Hope you get Ann Smith as housekeeping. She is so nice and helpful polite and dont mind going down those stairs to help you in any way she can. Oh you take the elevator but she sprints those stairs .No one here was rude but ms ANN is exceptional. Oh and cant say enough about Antoinette the breakfast lady oh my, just stay here for her smiling face. She greets everyone with a smile. What a ray of sunshine. This hotel owes her alot cause she is wonderful.

Profits over guest security. We had 3 motorcycles stolen Saturday night 6÷21÷14. We parked where the staff indicated it would be safe. This has been a epidemic at this property and remains unmitigated. No new cameras, no security guard and no signs of increased efforts for guest security. Infact only 1 employee appeared to be working. Whats amazing to me is even after a shooting at the hotel in 2009, no increased security other than what apopears to be a new camera over looking the pool(insurance requirement?) We have filed for a complete report of law enforcement service to the property and will be seeking litigation for clear negligence. When speaking with the GM Erin we informed her that local law enforcemnt made us aware(after the incident) that other hotels in the area were hiring off duty police to help. Erin’s responce was the«They are lying» I’m not sure what is going on at this Hotel but something doesn’t smell right. My hopes are that clear heads at ZMC leadership prevails and makes us whole as I would much rather be writing a review stating that these are the good guys and they have helped right a wrong. Unfortunatly at this point it is not the case. So far the clear message has been tough luck. This is no way to treat a loyal Hilton Rewards member. Wouldn’t you agree Keneth Goldfine?

Great little hotel, probably the best in the Goldsboro area. Good price, walking distance to restaurants, breakfast hit the spot. The room was clean and comfortable, temperature was just right.

I believe this is the best hotel in the Goldsboro area. Price was a little high, but breakfast is included in the rate. The HVAC in my room could not be stopped and I slept with the HVAC on all night at 72degrees. My room needed some mechanical remodeling since there was done mechanical issues in my bathroom as well.

They were remodeling when I jchecked in so basically the front desk was at the back door. Breakfast sucked but room was really nice. This hotel had nicer rooms than the hi express next door.

I was traveling on business and booked online. With out realizing it, my reservation was booked through a third party vendor for the wrong month. Now for the good part. Autumn at the front desk was brilliant. She could not have been more helpful and understanding. She spoke directly with the third party and sorted everything out. In a time when most service employees are just punching a clock it’s refreshing to find someone who cares.

Avoid this hotel. It does not deserve the Hampton name. Breakfast is disgusting, a bag you’re supposed to microwave. Completely inedible. The dryer had been broken for three weeks, so forget about doing laundry. Internet was down for the first 2 days of my stay. When I complained, I was told«sorry, must be the weather». Least friendly hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. There were 5 of us and 3 had problems. I stay in Hamptons a LOT, and I’m always greeted with a «hello» or «how are you» when coming in through the front door. Not at this place. Not once. The only person who acknowledged my existence was the woman in charge of breakfast, who would wish me a good day or say hello every time I saw her. She was like a breath of fresh air amongst a bunch of rude workers. The walls were paper thin, large groups of people yelling in the hallway at all hours of the night. Thumping bass from the parking lot. I think I averaged about 4 – 5 hours of sleep a night here. Definitely will NOT be coming back. Our problems: One(a Diamond VIP member) with a valid reservation for a nonsmoking room was told«sorry, we don’t have a nonsmoking room». He was not willing to accept a handicapped smoking room(he tried, it was just too smelly) and was left to fend for himself. The Holiday Inn next door was also full, but at least THEY called around and found a new room in another hotel for him. Next was the poor guy who had his bathroom flood. so they moved him to another room, which had a broken lock. They moved him again but failed to update the reservation correctly so he was kicked out while we were at work the next day. Belongings thrown together in his suitcase and put behind the front desk. Told to «calm down» when he complained about it… by the *manager*. as if it were no big deal. Another Diamond VIP member, btw. My problems weren’t of the same nature, I just had a dirty bathroom. Black stuff growing in the caulk around the tub and the shower head. Maids would take my dirty towels and not replace them. Maid service consisted of them making the bed, nothing else. When I checked in, I had to interrupt the front desk clerk from her private conversation with another employee. My interaction with her consisted of «can I help you», «credit card» and«here you go». No mention of breakfast or hotel amenities. The air conditioner in my room couldn’t be set to constant fan(to help with providing white noise to drown out the people in the hallway). It had lost the trim on the bottom and was being braced by a piece of wood — pretty! Toilet ran all night too.
