Drove by it a zillion times before I noticed it… small place on South Street, EXCEPTIONALLY clean and super nice people! Food is fresh and fabulous. A must try if you are in the area! Happy Dining! LA :-)

First time customer Ordered the smokin brisket panini. Delivery was fast enough, but the food left me less than thrilled. I don’t like horseradish which was the only sauce choice… feel the sandwich certainly would have been better, less dry and more tasty with BBQ sauce. It’s too bad they don’t give customers a choice. Sandwich was indeed Very dry, not very flavorful for a BBQ place. Very pricey so won’t order again, cos I don’t want to chance another mediocre meal for that kind of money.

We moved to Deer Run this week and wanted to try the local restaurant delivery service. I opened my PayPal app and the first suggested restaurant is Dizzy’s so I placed a lunch order. They were totally efficient in every step of the process and the food is excellent(love the potato skins!). The driver was courteous and speedy. I will be a repeat customer. Top Marks!

Best BBQ I’ve had in decades, yes decades. As a child in the 70’s we stopped at a place called Powdrel’s in New Mexico that was forever burned in my memory as the best. Years later tried them again after changing hands over generations it wasn’t the same. For years I searched for a place that met that level of yummy expectations. For me the search is over. Dizzy’s is the place, the best I’ve had and I’ve tried to find the equivalent from the expectations of my youth through many a city and region in the country. I’m a happy fan.

Had the pastrami panini and it was lackluster. Pastrami was good, however, small portion on thick bread. Inside of bread was soggy and sauerkraut had no flavor. $ 9.95 and only a small bag of chips for a side, this is high $ for GF and they wanted to up charge me for a real side like Mac and cheese. Menu looks interesting and I’ll give them another try. On a side note, young children in flip flops and long hair shouldn’t be in a commercial kitchen…

Thrilled to finally have made it here! I drove by(last year?) right before they opened… and since I don’t live in Glens Falls… it wasn’t on my radar until last night. I stopped in and ordered some assorted items to take home and share. First — I was surprised that there were tables — I thought it was take-out only… so it’s good to know that there are plenty of seats to have a meal if you are hungry and need good food stat(both high stools and regular tables). It’s also immaculate… both the dining/waiting area and the open kitchen. Major bonus points for insane cleanliness! Food was prepared quickly; I only waited for about 10 minutes(as I hadn’t called ahead). I took home an order of hot wings, a rotisserie chicken, a half order of ribs, a small order of roasted potatoes and a small mac and cheese. The owner threw in a few extra sauces to try(2 different kinds of bbq sauce and a garlic dipping sauce); they make their own blue cheese and other sauces from scratch.(I was chatting with the owner and learned a lot about the business… super friendly guy). Everything that I tried was delicious. The wings were my personal favorite — they were cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming.(I tend to like a LOT of heat, but others that I shared with are not as tolerant…). The chicken and ribs were excellent… and I’m honestly not a fan of rotisserie chicken in general. The ribs are literally fall of the bone;(I haven’t had ribs in a very long time… I might have ribs once or twice per year)…these are clearly cooked low and slow. They’re not fatty and have a superb smoky flavor. If you like saucy ribs, get either the spicy or sweet sauce(or both) on the side and dip away. Mac and cheese was very nice and I absolutely loved the roasted potatoes. They have a bunch of sandwiches, salads and panini available… I hope to get back there soon to try some other items. They deliver to all of Glens Falls and up to the Queensbury area. If you happen to be hanging out at Mean Max or Common Roots brew pubs… you can order from Dizzy Chicken and they will deliver right to the brewery(since neither pub has food). I wish them much success; support locally owned businesses!

I stopped in for lunch today, my first visit. I got the smoked meatloaf panini and a side of Mac and cheese. The meatloaf was delicious and the panini was perfect. My only complaint is the meatloaf was not even a full slice it was as if I had to search for the meatloaf on the sandwich. The Mac and cheese was awesome. I’ll give it another try butt I’ll try and entrée and see if the meat portion is better. It was 5 star flavor with 2 star portion of meatloaf.

Open since July of this year DCWFR has already made an impact in the area serving up bbq and sandwiches with a slightly innovated twist on an old theme. I ordered a salad with balsamic dressing and immediately recognized that someone in this resto has a culinary school background. Clean, crisp fresh mixed green salad with a perfect oil to vinegar ratio, an excellent salad indeed. Next to arrive, was a small bowl of smoked three bean chili which was nicely done having a well balanced slightly smokey background flavor to a very thick hearty chili. The item that caught my attention on the menu was a Smoked Pastrami Rueben Panini on house made freshly baked focaccia bread. The chrispy crunchy tasty focaccia bread was matched by delightfully smoked thinly sliced tender pastrami which I believe is made in house as well. If you like Rueben sandwiches, hells bells, this place makes a dandy one!!! All products served are selected based on quality, no GMO’s, and no artificial ingredients or additives. Even the the sodas served are sweeten with simple natural sugar cane and not its high fructose derivative. This resto has a lot to offer in quality, flavor and downright satisfaction, I will return for the traditional bbq one day as I believe that experience will push the star level up another notch. Job well done Dizzy Chicken Wood Fired Rotisserie, well done!

We’ve driven by so many times and finally we ordered tonight to our delight. WOW! The meatloaf and brisket paninis were so delicious. Braises red cabbage you can hardly get anywhere, yum.

