Round Table Pizza

I placed an order for take out. Arrived at the suggested time. There was one person ahead of me but there was some kind of a problem with their order and they wanted to make some changes but the person at the counter couldn’t figure out how to do it. The six other people behind the counter paid no attention to me and finally after waiting 15 minutes to pay and pick up my pizza, I left… never to return. There are plenty of other pizza places in the area.

Why did I order online an hour and a half in advance, paid online and when I come to pick up the pizza they made it, but did not cook it. Had it made for how long I don’t know. I now have to wait 15 min. for them to cook it. Doesn’t make any sense, it defeats the purpose I f ordering and paying ahead of time. If I was not on a hurry, I wouldn’t have ordered it an hour in advance. There was only one small group of people at one table, it is not like they were busy. The order online process is a joke. Not sure if it was screwed up because of the process or the employees, all I know is, I won’t use the online order process again. The employee was nice, thus 2 stars.

Placed an order online for delivery. Shortly after the order was placed, received a call confirming my order. I had inadvertently requested no sauce when in fact I asked for extra sauce. Pizza was delivered sooner than expected. Delivery person was very nice and pizza still warm. Items were correct, crust was just right… overall delicious. Definitely one of the better Round Tables.

I have to give one star on this one because my experience there was not pleasant. Let’s get the food out of the way first. The pizza was OK as expected. Unfortunately, we had to wait for the pizza. The first one was gone before we could get to it. We sit well over 15 minutes for a new supervisor to tell someone to make another pizza. When that one came, and employee got his hands on it first. Now the salad. I believe the lettuce was the left over from the day before. Well that was what we got when we didn’t pay full price.
Now let’s talk about other things. At first, they seemed to be interested on who is the new supervisor more than taking my order. After they took the order, the cash registers didn’t work. And they kept talking about who is the supervisor or what all this time. And they continue on while we were eating next to our table. By the way, one of those employees was the one who tried to get the pizza before their guess.
So I give this place a one star because the pizza is ok.

It’s horrible! You cannot get service when you call. I was put on hold twice! I told the guy I’ve been on hold twice, and he apologized and said they were really busy. I said «never mind», and he said «okay»! Never again, they are not that good and there are too many other places to eat! Service sucks!

This review is for the Family Night buffet. First, I can’t say enough how great their service is. Everyone is so attentive and nice.
The pizza selection is very good, with lots of variety. They continuously replaced the pizza, so it was always hot and fresh. Tasted as good as if I ordered an individual pizza. The cinnamon twists are insanely good!
And the salad bar is full and clean. A+ service. I definitely pick this Round Table over the one in Folsom. Surprising, huh?

Luckily I had a good experience. The pizza was fantastic! Heap on the garlic and basil, and it will be killer!!! Delivery was pretty fast also.

This was a horrible lunch for me and I drive all over for my job they ran out of pizza for buffet! And cups for drinks, also salad bar condiments, and also seting due to ppls waiting to eat for the buffet and no pizza made this has to be the worst Round Table in the area by far! that i have been too.

I wanted to do an update review. I was contacted by a manager and was offered vouchers to come back and give them a second chance. This time we decided to dine in on July 3^rd around 3:00 pm.
We ordered the bbq chicken pizza & garlic twist. Pizza and bread sticks was delicious! But I must say I was bothered with the level of professionalism. We sat near the register & let me just say I heard a lot of yelling and arguing and these aren’t just like staff, there was a manager as well. A driver was getting ready to leave and one of the staff yelled and said wait we forgot something in that order and you can see the frustration on the drivers face. That makes sense too because the last time they forgot stuff we asked for when we had it delivered and of course it’s not the delivery mans fault. So back to what happened, you can hear the manager taking the frustration out on the staffs, to me that should be handled behind closed doors not out in the open for customers to hear what’s going on. It’s common sense especially there’s seating in the front by the register/​counter I would think you would try to keep your voice down but apparently they didn’t care because everyone that sat by can hear everything. I would think they would come up with a checklist of some sort before the delivery person grabs the orders to avoid forgetting a customers orders .
With that said dining in while that was going on kind of put a damper in our experience. Because the food was great but the atmosphere was not. I’m only giving a 4 star because of the food and the manager for reaching out because they care about a customers satisfaction. So thank you! We might just do delivery again but with what we saw and experience I hope they don’t mess up again.

The unlimited buffet still hasn’t improved. They called up the cinnamon twists, and they were gone after two people, so I got none. How hard is it to make more cinnamon twists? I paid the same amount as everyone else here so shouldn’t I be able to eat the same things without them running out after 2 people?

Sometimes good, sometimes could be better. Service is the main issue I think needs addressing. Pizza is usually good but sometimes service is quite slow for the $ they charge

Horrible experience.
We ordered for delivery. we live not even 2 miles away. so it was silly we even asked for delivery instead of pick up. over an hour later our pizza arrives. but the order was wrong. The delivery guy was new so I called the rountable and asked the manager what he should do. they took back the pizza and said they would have another guy come deliver it. another hour and a half wait… still nothing. The assistant manager was SO rude. he was pretty much laughing at me. $ 40 for pizza is pretty expensive and i would hope that price would AT LEAST get me semi good customer service.
Pretty sure any other decent delivery service would of left us the wrong pizza and given us a refund… Or then delivered the correct order.
Will not go to this Roundtable again or recommend it.

