We stopped to eat dinner as we were traveling. 3 of 4 of us ordered steak and we were not disappointed. Seasoning was spot on and cooked perfectly. Everything about the meal was wondeful even our waitress, Lindsey, she was wonderful too… no complaints.

So I’ve been to the restaurant on multiple occasions and every single time I’m greeted with a kind, inviting greeter. The bar has a nice variety of choices & the place is always immaculately clean. Food wise, the wait hasn’t been long for me & it’s always hot & delicious. Some think that some of the entrées are a bit pricey but between service & food, it’s totally worth it.

I originally have a good review but after highly recommending this place to family members I was embarrassed and ashamed after this last visit. We ran out of drink. It rook me 30 minutes to get my Perfect Margarita and when I finally got it, it was far from perfect. It was watered down where it had sat forever before I got it. I ordered steak medium rare and it was cooked well done. The waitress asked if we wanted some more bread and we informed her that she never brought us any. I don’t know if they changed management or if management was just MIA today.

4 stars for the Goldsboro scale. Probably the best restaurant and best service we’ve encountered in this town. Food is actually pretty good. Plenty of good options besides steak, if you’re not feeling red meat. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We had eaten here before when it first opened and hadn’t been back because it just wasn’t that great and the service was terrible. But on Sept. 14, 2015 we thought we give it another go. It was about 2pm and the parking lot was empty. As soon as we walked through the door an awful smell hit us. The only way I can describe it would be as if you had left wet clothes in the washing machine and forgot about them for 2 days. Just a stale very unpleasant smell. We immediately turned around and left. We will never go back.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight and it was good as it always is. The service is always pleasant and efficient as well. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was good except it was smothered in a sauce along with a dipping sauce on the side. The calamari itself was tender and tasty but the sauce (s) were overpowering. My husbands steak as well as mine were both cooked to our liking. Hubs rib eye however was wonderful compared to my sirloin. I usually choose the filet which you can never go wrong with here (in my opinion)! All in all another satisfying visit. My only complaint is the size and options on the menu. I feel that the menu could be expanded a bit with more options for salads, sandwiches, and seafood.

The food at Longhorns never disappoints. Always get exactly what I order, the way I ordered it. Perfectly seasoned steaks and fresh veggies for their sides. Waitstaff is also on par and pleasant. One of my favorite spots to get a steak from a chain restaurant.

I have to say the service was great tonight. We were here last week and the service was terrible. Tonight we came at 4 and food and service was great. Last week we were here at like 9pm. I know that was late and the manager compensated well for it, but I did not let the one night discourage us from coming back. Tonight I ordered the Shrimp and lobster chowder soup, it was awesome. Then I ordered the dinner portion of Four cheese pasta with shrimp and lobster. Let’s just say the portion was huge and I had to take some to go. My husband ordered a renegade sirloin with parmesean crust and it was cooked perfect. Definitely would come back.

The first few visits to this fairly «new to Goldsboro» chain location were good, then the service and food quality took a turn for the worse. We stopped visiting about a year ago, and decided to give them a try since we got a gift card for Christmas.
When we first walked in, the hostesses were less than friendly to my wife, and upon sitting at the bar to wait for a table, the bar staff seemed less than enthused — in fact, everyone seemed to hate their job. Needless to say, based the first few minutes of the visit, we thought «here we go again.»
However, things started to turn around once we got the notification our table was ready — it was exactly the wait time they estimated. Our server was extremely friendly and on point with everything, from being prompt with drinks (even from the bar) and refills, knowing the menu, getting the order right, and being on time with the check. The manager that brought out our food was friendly, and gladly brought out some special condiments when asked.
All that being said, food was the star during this visit, which was a complete turnaround from our previous visits. It’s hard to brag on a good salad, but their chopped salad was fresh and had the perfect blend of lettuce and fresh veggies, and the dressings were also very good. The chicken dish my wife had and the pork chops I had were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Even the sides were bursting with flavor and not overcooked (which you find a lot at steakhouses and barbecue joints in the south).
I’m not sure what they’ve done in the past year, but at least based on this visit, they’ve changed our minds… I think we’ll be back frequently.

Arrived with a group of eight with no reservation, had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Service was friendly and accommodating and the food was very good. I’ll go again.

I have no idea why people gave five stars to this «steakhouse.» My wife and I ordered medium steaks and received low grade dog food steaks, one well done the other rare. Both were tough, rubbery and flavorless. The drinks we ordered were also watered down and overpriced. It’s a shame they call themselves a Texas steakhouse. If you want a good steak in Goldsboro, as crazy as it sounds, go to Applebee’s.

My family and I arrived here from our previous base in England. We were so excited to be able to eat in a real, American steakhouse again, just a couple minutes drive from the base!
Our waiter was quick to bring us our drinks, bread and take our order. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 which was $ 39.99. It came with two really good sized salads (we got the cobb salad), two sides, a huge porterhouse steak with the steak sauce made table side, along with a head of roasted garlic. DELICIOUS. The multigrain bread was so good, our steak was cooked at a perfect medium, baked potato was yummy, steak sauce was divine and the garlic to top it off, perfection. We really enjoyed our meal and will be sure to come back next time we are craving a yummy steak.

Ok, I ordered a bone-​in ribeye because I love it with the bone «in» (meat is usually juicier with the bone in). But guess what? I don’t get a bone-​in ribeye. I only realized this later after I ate like a quarter of the steak already. Anyway, after I paid the bill and all, I told the waitress a-​matter-​of-​factly that she actually gave me a «bone-​less» ribeye. I expected her to say that she didn’t notice it when she served it to me. But no, she said she had thought so. And she didn’t even bother sending it back before serving it to me??? I consider this poor service. I was going to order the smaller ribeye but changed my mind when she told me they got the pricier bone-​in ribeye and you serve me a «bone-​less» one?
