Howard’s Donuts

First time here. Went here at about 8am. There were about five people ahead of me which didn’t matter as the three people working the front were super fast at helping every customer. They knew how to treat customers. They said good morning with a smile and asked how they could help and I noticed regulars saying bye to the workers as they left with smiles. What a wonderful experience.
GOOD JOB Howard’s Donut crew, GOD BLESS YOU ALL and keep spreading the joy; you never know who you will be serving.

LOVE Howard’s doughnuts! Only place we go! the shop is clean. They take pride in what they do and you can tell. And the doughnuts are amazing! We only go to Howard’s and if we don’t we always feel unimpressed and like we cheated on our local doughnut shop! Haha silly but true! Go Howard’s!

This place is on my way too and from work. The donuts are pretty good. You do have to watch out for old stock like any donut shop. Normally I would have given 4 stars but when you go in and order 8 donuts and a cheap chocolate milk and you pay 17.75 you have to wonder. Prices are a premium here and the donuts do not warrant such prices and for this reason I give 3 stars.

Howards donuts is my favorite spot, place is very clean staff are always nice and of course the donuts are amazing, i recommend everyone to try it !!

Great place! Everything here is something that they make. Fresh. Fast service. Tasty! A total killer to my wife’s diet as she puts it… lol. I only gave 4 stars though because when you run a credit card, it has to be a $ 5.00 mim. I like to have a treat now and then but we don’t need $ 5.00 worth of donuts. I would actually go there a little more often if they didn’t have that rule. I hope that they break that eventually!

Kind customer service, clean and tidy; the donuts are fresh and delicious. I’m surprised that the average stars aren’t higher (I’m not a coffee person so I can’t speak to that).

Super delicious and a wonderful treat which is close by and sometimes they give me an extra one.

This doughnut place has super fresh and tasty treats! I came in here to get a maple bar and a glazed old fashion. Their bar was fluffy and light, and the maple glaze was super thin which is perfect! None of that goopy sugary glaze here! And the old fashion had crispy golden brown edges which was perfect! This might just be my go to donut place from now on!
This place is super clean, and the staff are very sweet and friendly!
But they don’t give you bakers dozen, I was so sad when I looked in my dozen doughnuts and only found 12… But I know that is a special treat that most places do. I took the treats to my students at the middle school and they loved them!

Donuts looked good from the window, they looked fresh, at 130 in the afternoon you would think so, they were a little hard, I believe they need to set up their display temperatures a little cooler to slow down the hardening process, it was hot in there all together and maybe they were cutting costs, at the cost of the freshness of your food? I don’t get it, you won’t keep customers in there, or gain new customers as myself if you present hard, heading to stale donuts, which need to be fresh, soft, tasteful. So I was fooled a little bit by the presentation. They were cleaning up, didn’t wash their hands after cleaning to serve me donuts. All I could think of was bacteria, and infection. Unhealthy, stale, bacteria ridden donuts, but 1 star for excellent and fast service, a friendly attitude and a smile. But this is also a donut store. To survive, you must present the customer with healthy, tasty, soft, as fresh as possible donuts. They had no core donuts, no glazed, just alternatives to glazed? What donut store runs out of glazed donuts at 130 in the afternoon on a Saturday? That makes no sense whatsoever on Planet Earth. Get it together in a competitive market, there is a donut store not too far from you, and I won’t return here, as I tried a «New» spot, I was severely catostrophically devastated at what kind of place this is. I won’t return, you cannot eat in here, turn on the AC and keep your units cool, and make it comfortable to eat in here, maybe invest in some 1% tint on the windows not to discourage the view but create a cooler environment, or turn on the AC and stop being cheap. Who wants to eat stale donuts in a steamroom? Unsanitary people.

Went here this morning for donuts for myself & the kids. As always delicious and hit the spot :)

This small, family-​owned shop is a gem. Clean and updated interior, a large selection of donuts, muffins and other pastries, and very friendly service make this a refreshing change to most donut shops. Everything is made from scratch daily, and I can definitely taste the difference compared to other places. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried here (including a unique «fruit filled tortilla»), but my favorite is the classic glazed!

Nice for a donut shop, friendly service, good selection, busy, often out of the donuts i like.
Prices are fair.
You can watch them make donuts at night through the window, it’s fun to do if you bored late at night, a least for a few minutes.
I come here more than I should say.

A reasonable donut shop. Decent donuts and specialty items.
The coffee (Farmers) sucks. I just can’t understand why donut shops reduce the impact of their wares by serving bad coffee.

I’m not a happy camper at the moment. I don’t live near there and decided I’d be loyal and stick to getting donuts there– drove there… it was 2:40pm on the dot. I see the lady inside and try to open the door and it’s closed. They supposedly close at 3pm. She didn’t offer to let me in. Another customer was right behind me and wanted to come in as well. Thanks guys for wasting my time and gas. I have a graduation to attend to today so I thought I’d buy a whole bunch of donuts for it… I’m glad I’m seeing other negative reviews on here because they need to realize that nowadays when you do a bad deed it’ll end up on Unilocal right away ;)
oh and to make things worse– it’s national donut day!!!

Pretty run of the mill doughnuts, but you couldn’t get friendlier service at any other doughnut shop. My personal favs here are the ham & cheese croissant which has never ever been moldy for me (in 10 yrs of coming here). The bear claw is a behemoth so get ready to put down some calories. The old fashions have a nice cake-​y taste, not too hard or too mushy. Can’t go wrong with your standard chocolate, maple or cream filled bars. Mmm… delish. My daughters can scarf a dozen doughnut holes in under 5 seconds. Man I can’t another 6 hours to get my Howard’s fix!

I work close by, so this is where I would go. I got the ham and cheese croissant was all mold on the inside. I talked to the manager and they only wanted to offer me another one. I don’t think so.

So, I bought a dozen donuts this morning. Total came to $ 9.99. This was one of those rare instances that I actually had cash on me, a $ 10 bill in this case, so I paid with that. I had my hand out for the change, and the guy looks me in the eyes and dumps it in the tip jar. It’s just a penny, but that was very rude (not the best word for it, but I want to keep this clean).
And no, I haven’t tried their donuts yet. They are still sitting in a box next to me (taking them to a class I’m teaching this morning). Nonetheless, I will not return to Howard’s Donuts.

Standard donuts that are overall great. We get them in the office from time to time… these never fail to hit the spot.
I would recommend them to other donut fans.

Standard no-​frills donut shop. I was craving a chocolate raised/​glazed donut but the only chocolate-​frosted ones they had at 4 p.m. on a Saturday were cake donuts. Not a big fan of the cake donuts.
So I got a raspberry jelly donut. The Asian counter guy rung me up for 99 cents. Was this Howard? Who cares — scarf! — BYE! Now I had sufficient donut energy to shop at the sketchy K-​Mart in the same shopping center.
