We were seated fast, the drink order was taken and severed immediately and then our food order was taken. We were taking about the event we just stopped at and before we knew it our hot food was sitting at our table. Yes, we know this is all from an IHOP, but this place is much different than all the other IHOP I have been to, for year I have been coming to this one with family and friends, and for some reason the service is fast and reliable. The staff is happy to see you, and they will take care of your needs to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable. The food came out hot and fast, and most important with this it was all right and the way we ordered. This is a place I will continue to come over time and bring my family and friends for a good meal. Oh yes, the prices are comparable with anything out there, so good meal good price, good times.

I usually go here during the day but this time was at night. We practically had the place to ourselves. Ordered chicken and waffles. The waffle was piping hot, golden and had perfect texture. The fried chicken was crispy and moist on the inside too. We enjoyed this meal for dinner more than breakfast.

hi-ya! I remember watching commercials about IHOP and seeing them drizzle syrup over really yummy looking pancakes… the commercials are always better then the real thing. Everything was fine, but I always envision breakfast for dinner being so much more then how it really turns out. Anyway the place was semi-empty which was good because I got fast service and the food came out quickly. I can’t say the experience had any ‘wow’ factor, but they didn’t disappoint regarding cleanliness, customer service and/or my realistic expectations on taste. Overall 4 stars for a breakfast house.

Very, VERY smal portion size and bacon strips you can literally see through. Over $ 40 for 3 breakfasts and I left hungry. Ridiculous. Will never eat there again.

Came in and waited 5 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was empty besides one table. The manager, I assume, in all black looked at us and continued to talk to the couple dining in already. They were catching up. Not to mention he was sitting on the table. The busser was the one that actually acknowledged us and told us to just take a seat. The waitress, a young Hispanic woman with braces saved them. She was so sweet and bubbly! She gave great service. The only reason I come to this location, is because it’s less than 5 minutes from my house.

This place is pretty average. Came in today around 10:00 am. There was no wait, which was nice. We walked in and were seated immediately at a booth. We hardly ever saw our waitress though. She greeted us really quickly and took our orders. Saw her again for a split second when she dropped off our food, and didn’t see her again until we were finished and had to flag down another waitress get the bill. She never checked on us to see if we needed anything or to ask us how the food was. This wasn’t really a «bad» experience. The food was decent, came out correct and was inexpensive. The service just wasn’t personable. Overall, this place is nothing to rave about… it’s just kind of mediocre.

So it’s ihop not a 5 star esquire but it’s breakfast and makes my kids happy Overly crowded for a Saturday at noon, but the wait was nice and short and we were seated into a nice clean booth. We were greeted quickly and our drinks were brought out quick. The server was friendly. Now we sit and wait with the screaming infants and loud coughers while we wait for the food 40 mins later and the food arrives. I was ready to mention it to a manager but the table ahead of us beat me to it. Got their meal comp’d and I felt like I would be appearing to request free food which wasn’t the case. So I decided to take it here. Total disappointment. Won’t be back to this location. And that’s a bummer because it is right by my house and my kids LOVE ihop Sad day for me. **update** this review was started Saturday while at the restaurant and finished Tuesday evening and is not representative of the service on Tuesday**
Just left here with my mother and we were both very happy with our dining experience. Was fasting for blood work and needed food BAD. We went to Dennys and stood around close to 10 minutes waiting to be seated and were never even acknowledge so we left and came here instead. Best decision ever! We were instantly greeted, sat right away, got our coffee within seconds and ordered about 2 minutes later. Love it. Our waitress was nice but not in your face asking you how you are every 3 seconds(which i cant stand) and our food was pretty good(definitely better than Dennys). Thank you for making this hangry girl and her mother full and happy. Now time for that after huge breakfast, its my fricken day off, nap time.

It’s an okay restaurant to eat at but the service was fast though. Being a first timer here with my gf. Quick bite.

As a restaurant worker I’ve never heard of refusing service 20 minutes before scheduled closing. With how run down this place is they should be thankful for any business at all. Won’t be returning

Am I the only one? I’ve only had a problem here once, and the manager came out and made it right immediately. The food’s always been good to me, and it’s priced noticeably lower than the IHOP down 50 on Bradshaw. EDIT: There we go. My sister ordered scrambled eggs, and got fried eggs. She then asked for the scrambled eggs she ordered, and all they did was chop up the fried egg, leaving runny parts. When pressed, the manager came out to explain that no, that was scrambled, they were just using beater eggs and that’s how they look. Runny in the middle scrambled eggs. To make matters worse, my son and I spent half the meal without a drink, and this was when we were one of two parties in the restaurant.

