we ordered a lot of fresh seafood (lobster! crab! shrimp! chowder!) from The Fresh Lobster Company for a dinner party in los angeles. the food arrived via overnight and everything was amazing and delicious! ted was super nice on the phone and took the time to explain everything to me as i was a lobster novice, and i changed the shipping address on him twice (sorry!) but he never missed a beat! super A-​plus plus experience, great customer service and AMAZING FRESH SEAFOOD overnighted to LA!!! will order again!

Terrible Customer service.
Ordered some very time sensitve items ten days in advance and was told the day before the product arrived that they weren’t going to be able to deliver.
I told the man that it’s terrible customer service to be calling me the day before it’s supposed to arrive that they can’t ship.
The company rep then tried to flip the script and tell me that I obviously know nothing about how the product is harvested. He went on to say that they had five consecutive days of 95 degree weather (lie) and that the product would die immediately. I argued that he didn’t understand the harvesting process (or customer service) because if they had a foreseen problem, they should have called me well in advance to make different arangements. A really bad and stressful experience. Luckily one of their competitors was able to bail me out of the bad situation I was put in due to lack of planning and service on the part of The Fresh Lobster Company.