I like round table pizza but this location is the worst. I’ve ordered online a couple and times and when I go to pick up my order, the employees failed to check the online ordering. Forget delivery. The website says 40 minutes, but I have NEVER gotten a pizza delivery in 40 minutes. It’s more like 1.5 hours. I brought this up to The manager, Michelle, and seemed to blame me for where I lived and why deliveries take so long. If your business says it’s going to take 40 minutes, you should probably try and honor that, Michelle.

Called in a pickup order a few days ago and their credit card machine was down, I asked if they would make it up to me, they said yeah, so cool.
One of my new favorite pizzas they have on special is the large Italian trio for $ 17.99. They agreed to let me use my Unilocal 15% off checkin offer even though they usually don’t allow that on specials which was very cool so with tax it came out to around $ 16.50. Hoping they keep this pizza on the menu because if you had to order each topping individually the pizza would probably cost close to $ 30 out the door.
RE: Italian trio: Little crispy pepperoni’s, thick sliced sausage and italian sausage with red and green bells, black olives, mushrooms and onions, italian herb seasoning, 3 cheese blend and zesty red sauce. Makes for some killer leftovers which to me is always a litmus test to how good pizza really is.

I also like the King Arthurs Supreme, Gourmet veggie, Wombo Combo and the Hawaiian. They have a thin crispy crust where the toppings go out nearly all the way to the edge of the pizza which is exactly how I like it.
Nothing like the smell of a good pizza parlor when you first walk in the front door and they have it here in full effect.
To think, when I lived in Arizona, they don’t have Round Table Pizzas… How sad

My boyfriend and I are regulars because they have great customer service, every single one of the employees. Honestly any Roundtable tastes good and they are no exception. Also the salad bar is always fresh and has everything. Clean inside as well and they have a few tvs.

We found our new local round table we had a way better experience here at this location than the last time when we went to the other awful location. Service was much better, pizza was on point — though the order was for an extra large and we were served a large. I think they were out of xl dough but we weren’t told that. Zachary offered us a small same pizza to go, which we took home happily. We’d like to thank round table corporate for our VIP pass! We had a very nice dinner.

We ordered a few pizzas to be delivered to us. It arrived with the wrong toppings. I tried calling the store and got in the phone with the worst supervisor ever… somebody named Erica or Erika or something like that. She not only didn’t apologize but proceeded to hang up on us 3 times. I couldn’t believe the level of horrible service this person was giving us. She insulted us and proceeded to insinuate that we were trying to cheat. I had in my hands the receipt from the online order with the right toppings, time of order etc. so, no we were not trying to get a free ghetto pizza from this place. We just wanted the pizza we ordered and note the crappy thing they sent to us.
NOT SURE WHO OWNS THIS PLACE… but please consider who you hire, although the fact that you have people like that working for you already describes how you run your business. you don’t deserve to represented that brand.
Finally, another 45 minutes later pizzas arrived. The delivery guy apologized profusely for both the problem and their manager. He was quite embarrassed. I hope this guy finds a better job soon. he seemed to be smart.

What a terrible experience. The only bright spot of this lunch was the young lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly.
We came in at 1:30 and ordered the lunch buffet for 2. I was surprised that not only was it a dollar higher then the ones in the bay area but did not include a drink. No worries, I paid my $ 20.00 plus and grabbed a seat.
When I went to the salad bar I couldn’t believe what I saw. Half of the items were gone and the ones that were still there, fell to the bottom of the bar because the things holding them up were not in place. I made a salad and went to my table frustrated… oh wait I forgot my fork. I got up and went to get one and I noticed that there were not any!!! I asked someone and they said they would go get one. That person came out a few minutes later with no forks. The nice gal at the counter asked if I needed anything and me and another person said we were waiting for forks. She asked the same person again to get some and he responded by saying they didn’t have any. She asked if we could wait a little longer. I waited and waited and commented and commented about how silly this was… all the time there was an assistant manager there named Larry that witnessed this and did not comment at all. Eventually forks came out.
I ate my salad and went to get pizza. Hmmmmm where is the pizza. There was none. Then a few minutes later they put out ONE pepperoni and everyone flocked to it like vultures over road kill and it was gone. Eventually they would bring out a pizza or two, but most of the time the whole bar was empty!
My son and I left after our salad and ONE slice each. Hardly worth the $ 20.00 we spent.
I don’t live out here, but if Im in the area I will make sure to stay away from here.

Most RTs have decent commodity pizza. Let’s face it, they never did do gourmet. Most places have decent deals too. I tried the buffet the other night and I’ve got to say I won’t again. Why? Management didn’t put out anywhere near enough pizza to feed the people in the room. The bar sat empty most of the ½ hour I was there.
Too bad.

What can you say about the Round Table Pizza lunch buffet? It’s tough to beat the price to be sure!
Of all the Round Table locations in the greater Sacramento area, I think this one serves the best pizza at lunch time. This visit was no exception. Good crispy crust and enough toppings to keep it interesting. The salad bar was well-​stocked and everything looked and tasted fresh.
This one is definitely repeatable!
