This was probably the best buttermilk donut I’ve had in a very long time. Moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I’m definitely coming back!

Heading to Rancho Cordova for a day out with a friend I passed this donut shop on my way coming and going from her house.
I stopped in for the first time and selected four different donuts to try, and I can say unequivocally … yum, yum, yum, & yum.
I think the cake donut with the orange glaze was my favorite, but they were all as good as donuts can be and didn’t even last ’til the next day.
The following day when I was craving more I found myself thinking it was a good thing they aren’t in my neighborhood or I would be going in there every day; and my metabolism can’t take that.

Every time I am in Sacramento I go to this donut establishment. To my surprise, they now sell Thai ice tea with boba!!! Now I can enjoy it with their delicious donuts!!! It’s a win-​win!

Best place for Donuts! Not greasy and so fresh they last until the next day or two! They now have boba there… not all drinks but they have milk tea and Thai iced tea! Love this place!

I live off Coloma and this is and has always been a go to for the last years! The donuts are delicious, however they definitely run out so if you come later on in the morning it might be slim pickings!
They also do Western Union transactions and I’ve heard the coffee is pretty good too!

What a surprise! I would never have guessed this place would be good. It’s in a dilapidated strip mall and doubles as a Western Union, but the ladies at the counter were nice and the donuts tasted fresh at 4pm on a Saturday. I highly recommend the big twist with chocolate chips on top and inside. It was light and moist and fresh. Wonderful!

#1 DONUT spot in town!!! BEST service ever! So friendly, makes you feel at home! As a donut connoisseur I can tell that they use quality oil, as their donuts are never greasy and tastes amazing! Highly recommended!!!

The venue is a little meh, but it seems to have quite the little community coming and going, and chatting up a storm. The service was good. My kids scarfed down their donuts, which was a first. I didn’t notice any difference. They had a lot of my favorites but the variety is very slim here, quality or quantity I guess.
Prices were fair.

Been a couple of times.
The donuts are fresh and the oil to cook them isn’t rancid like so many joints.
The coffee was actually good. (unlike so many joints).
Definitely warrants real exploration.

Best donuts ever!
Bought a baker’s dozen which included custard bars & lemon filled donuts. This place doesn’t skimp on the fillings– the fillings went all the way thru – yum!
The shop was also clean & bright.

At a time when everything in American life is increasingly industrialized and part of some mega-​corporation, there are thankfully still small-​scale local options like the Allens Donuts. They make their baked goods on the premises; the doughnuts and cookies are fresh and taste delicious; and the staff is polite and helpful.
