
She’s friendly, professional and funny. I definitely found my new «hair girl».

I was looking for a particular look a dirty root ombré (full highlights and high ombré about 2 inches from your roots) and saw a groupon for this salon. I checked the reviews and saw all the good feedback. I made an appointment with stylist Jeanette. I told her want I was looking for over the phone and she instantly grasped the concept and made it sound so easy.
–Update (5÷27÷2014), I have had no one else but Jeanette color my hair since our first appointment and 3 appointments later I still love my hair! The color is great and blonde tone is perfect. And I literally get compliments on it everywhere! Planning on coming back again for a touch up in July.