I very rarely Unilocal, but we loved this wonderful little gem and had to give props. Amazing rotisserie chicken – lovely smoky flavor, juicy and tender, and with a delicious skin(I usually pass on chicken skin, but this skin had all the fat rendered out of it, leaving it nicely browned and slightly crispy – definitely worth the extra calories). Parmesan fries were crispy on the outside and hot and mealy(in a good way) on the inside, and we loved the garlicky Dizzy sauce that came with it. Cole slaw was a nice, cool complement to the chicken and fries – very fresh and the use of red cabbage was a different and welcome take. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The chef kindly offered to split our order(whole rotisserie chicken with two sides), and our meal came out neatly divided into two portions. The staff checked in with us to see if everything was all right(it was excellent!). You can tell they take pride in their food and care about customer experience. Place was very clean, and had a pleasant, cheery vibe to it(loved the lime green walls). Reasonably priced given the quality of the food(this ain’t no KFC), and with the Groupon I found, an even better deal. Bonus points for being environmentally conscious. Our meal was served on white porcelain plates and bowls(and not styrofoam). Very unexpected for a small place like this. Utensils were plastic so a suggestion would be to offer metal flatware for those dining in. Minutes from the Adirondack Sports Complex, so it’s great place to check out if you’re in town for a tournament and looking to have a quick meal in between games.

My family and I decided on take-out from Dizzy’s and we were glad we did. We enjoyed everything we had from the ribs to the macaroni and cheese. Ii especially enjoyed the chicken wings served with the homemade blue cheese yum! The owner was very polite and extended his hospitality in a nice way. We will be back as for the menu was large. It’s going to take a while to try everything.

In one word… DELICIOUS. My fiancée and I live locally and hadn’t given this place a chance until last night. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that came with 2LG sides. We chose mac and cheese and the garlic roasted potatoes. The chicken was amazing… flavorful and moist and the sides were just as good! At $ 20 it was a great value as we we were stuffed! We also had 2 slices of the caramel apple crumb cheesecake. It was probably the best cheesecake we ever ate! Light and not too sweet. We are totally psyched that we have this little gem near us! We highly recommend this restaurant!

I’ve found in my travels that an area is often defined by the availability of locally owned resturaunts. Upstate New York is lacking in said businesses and is overly populated by chains serving the same tired bistro style food. Dizzy Chicken’s unique menu is a breath of fresh air in a location dominated by pizza and bad Chinese take-out. The smoked chicken is consistently tender and delicious and only outdone by the choice of sides offered. Well done!

The only thing that made me dizzy here were the prices as a rotisserie chicken and two sides were like $ 22(I wanted to know if the birds had been the victim of science project and were like Birdzillas at that price). Then you have the fact the place is on South Street which is great if you want a side order of tattoos and hobos. I had the half chicken which I think was close to $ 10 and it was dry as hell. I am a little suspicious of so many reviews so quickly, especially with how some stuff is worded. Personally, I’ll take the Colonel and two sides for $ 5.

I rarely give a new restaurant five stars, but you can believe the joy expressed in the other reviews here. Dizzy Chicken, after one visit, is on my list of must-visit Glens Falls area eateries, along with Poopie’s and Jack’s American Bistro. Seeing so much good word of mouth, my wife and I stopped in for lunch today. I had the smoked meatloaf panini, my wife had a Caprese panini, and we shared an order of roasted herb potatoes. The paninis were packed with flavor, from the hand-stretched mozzerella on my wife’s panini to the absolutely perfect(perfect amount, perfect proportion, perfect taste!) smoked meatloaf on mine; both were grilled on house-baked foccacia bread that makes for pretty huge and completely satisfying sandwiches. Each of our sandwiches featured fresh-tasting toppings that were great complements to the core ingredients. I would recommend the paninis at Dizzy Chicken to anyone looking for a hearty and incredibly tasty sandwich. For dessert we each got a chocolate mousse with raspberry coulis, and they were super light, airy and again, absolutely packed with rich, decadent flavor. My biggest complaint? Only cola as a diet soda option. I mentioned that jokingly on our way out, and was told they have had requests by others as well as myself to carry Diet Mountain Dew in the cooler. If they do, Dizzy Chicken will be perfect. If they don’t, who cares? When that is my biggest complaint, you know it’s a great place to eat. The inside is refurbished, too; spacious, bright, and very pleasantly decorated. A real gem has come to the changing face of South Street. Today was our first visit, but we’ll be back.

Two stars not for lack of taste but for poor sanitation procedures. When I walk into a food establishment and I can see into your prep area everyone touching food should be wearing gloves. I watched as the bread for a sub was being touched with bare hands. How do I know where those hands have been? Another person did have gloves on but I watched him tuck his shirt into the back of his pants and than pull his pants up. Gloves are used for ready to eat food not for touching anything other than food. I think Dizzy Chicken will do well but be more cautious as the person you are taking that order from may know everything about Kitchen sanitation. As for the food the ribs were fall off the bone and the flavor was good. The parm fries were good but for a pound were very expensive as they only weighed 7 ozs with the container. The coleslaw was nothing to rave about and lacked flavor.

Delicious! So glad this place came to downtown Glens Falls. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I think the restaurant is designed to mainly be take out but there’s a lovely dine in area. As far as the food we LOVE the salads! The dizzy chicken salad is SO delicious, especially with the rotisserie style chicken… yum! The mac n cheese is also so so good. We love the paninis– I’ve had the caprese and dizzy chicken panini and it’s so delicious! We could eat them everyday for lunch.
