Wowza!!! Pancakes fluffier than the huskies of northern Il university, fruit so fresh it may as well have just fallen off the tree onto your plate, waffles better than they make in Belgium!!! After a night of hitting the we’ll know glenview club scene you can finish off with a hearty meal here(classic) before hitting the hay.

A delightful brunch here as usual. This time, we tried an egg-white omelette($ 1.25 extra) with spicy habanero cheese. We also had a Dutch Baby which was the January 25% off featured offering. While good to try the egg-white omelette which was very light and fluffy and interesting to see, it was also flavorless and meringue-like(what did I expect?). There wasn’t enough body and flavor for me as far as the egg portion, so I will stick with regular omelettes as usual in the future.

This business cannot be bothered to clear the sidewalks in front of their establishment, threatening the safety of pedestrians and their own customers. Good luck getting through the uneven icy terrain.

You have to wait a little while to get in on a Sunday morning, but after a few hours partying with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ there’s nothing better than a Walker Brothers apple pancake! Every time a take a bite it speaks to me, it’s all«Be still, and know that I am God»(Psalm 46:10). However, it is a LOT of food — whenever I don’t think I can finish it I just remember Phillippians 4:13. «I can do everything through Christ that gives me strength.» Have a blessed day! Also, what’s the deal with this no Mountain Dew Code Red policy? Some people are tryna get that blood of Christ over here!

My favorite breakfast restaurant. The lines are usually long on weekends but very worth the wait! Best pancakes I’ve ever had and the service is fast and friendly.

I left out a star for the long lines. The line depends on when you get there, what day, and which location you choose to visit. When I go, I usually go for an omelette, but I’m told they are known for their pancakes. Either way you’re in for a treat!

I wanted to write this review for a while but have gotten so busy, but I wanted to give a rave review to our waiter Nestor, so I am writing it even though I am 2 months late. We used to come to this Walker Brothers a lot when my daughter was little, foods and coffee have always been good. We came on a Tuesday morning around 11:00AM in July and were surprised to find that there’s no parking space in their parking lot, it took me 15 minutes to find a spot. Then there’s a waiting line that took us 15 minutes to get seated. It dawned on us that a lot of kids were on summer vacation and this restaurant is a family favorite for a lot of people. This time I had French Crepes and my daughter had a Continental. We also had coffee. The strawberries were fresh, and I liked that the edges of my crepes were crispy. Nestor is a great waiter well worth a lot of praises. He was very pleasant and polite, being attentive and not in a bothering way. His timing was good and asked the right questions at the right time. We asked the coffee guy to give us bags for the leftovers and he gave us a small plastic bag. When I was trying to figure out a way to fit the boxes into the bag, Nestor rushed over to offer us a good size plastic bag. It’s this kind of small things that make us feel how attentive he was. It was an enjoyable brunch.

Walker Brothers is overhyped. I’ve heard so many people rave about the place, but when I went, all I saw was an out-of-date, old fashioned breakfast place, with bad lighting, and mediocre food. I couldn’t get over the fact that the restaurant didn’t look clean. Definitely not worth the long lines.

I try to pick an early or late time to come here so there is a minimal wait. The Dutch Garden pancake is my new favorite item. My wife always gets the apple pancake. I am a big fan of their hash browns with cheese and salsa as well. This is a top brunch /breakfast choice in the northern burbs.

My food was all mixed with chocolate so I had to return it to have it remade, not only did they remake it but it was completely under cooked. The French toast was oozing with eggs, and not to mention the party of 15 that we ordered before got all their food first. Not coming back to this location. Took 20 minutes to get a booth and the whole restaurant was completely empty … Unhappy

I would define this place as a classic brunch place with food that is always consistent and equally good every time. The German and apple pancake is awesome

Horrible service! Not the typical Walker Brothers experience! Went in the middle of the day on a Friday and we waited for 15 minutes before getting menus or coffee… waitress FINALLY came by to take our order and then we waited about a half hour and STILL had not been served. She didn’t even stop to check on us to see if we wanted more coffee as she served people who came in after us. We finally had to flag her down and simply told her to cancel the order. Then she miraculously brought it out… after we told her to cancel it, that we just wanted to leave. She still charged us for the coffee, which was $ 6 tab and definitely NOT worth it– spent 40 minutes there for nothing! We are frequent customers of the Walker Brothers in Lake Zurich and have never had such poor service, I would definitely NOT recommend this location! It does not have the same service standards whatsoever.

