We went there a wile back but I can tell you it was the worst I had a burrito de asada and the meat was hard then It rice in it and it was dry I had agua de tamarindo and it was expired then I asked for water and the cup had food in the bottom of it and I told the lady and it took her like 15 min to get me my water and then my mom ordered a caldo de camaron and I was really cold I don’t see why they are giving it 5 stars I do not recommend this place at all.

I ate here with someone from Mexico and we both loved the food. We had Ceviche and Tacos de Camaron washed down with Negra Modelos. Everything was perfect! I would come back again anytime I am in Glenwood Springs. If people don’t like mexican music playing they should not go to a Mexican restaurant. Mexican people tend to like lively music and it’s part of the atmosphere!

We are visiting the local hot springs and stopped by for a quick lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant but we’re happily surprised by good food and service. We enjoyed the guacamole, steak taco salad and chicken quesadillas. Great lunch.

Had lunch here today. Had veggie quesadillas and the roasted veggies were really lovely. Salsa was rather bland but the homemade guacamole was really tasty. I would have preferred the music a tad lower — but all in all left with a positive experience.

We were there on a Sunday evening. It didn’t seem busy at all because there were only one other couple in there. There was only one waitress and although she was very nice, she did kept on forgetting our orders. I knew this from the start because when we ordered, she didn’t write anything down. She forgot our beers, twice and forgot that we ordered something extra. The food took almost half an hour but the waitress did apologize and told us that there was only one cook in the back. The food was by far the worst Mexican food ever. I picked at my food(just the meat) and left the rest. The enchilada was something like a corn tortilla with feta cheese stuff inside covered with lettuce and none of the red enchilada sauce. I did order oysters but they were out.(Good thing I didn’t get that). The chips and salsa was plain, I had to put salt and hot sauce in them. The only good thing was the horchata but that was it. Honestly, chipotle or Taco Bell would’ve been a better choice and these are not even real Mexican food.

Great service. Great food and a fantastic $ 20 pitcher of margaritas. Great meal after a few hours in the springs pool.

Just had lunch here after a hike; it was delicious! I think the bad reviews are because it is authentic Mexican food, not what we usually see here, something smothered in cheese and mounds of beans and rice. I had the relleno plate(which are lightly dipped and pan fried on the bottom, with a light sauce and sprinkled with cotija cheese NOT deep fried and mostly just breading, covered in congealed«cheese.» They were sooo good, it reminded me of the rellenos I eat when I visit Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico! My husband had a shrimp and a fish taco and said both were great! Kids had basic enchilada, but I wouldn’t recommend that. Go for seafood dishes or rellenos FORSURE! Unless you want cheese smothered in sauce and more cheese… you won’t get that here. The chips and salsa worried me though, they were standard store bought chips, in Christmas colors,(okay Mexico’s colors too) but still; salsa was good, not spectacular, but it’s okay, it was fine, nibble on a few, then save your room for the good stuff! Oh, and did I mention it was really reasonably priced? We were really glad we stumbled on it!

Food was surprisingly good, we had quesadillas, tilapia and nachos. Service was good but our waitress was obviously new to the business or just incompetent. One order was late by 10 minutes, another order had beans when we specifically said no beans, and she didn’t know how to split a check correctly. But overall it was a better than expected experience for a restaurant that was dead during peak Saturday night business hours. Would give 3.5 if I could.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and decided to try this place on the word of a local. First off we were the only two customers in the restaurant and after they had brought us our water and chips we were sort of ignored. The waitress left to refill my water which took her fifteen minutes, which would be understandable if this was a packed afternoon, but, as I mentioned, it was not. Then I ordered the nacho deluxe with shredded chicken and they brought the nachos with shredded beef. When the waitress asked about my meal I told her they had used the wrong meat, but I was cool and would keep eating because I was already mostly through the nachos anyway. They gave us a ten percent discount for the trouble and I figured, ‘Whatever, they tried to fix it,’ and then I gave them $ 100 on a $ 30 order and they brought back $ 27 in change. To say the least I was livid beyond reason, because I don’t like people messing with my money, and went to them about it and they fixed it. They’re a new restaurant and I told them to not get comfortable if this is how they’re going to operate their business.

The prices was the best part. But I would rather pay more and get food you can eat. My son had three tacos. Shredded beef and a steak and a chicken. He couldn’t eat any of them due to the fact the meat was so tough I had a taco and a enchilada and the shredded beef was so tough and the enchilada was who knows what. She said they don’t use cheese that melts. Manager wouldn’t even come to the table Won’t ever go back

Check tripadvisor for a review that Unilocal can’t remove. Your food sucks. Get some real culinary training. More critics are on the way.

Went with my family, Shredded beef taco was slightly hard, steak tacos were amazing… Great atmosphere! Tamale was good, guacamole was really good, chile relleno was really good as well. Very good Cadillac margarita. Cheapest prices in town, new restaurant, try it.
