Simple and transparent. What else could you ask for. I needed some minor work and I enjoyed my experience. You’ll have an opportunity to schedule an appointment during normal hours. I highly recommend!

All Dr. Cohen did was remove an impacted stye from my eyelid. He did a fine job and I liked him well enough at the time. This is a procedure that any ophthalmologist can perform. HOWEVER, since that time we have entered into a twilight zone billing nightmare with his office. Before the procedure, I confirmed that he was covered by our insurance. Afterward the bill we received showed us owing virtually the total amount. When we contacted our insurer they said that Dr. Cohen is covered but his office used the wrong billing code and under the code Dr. Cohen’s office used, it was not covered. My procedure was in April 2014. Since that time we have contacted his office no less than 13 times to correct this error; including a time that I personally visited his office to try to speak to him or his «billing person» personally. The «person who handles billing» has NEVER taken a phone call, «is working from home» etc etc etc. My husband sent Dr. Cohen a personal letter. No response. The woman at the desk has assured us that she has conveyed our messages and that the problem was resolved, the bill would be re-​submitted properly etc etc etc. Every month we get the same bill with the added notation of how overdue our payment is now!!!
We have called Dr Cohen and his «billing person (Elisa)», our insurance company has called his office, I went there personally, we have written him letters — we have never gotten one return phone call and we keep getting the same incorrect bill month after month. Are they completely insane? Is this a fraudulent billing practice? Our next move is to report him to the proper medical authorities who might have oversight on billing practices. Why doesn’t Dr. Cohen care that I came in, we have called and called, written him etc?
I would never go to him again for any medical procedure — if I have gotten zero response in over 7 months for a simple billing error, what would happen with a more serious problem? There are a lot of eye doctors out there — if I need one I will find one that cares about his patient, his front office and responds to phone calls and letters and personal visits from a patient.

My 76 year old husband had eye lift surgery with Dr. Cohen in November. He truly was having his vision impaired due to all the extra skin that was drooping over his eyes. We were both a little nervous about having this done… but from start to finish we could not be happier with the way we were treated and with the wonderful outcome. Not only is my husband’s vision much better… people are constantly commenting on how nice he looks… and these are people that had no idea he had anything done to his upper eyelids.
He never had any pain after the procedure… and within a week most of the bruising had disappeared. Absolutely amazing. Dr. Cohen has a wonderful bedside manner and was the perfect doctor for my husband. Very highly recommended!

Dr. Cohen diagnosed a relatively rare, and potentially life threatening disorder and quickly referred me for several emergency exams and imaging. Fortunately, my tests were clear. He reported results to me within a couple of hours of having the tests completed. I wanted to share, more importantly, that Dr. Cohen took time to listen to the deep anxiety I had about the condition which is helping me now as I slowly move on from this health scare.

I approached some dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons because I wanted my skin tone to be more balanced and more radiant. I thought I would end up working with a dermatologist but Dr. Cohen and his staff ended up being the best choice (as in they made my dreams come true!). I really can’t express how great they treated me. My treatment with him was dramatically more positive than any of the other doctors I spoke to about my issues. He is very talented and really made me feel understood. Now my skin is more firm and the tones are much more even/​balanced. On top of that, his staff was amazing. I recommend him to anyone in Glenview, or anywhere for that matter!

How could you go to this office and be unhappy?! From the minute you walk in the girls at the desk are polite and friendly, the office is beautiful and you immediately feel relaxed. I was referred by a friend for a chemical peel with the medical aesthetician, Aggie, and I had a great experience. She did a full skin evaluation and discuss what she was planning to do, but more importantly she explained that not only would summer maybe be the wrong time for a peel, but that I would really peel so if I had a lot on my social calendar in the next 5 days it was the wrong time to do the peel, which I can honestly say I was grateful to have been told. I would have been mortified to go to an event with my face peeling! She is awesome. I did a regular facial that day and scheduled my peel for September. By the way, they also have a refer a friend program which got both me and my friend a discount!