Walked in and was seated right away. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was really good and everything was going well but then the bill came… we went up to the counter to pay and waited for nearly a half hour for the change. The hostess that took our money said probably 3 words to us the entire time we were standing there and just stood by trying to «get the waitress’s attention». Finally the waitress came over and realized we were still standing there and took another 5 minutes to get the change to us saying, «I thought you had left so I made the transaction and moved on». Ruined the whole experience. If you like ditsy monotone hostesses that don’t understand their job then go to this ihop.

Well the reason this place fail to obtain rest of the stars because when I ask for my food. I am hoping it would come without any hairs. Yes hair the lack of food safety and proper care to handle food. This place fail to make sure that in the back where the kitchen is located. They could at least have their Chiefs wear hats while making food. I am sorry but it’s crazy to ask for food without finding hair on my my French toast and hash brown and eggs. On the order side the waiter was really nice. I just can’t stand for it when establishment don’t care to follow food standards has stated by the public health and safety of county of rancho Cordova well I am from Orange County. Well that’s all peeps enjoy your food at this I hope if you love hair on your food.

Walked in and a huge cockroach ran out to greet me. This thing been living there for a while, about an inch in length. Sat down and order a breakfast sampler. The ham was at least couple weeks old. Super dry, felt like microwaved beef jerky. Eggs were over done and rest of the meal was just disgusting. Most of the staff of standing around and having a soap opera. Couple behind us sat down and waited 10 minutes while their server was telling a story to her friends.

We have a meeting in their meeting room every other week. They have it set up and ready for us. They have coffee and water ready for us and have worked with us for a good selection of items that we can collect one price from everyone on which really simplifies your work. Thanks. Very happy.

Fantastic, fast, convenient service, a hidden gem of a location for great breakfast, we were seated within 1 minute in a full house, it took about 35 minutes to get our food to our table in a packed house, our food arrived hot, freshly cooked, and with plentiful portions for the price. Priced right, loud inside, seating is jam packed on top of each other as the hosts were dancing with each other to get food to you, not literally dancing, but creatively maneuvering plates out. You will enjoy this place, easy access to the freeway, gas, simple shopping is nearby and the gym. If you came here, come again, enjoy good food.

I know everyone has their own experience but mine was good. We walked in and the place was packed, not 100% full but only 2 – 3 tables were available so we were seated immediately. Our waiter approached us within just a minute or two and took our order. Based on the reviews we expected to be waiting for 20 – 30 minutes but were surprised when our food came in about 5. The server was very attentive and courteous throughout our meal and we will definitely be going back.

Two of us walked into this restaurant for breakfast at 9:30AM on a Friday. The restaurant was about 2⁄3 full with many dirty tables not yet bussed. Perhaps, they had just had a busy breakfast service that left at the same time. We were immediately sat at a table and given menus. We quickly decided what we wanted to order, closed our menus, and waited for a server to approach us. Several minutes later a server greeted us and asked if we needed a few more minutes to look at the menu. We didn’t. Maybe it was she that needed the extra few minutes. We said that we were ready and she took our order. Both our orders were straight from the menu with no modifiers, changes, or substitutions. I ordered an iced tea. We waited for our food to arrive. As we waited I looked around at the dining rooms cleanliness, disrepair, and juvenile decoration. I made the comment that it was decorated like the inside of a first grade classroom or convalescent hospital. My iced tea was served. We watched as tables around us were served their food and continued to wait for our food. I finished my iced tea. The longer we waited, the hungrier we became. 40 minutes had passed since we walked into this restaurant. We began to look toward the kitchen to see if there was a problem. We began looking around the dining room for our server. When we couldn’t locate our server we decided to walk out. 40 minutes is TOO long to have to wait for breakfast, especially at a place that specializes in it. It is TOO long to have to wait without an explanation from either the server or manager. We drove from the IHOP in Rancho Cordova to the IHOP in Folsom, CA where we ordered the exact same order. We were eating our breakfast 15 minutes after walking into the Folsom IHOP. I won’t be back to this IHOP.
