This ACE Hardware store is THE best hardware store I’ve ever been to — hands down — ever. We have an ACE where I live, and over the years I’ve been to countless hardware stores — none hold a candle to these guys.
Not only is the layout above the top — it is old school that stays current. Current in it’s offerings, old school in it’s service. The employees have been there forever and are 100% knowledgeable and happy to assist. They hit customer service out of the park. This place actually holds a little near and dear spot in my heart. It is one of my favorite stores to visit.

In a small town like ours, a good hardware store is key. It’s where your friends work, where you get gifts personalized with your town name, where the drama department has a running tab for their paint collection, and where model trains used to run around the top of the back room (the old train station).
These days, it’s the go-​to place for all your planting, painting, lighting, and houseware needs. Barry in the paint department can help with any project. From getting keys copied to getting low-​cost brackets, bulbs, and small toys, there’s literally always a reason to go here — and free coffee, popcorn, and occasional kittens to pet to make your trip even more rewarding.