Aggie provides tranquilizing, positive energy and has amazing patience. She will listen to your needs and concerns and come up with exactly the right plan for your skin. From beginning to end of my treatment the experience is always pleasant and the outcome is unbelievable. I am currently doing a series of MicroPen PRP treatments with Dr. Cohen for severe acne scars. The PRP has done amazing things for my skin. Not only is the overall texture better but the redness has dramatically decreased after only two treatments. It is the first time in a long time that I don’t feel like people are constantly looking at my skin because of the acne. The staff here is friendly, sociable and professional. I am a grateful client that values Dr. Cohen and Aggie.

As a business owner myself this is very important to me. I have been coming here for over a year now. Dr. Cohen is AMAZING. He and his medical aesthetician are incredibly knowledgeable. There is a great positive energy and it makes your feel very relaxed. Aggie takes care of all my skin needs and Dr. Cohen takes care of the rest! He is incredibly talented. I LOVE the results of my injectables. When I am ready for a «refresher» this is the place that I will always choose. Nobody else can do what they do for me.

I don’t normally leave a lot of reviews but I wanted to given how great Dr. Cohen and his staff were. I recently had an eyelid surgery and could not be any happier. I chose Dr. Cohen cause he’s an expert in blepharoplasty and because he had great reviews online.
Everything from the first phone call and consult to the post-​op treatment was amazing. Dr. Cohen really listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and his assistant Elissa was also very pleasant. Def. recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone considering eyelid or any other plastic surgery!

I love this place! I have been coming to Dr. Adam Cohen and have become a convert to his Med Spa for over a year. The office is beautiful and very clean. Parking is easy. Dr. Cohen and his staff are professional, friendly and never pressure me into anything more than what I am coming in for. They work together to maximize not only my results but my time in the office. I highly recommend any treatment you are considering! I have had my upper lids done surgically with Dr. Cohen which came with a free facial, and now I am hooked. I do my brows in addition to facials and have also done laser hair removal which has been nothing short of amazing.

Do you have that place that you only share with your sister or your best girlfriend? Well for me, that is The Art of the Eyes/​Dr. Cohen’s practice. I truly love everything about their facility. From the zen like ambiance of the waiting room to the amazingly awesome staff, it is like my little oasis. My eyebrows and skin have never looked better and its thanks to Aggie. Honestly, I get compliments from strangers sometimes about how fabulous my eyebrows look — she is extremely skillful. I have consulted with other Doctors’ offices about skin care options for laser scar removal and their prices have been 10x what they will charge me at Art of the Eyes, plus they are not looking to up sell you there. They choose a minimal approach to achieve maximum results. Now, do me a favor give them a try, but please don’t tell EVERYONE you know because I really don’t want to have to fight for my appointment times. ;)

I have been going to Dr. Cohen for 8 months and he and his staff are terrific. I have noticed and so have others an improvement in the quality of my skin. Not only does it feel great but the wrinkles are disappearing. Thank you Dr. Cohen and Aggie… Karen C. Winnetka

Horrible Horrible Horrible doctor. He presents himself as a cosmetic surgeon but he’s not. He’s an opthamologist, which, stupid me, I didn’t find out until after he performed the worst eye lift ever on me. He left me with peaked eyelids that drop in the corners giving me a cross eyed look. I cried every day for months after the bandages were removed and the swelling went down. The procedure was covered by my medical insurance because my lids had drooped to the point they were impairing my vision. Unfortunately the repair work I will have done by a board certified plastic surgeon will not be covered, because as bad as Dr. Cohen’s skills are, the results corrected the impaired vision. To sum up my experience with Dr. Cohen… I ended up looking worse than I did when I walked into his office, and he will have cost me thousands of dollars to repair the damage he did to my appearance. Stay away!!!

Wow, I went to this joke of a Dr for botox as well. He must use a placebo because there is NO way that he injected anything similar to botox in my forehead. There was absolutely NO difference in my wrinkles. He also tried to sell me juvederm to fill in a wrinkle between my eyes. I was 26 at the time, no way in HELL that I needed a filler for a tiny wrinkle that really only needed botox. THANK GOD I didn’t let him butcher my forehead. You are better off going to the CVS makeup counter and getting a wrinkle cold cream then going to this HACK.

Well, it has now been three and a half weeks since I had botox and results are worse than I had previously reported. The right line is completely back and the left one is deeper and the muscle next to it is still swollen and has not gone down at all since my last review. At this point, I am going to demand a refund from Groupon and go elsewhere to have this fixed. This guy is a joke, and not someone qualified to do botox.
