Pretty good I like it I wish they serve breakfast longer though I do like the bagels and lox breakfast I got here maybe once or twice a month

Upgrading to 5 stars. Really love this place, it’s quick, service is exceptional, everyone is nice and the food is amazing. I altered my order and my waitress was more than happy to accommodate it with a smile. Lauren was our server, but that didn’t matter because the entire staff is readily available and willing to help. If you are in the Glendora area it is definitely worth your time to stop by and enjoy a nice breakfast without the headache of huge waits and a noisy crowd.

I live less than a mile from this place and used to come here all the time. That was many years ago. Then they changed owners and things went downhill. We come back about once a year now in the hope that things have improved. They have not. My daughter and I ate here on Mothers Day and it was just the definition of disappointment. The iced tea had that unpleasant, weird taste that sometimes happens at fast food places. The quiche was overcooked. My daughter’s eggs and sausage were bland and cold. On the up side, the fruit cup was ok and her biscuits and gravy were good. The waitress was very friendly and I hope she finds a better place to work. The saddest part was when we first arrived. There were only 2 other people in the place(that seats around 50), and the owner acts like we are an inconvenience when we don’t have reservations. I don’t know how they are getting so many favorable reviews if they are always like this.

It felt so good to come back to the village eatery, and experience the same great quality in food. My favorite is the Monte Cristo, with the side of potatoes. The waitress was nice and tentative, and food was out in a timely manner. My son and I enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast, and we will be back.

Awful Food!!! Service was good but the breakfast food is awful. I ordered egg, English muffin, bacon and country fries. Egg was under cooked. Country fries are frozen potato tots with UNCOOKED onions and bell pepper thrown in. Bacon was well done(fine with me) English muffin was barely heated and cold by the time I got it. Coffee is comparable to WWII Ertzatz coffee. No taste at all. Don’t waste your time or money

What a great little place in the heart of Old Glendora. Food, service, and quality is Really Good. When the larger venues in the area get too crowded, this place is the perfect place to get right in for breakfast or lunch. They are also open for dinner on Wednesday nights ONLY, which is part of their charm, for a small town eatery. Great job guys!

You kidding? That’s what you serve for Beef Dip Au Jus? Beef was bad and Au Jus was Gravy. $ 12.00 a sandwich! You kidding?! Arby’s is better. Steak fries that taste like the oil they are fried in. My friend an I forced ourselves to eat ½ our sandwiches. Half! We filled up on greasy Fries and left. The waitress was the best thing in that place. So many menu items have New York in the name. Please take that off! Your Beef Dip sucks, don’t give New York food a bad name. Your not from there because I asked, and you wouldn’t know a New York Beef Dip with Au jus from a Pine Cone dipped in canned cheese. My friend and I agreed when we left. Not Good.

I went here for breakfast and ordered the country breakfast. It was okay it consisted of eggs, gravy and biscuits and your choice of bacon or sausage. The sitting area outside was nice. I need to come here for lunch and try there lunch items.

First time visit and will definitely be back. We went for lunch, I had pastrami dip and the wife had the beef dip. Both were piled high with meat served in a krusty bun. I really liked the harder bun which softened up nicely in the au ju dip. They offered different sides than just fries. I had the pasta salad and it was great. I had recently purchased an electronic Entertainment coupon book during daughters school fundraiser that gave us $ 9 off the meal as well. Will soon go back to use the other coupon for 20% off the meal. Coupon accessible right on my phone.

Really cute place, awesome selection of breakfast food. The pumpkin pancake was delicious. The plaza French toast is a must try. Over all really good food! The only thing that bothered me was the over cooked bacon, I’m not into burnt, chip like bacon. But I’d definitely go again :)

Came in for breakfast, got the simple country breakfast. Service was nice, but very slow and actually pretty bad. Took forever to get some things, napkins, water etc. The place itself, nothing special, but not bad. Having grown up in Glendora, I liked the local paintings of Glendora landmarks on the walls(for sale etc.). It was clean. The food… blech. My eggs were buttery and had an off taste to them. My biscuits and gravy were a travesty. The bacon… honestly was pretty good… but one piece had an off taste… Price isn’t too shabby.

This place is very good and the owner’s are very nice! Great breakfast, I always get the veggie sausage. It’s yummy and not many places have it. Good fresh brewed tropical iced tea and delicious burgers!

Help and the food was awesome! Friendly efficient staff made for a nice lunch with family. Had the Irish Potato Nachos to start and a Party Melt that ended up coming home. Way too much food but my eyes were larger than my stomach. The Irish Nachos are a keeper and I would suggest trying them out. I will continue dining here!

This is my families go to spot in glendora. The biscuits and gravy are delicious. Warm fresh baked biscuits and made from scratch gravy makes it a constant craving of mine. My wife loves the sandwiches for lunch. We go about 3 times a month and everytime it’s the same experience, friendly staff, welcoming environment and the location is perfect at the end of downtown away from the crowd.

Very friendly staff. Decent food. I like this place, perhaps not as much as Ed’s down the street, but way more than the Village Vault! The staff couldn’t have been nicer nor more helpful. The food was good, my wife thought it was AMAZING. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Ok. We’ve been here a few times and the food has always been great. Today, however, was a different story. My oatmeal was super dry as if it has been in the microwave too long. When I asked for another oatmeal, it seems like they waited 5 minutes and brought out the same instant microwave oatmeal with milk this time. The owners explanation was it’s thick cut oatmeal. Look, I’m the child of a full time working mom, I know what microwave oatmeal looks like. Then, my husbands biscuits were super hard in the middle. Again, as if they had been in the microwave too long. Anyway, not a great showing today. They get 3 stars based on previous experiences.

We love this place. My family started coming after church, and we’ve expanded to other days, too. Fantastic oat bran pancakes, standardly good omelets and solid breakfast specials. Bacon is always done exactly right. The Florentine Benedict is lovely; I get it without the bread and it’s awesome. Tropical iced tea and coffee are both good and they keep your cup filled. Service is stellar, caring, and friendly. We enjoy sitting outside so we can enjoy the sculpted trees along Glendora Ave.(There is a «Free the Trees!» campaign but so far it has not succeeded in returning the trees from their current role as weird, growing gumdrops to their natural state as, well, trees.)

Who knew that VE served quality like this… so close to home yet so far from past experience. That won’t be the case any longer. Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger was excellent… suggest using fresh avocado rather than guacamole. The mashed stuff made it too messy and not as tasty as the real thing. The sandwiches I saw being served to others looked pretty darn good too. Potato wedges were much better than expected. Great stuff. I’ll be back.

Hard buns… no not my buns… Sandwich on a roll was bland. I like my teeth in my skull Not stuck to your hard buns. Trying to get a refill. Is like pulling out a elephants tooth. They disappeared throughout the whole meal. The service was terrible… There was my brother and me and two other couples in here No one has a clue as to what is going on in this place. They actually didn’t know how to ring up our bill. And whatdaya know. The alarm goes off for a burglary alarm. The noise was so loud we went outside to eat. I’d only go back only if every restaurant in California were closed.
