The food here is OK. I enjoyed it but nothing to write home about. We tried the garlic shrimp and coconut rice. Kind of bland. The Caribbean chicken was tasty but the beans and rice that came with were boring. My main complaint is that the the price was not a good value for lunch. I think the same price gets better food at other nearby restaurants!

Great food. A little on the pricey side and parking can be difficult, but what else do you expect in Glenwood Springs? I will definitely be back and recommend this place to all the locals I know

Hands down Glenwood’s best lunch place!!! I was instantly transported away from the snowy Colorado landscape and into a tasty tropical Caribbean paradise! The flavors of Belize, including coconut rice, plantains, fresh pressed tropical fruit juices(less than $ 3!) and spicy jerk chicken really raise the bar for lunch options in this town! The owner is also a delight, so enthusiastic about his food and culture, just as you will be after dining here!

We came for lunch and the good was wonderful as was the service. I got the garlic shrimp, with a Caribbean flair, my mother got the shrimp chiviche. Both were very good, cooked wonderfully and full of flavor. The side of plantains that came with the shrimp would be worth getting all on their own. The coconut rice was fantastic and the owner was kind enough to tell me how to make it, which I believe will happen quite quickly once I’m home. They were very nice, service was great, and food was delicious. If we lived here we would come back in a heartbeat! They offer free wifi as well, log in is CaribeStar-guest password is CaribeStarguest. Absolutely worth while to go and visit!

The shrimp ceviche was great! But hubby got a steak burrito and was disappointed. It’s small, for a $ 10 burrito. He left feeling hungry. Even the toddler, with her pancakes and eggs, left hungry. Smoothies are awesome.

Delicious. Wife and I both had shrimp dishes. Cooked and spiced very well. We are from out of the area but would definitely stop here again if in the area

Caribbean fried chicken plate was very good. Banana watermelon smoothie and banana mango smoothie were great. Thankful for plain«american» fare for my picky 7 yo. 2nd floor of King Mall. Nice view. Order and pay when you enter. Unfortunately, this means tipping before service even begins. Luckily, the service was fine although it only consisted of bringing our order to the table. Restrooms can be found elsewhere in the mall.

The staff was incredibly nice. The atmosphere is great too. Really clean build out. I am not sure how this place is getting 5 star reviews though. The kitchen had some delivery issues for us and two other couples. They messed up my husband’s order which he was done eating before mine(and the appetizer) even arrived. My husband also finished eating before the couple ahead of us were served. Kind of pricey for portions. Don’t expect leftovers. The chicken was cooked well with good flavor(not necessarily Caribbean) but the rice was bland and the potato salad and cole slaw were both very runny. Conch ceviche was chewy and served with a very small amount of chips. Too much pepper seasoning. Not sure if we would come back. Aspen pricing for just okay food in Glenwood.

Simply put… this place is AWESOME! The shrimp ceviche was fresh and very tasty. Not fishy at all. I highly recommend ordering it with the watermellon juice to start with. Thennn we ordered the Belizean Tamales.. BAM! The entire meal was out of this world! The service was welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. This establishment is sure to take off! The owner is friendly and an good businessman :)

We loved the strawberry watermelon smoothie and fresh pineapple mango juice. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Super friendly service. Hot, fresh fry bread. Amazing and different! A little hard to find– upstairs inside the shopping center.

We stopped by here by chance, and my friend never had Caribbean food before. We looked it up on Unilocal and saw the 5 stars. If I could give 6 stars I would. The serve and food was AMAZING. The hospitality was better than any other 5 star restaurant in Las Vegas. I recommend the beef, rice and, beans, shrimp ceviche, their fresh juices mango And pineapple. My friend Loved it. Everything was fresh. The freshest food I’ve had from any restaurant. Thank you so much for the unforgettable memory.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the smoothies are the best! I had a Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie(I know — drooling already) and the Belizean Breakfast with sausage and bacon. The presentation was great and it came with a juicy watermelon slice. I thought the breakfast was great on it’s own but then the owner suggested that we try it with Fry Jacks. Whoa — that completely put it over the top. The Fry Jacks are sweet pieces of flatbread almost like a sopapilla. I put my eggs and beans inside and was done for. Hands down, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had… ever.

Stopped in for breakfast and met the owner Josh. I had the steak breakfast burrito with the homemade habanero sauce and it was great! My wife had the Belizean Breakfast and she enjoyed it. The smoothies are a must have also. The restaurant has a view of Grand ave bridge from the second floor. I look forward to trying other items on the menu, thanks again Josh.

The new place has a really great atmosphere and the décor is awesome. The strawberry watermelon smoothie was fantastic! They have a good mix of Caribbean flavor a mixed with items that are more Mexican/American and prices aren’t bad. I had the shrimp ceviche and it tasted very fresh!

Delicious juice, breakfast, lunch, and«fast food» Great homemade tortillas. I’ve found that the appetizer menu can be quite filling. All under $ 9.00. I’ve visited Caribe several times since they’ve opened and have been happy every time I walk out the door. Service can be a little slow, but they make up for it in friendliness and meal presentation. :-)
