Quiznos Classic Subs

Hurry up and get out.
After losing our Skokie Quiznos, we dropped in here to get our latest fix. However good the sandwiches are, this place is not. Besides the fact that the staff do not know how queues work (as the guy wanted to skip over us and take another person who had previously bought a sandwich who was standing directly behind us), they also short-​changed us on our large sized sandwiches by giving us the skinny torpedo bread. Also, the Bourbon chicken was way too spicy.

I really used to like Quizno’s. Something about the way the ranch dressing comingled with the black olives on the «Traditional.»
Sadly, it just doesn’t do it for me anymore. But, if you want a relatively quick sandwich that gets run through the toaster, this Quizno’s ranks right up there with the others.

Quiznos is Quiznos. They happen to be one of the only chains that I tolerate. I actually like what they have done with their menu in the last year and change: simplifying the sandwich selections and adding the flatbread sammies and flatbread salads. A flatbread sammie combo meal is $ 5.99 and that’s a pretty good deal, plus a way to eat lighter for lunch.
A few notes about this location:
1. Consistent staff. The same Indian lady has been working here for two years. Their other staff does not seem to turn over very often. This lady gives friendly service and the experience is exactly the same every time. Thumbs up.
2. Soda machine. Their machine seems to mix water and syrup right at the nozzle, so that when you click the lever, for a split second only water will come out. If you get near the top and click-​pause-​click-​pause-​click to fill your cup, you are likely to water down your drink slightly. Yes, I notice these things!
3. Hurrah, they have brought back Baked Lays Barbecue!
4. I don’t like the seating setup. There’s one bistro table right by the door, garbage can, and soda/​condiment area. The rest of the tables are regular dining versions and line the wall along the order/​pay counter. Thus, no matter where you sit, there is always activity of other customers to disrupt your meal. You may even have one hovering inches above/​beside you for several minutes if there is a line.

What can I say? They get my order 100% right every single time.
They also do a great job at last minute catering orders. I once called at 9am and had 60 sandwiches and 70 flatbread salads delivered to me by 11:30am.
The people running this place are fast and friendly. They will forever be my favorite Quiznos location!