The place is great for brunch. Like many other reviewers said I wasn’t expecting it to be busy on a Tuesday at 1030 am. However, I was able to find parking fairly easily. Only waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. The food did not take long to come out which was good because I was hungry! I ordered the blueberry pancakes. They were really good pancakes, large portion size, and not too heavy! The blueberries definitely tasted fresh. Looking forward to coming back and trying more off the menu!

Stopped in here after a nearby client visit when she decided to take me to lunch to discuss things a little further outside the confines of the office. I can eat breakfast foods pretty much anytime of the day, so it sounded like a plan to me. It was packed inside, but then again, it was like 12:45 or so when we stopped in. The isles are also narrow. so be prepared to dodge servers with trays of food. Even so, we got seated quickly and were greeted nearly immediately by a very cheerful and helpful server. The menu is fairly vast for a breakfast only type of place, and they have items to suit just about every taste. She went with the crepes, her usual apparently, and I decided to go with the Santa Fe omelet with a side of pancakes. If you are looking for a quick lunch, this is your spot, as they had our food out to us in under 10 min. Granted that most kitchens can kick out breakfast foods fairly rapidly, but that is still impressive considering how busy they were. The omelet was huge and took up most of my plate(see pic), and was served with a side of fresh salsa. If you are a fan of hot food, you will probably love this one. They are not kidding about the habanero in it either. It’s legitimately hot, and well beyond what most restaurants would count as «spicy». I love this level of heat but it’s not for everyone. The other ingredients in the omelet were very fresh, it was just the slightest bit undercooked and runny. Not enough to send back, but the only area of my visit that was less than great. The pancakes basically served as my dessert. The were light and fluffy and were sensational with some fresh strawberries over the top. Everywhere I looked I saw servers carrying around plates that looked delicious, so it is a shame I am not in the area more often. My lunch partner informed me that they have several other locations, and my server also informed me that they are building a location in Schaumburg that will be open in early 2016. Score! The prices here are a tad higher than what you would pay at similar options elsewhere, but the quality is also decidedly a cut above as well. IHOP this is not. If you are in the mood for breakfast, this seems to be a fantastic option.

Walker Brothers was recommended to me by a friend who assured me this was the best pancake place in Chicagoland. We got there 10:30AM mid-week figuring we could avoid any crowds. WRONG! The place was packed and there was a 20 minute wait to get in. But with the strong rec from my friend, we decided to stick it out. It was worth it. Despite the crowded dining area, our server was at our table almost immediately to get our drink order. I decided to try the Cinnamon Apple Pancake. My wife went with the pecan Belgian Waffle. The Cinnamon Apple Pancake is HUGE. It is more the size of a meal for 2 to 4 hungry people. And, if you have a sweet tooth, is absolutely delicious. The Pecan Waffle was also excellent. Despite the crowd, the service was excellent. Our water glasses and coffee cups were always kept filled. the only downside to this place is the parking, which can be a challenge. But the parking hassle is worth it. Outstanding food, service and value.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The line generally moves fast. It is better not to go on a weekend, unless you don’t mind standing in line and possibly having that door hit you in the back. Also they are awesome at making sure you have plenty of water because pancakes make you thirsty… I guess. I can never decide what to order, pancakes or eggs and bacon?

We went here 30 mins before closing. Obviously no problem getting seated right away. we got the meat lover’s omelette, Mediterranean omelette, and some buttermilk pancakes… overall I wasn’t impressed with the food unlike other diners. Walker brothers seems a bit overrated.

We went in on a Sunday morning and there was a short line. Usually, the line goes outside the door so we got lucky! The food here is great. But do not order the hash browns, I didn’t like it, and it was very salty. Expect to pay about $ 25 for two people. The service is great, but not above average. but they are very busy, so the waiters are always on the move. Parking seems like it may be an issue when they are packed! there was only two parking spots available when we went.
