Restaurant cafeteria style and the food is not that great. Today I got the spaghetti, French fries and a fudge chocolate cake. For starters, I chose the spaghetti because I’m not too crazy about their chicken or country style steak or their veggies only because they have a weird taste at times(depending on who’s cooking). But the spaghetti was OK, you shouldn’t break your neck to try it but it got the job done as far as filling up my belly. The fries were too hard. I originally ordered a sweet tea but the tea was horrible so I got a Mt. Dew and it was awesome. The fudge cake was hard as a stone… It had a cardboard taste to it. I was not impressed today. Not only today but anytime I come the food is not up to par.

Not much of a healthy option. They do have salads and fresh fruit available but it didn’t look very fresh. A lot of what they offer is covered in gravy or fried. It’s a buffet so I guess a lot of processed foods is what you should expect. Not something I like so I probably won’t be returning.

I has traveled to lots of different types of places like Alabama and Mississippi and this is the best restaurant I know. You can get you turkey and dressing. You can get you fried chicken. I got me a thing that is called the spaghetti bake. With it I got me some mashed potatoes and some macaroni cheese. And some chocolate cake. And a cokecola. This is a word I don’t hardly ever use but this food was so good I would call it delirious.

This is a place where our Golden folks love to eat(my 80-year-old patient quipped that she would not want to go there because it reminds her of a nursing home!). The reason why they love K&W is because they serve cheap traditional Southern food«cafeteria-style.» I have a few favorites there(their tender-to-the-bone baked chicken, savory fried beef liver with onions & gravy, & crispy fried okra) & I visit the place when I crave for them(hopefully not very often or I’ll develop some form of cardiovascular disease). Don’t expect anything fancy, just good food.
