Open 24 hours– the food is what you’d expect. The only real criticism I have is that sometimes the food tastes like it’s been sitting out(temperature isn’t up to par). Either way, I’m glad there’s something open late when I’m starving and don’t want to cook.

McDonald’s are generally all pretty similar in quality of food and this one food-wise is just fine. The reason it’s two stars is because of the drive-through. Usually I get a nice lady, but this last time I got a girl who was extremely rude. So bad in fact I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location. Not worth it

This Mcdonald’s has good food. But the drive thru sucks. The only reason I went to this Mcdonald’s was because it was on on my way home from the airport and I was craving hashbrowns and a mcgriddle. Come to find out when I get to the drive thru that«breakfast all day» means LIMITED breakfast menu all day. Stupid. No Mcgriddle for me. So I ordered my Hashbrowns. When I got to the second window they told me to pull up to the yellow line and they would bring my hashbrowns out to me. Well I sat at the yellow line for 10 min, then they brought out the wrong order. Another 5 minutes passed and they finally brought out the correct order. 15 minutes for hashbrowns? Seriously? The only way they were able to redeem themselves was they brought out a crumpled coupon for a free cheeseburger with my hashbrowns.

BADFOOD! This McDonalds really kicks it old school complete with vintage fiber glass and orange Naugahyde booths, and groovy orange flower pot lamps, pretty cool. The menu was also featuring some of McDonalds newer products so I though so might try one… So the PROBLEM here is the FOOD, or at least the healthy stuff. I got the Asian Salad to go. It looked very strange when I opened the cover. Pea pods were warm, mandarin orange slices were warm and watery. The lettuce mix was supposed to be healthier with greens and kale, it was 99% head lettuce. Unfortunately I paid for the salad with chicken cause that was horrible too. How do they mess this up? It tasted off and smelled like fish. I took one bite of it and a few of the lettuce and had to toss it. What a waste of $ 5.69! It was my dinner… bummed!

Issues that I’ve had with this location over time: 1) The drive thru is extremely slow especially during the late evening. I had to literally wait 10 minutes even though my car was the ONLY car in the drive thru. Seriously?! 2) From other experiences coming to this McDonald’s, the manager is very rude and inconsiderate to his customers. Once I got a dipped cone and it had a huge dent in the middle of it and was dripping all over my hand when the employee handed it over to me. I asked the manager for a new one and he gave me a nasty look and asked«What’s wrong with it?!» I asked politely for a new dipped come and he made one that dripped just as much… thanks 3) The main reason why I’m writing a review now after all of these incidents is that I ordered a Chicken Wrap and happened to find a piece of hair! Gross. This is unacceptable! I have a photo showing it. TIP: The McDonald’s at the Marketplace center on Goleta has much better service and quality of food.

2.5 stars. It’s McDonald’s, so you know exactly what you’re getting here; for the most part, it’s clean and consistently offers the typical Mickey D’s experience. I’ve never had a problem eating here. The only reason I’m reviewing it is to point out the historical significance of this store: it’s the birthplace of the Egg McMuffin. Yes, the ubiquitous breakfast sandwich was invented here, a few miles from the beach.

Well, usually I just drive through here for a dollar soda but last Saturday I actually went in to buy some oatmeal too. I ordered and the guy at the register asked me if I wanted brown sugar with that. I’ve ordered oatmeal dozens of times at different McDonald’s and never been asked that so I thought maybe he meant… if I wanted something different than the usual oatmeal. I politely declined. Well, brown sugar is definitely something that’s normally in the oatmeal. I found that out when I tried mine and it was plainer than plain. Okay, so he asked and I declined. I’ll take the blame for that, but the oatmeal also wasn’t mixed properly and had several pockets of uncooked dry oatmeal. Bad. I had purchased 2 soft drinks and filled them myself at the soda machine. I got a Diet Coke for me, and a Coke for my friend. She took one sip and said, «This is Dr. Pepper.» I know I filled it correctly… she mentioned that this is not the first time she has had this happen at this location. Thankfully Dr. Pepper is among her favorite sodas so she was fine with it. My Diet Coke tasted a bit watery/thin. But seriously… The women’s restroom was fine. The food was not very good and the soda was the wrong kind. Overall not a great visit. Pros: Bathroom was clean and usable. Staff was polite. Restaurant was clean.

The only reason I gave one star is because of the Store Manager Miguel. I have never been to a business where the store manager yells at the employees in front of customers and other employees. This guys needs to be fired for having no respect for others. I can not believe he is a store manager! I wish I had my phone with me to take a video of the«store manager» yelling like a maniac.

I seriously hate this McDonald’s. I honestly don’t know how to properly express the amount of hatred I have for this specific McDonald’s. I hate them so much that I will get the fuck up out of my car and get my own food, rather than having to deal with the frustration of order in that ‘disgusting drive-thu ever again. Obviously I’m not asking for five star service, but I am expecting a bit more professionalism from an employee of a multi-billion dollar corporation. Especially when you have only ONE customer. Not only did the woman on the receiving side of my order take her precious time to greet me and ask for my order, but I had to repeat myself several times on pretty much everything I ordered. It was so bad that I waited to get to the window to order my drink and I still had to repeat myself with that. TWICE. Now, I’m not bitching about some fast food drive-thru manager’s apparent hearing/attention deficiency, that was not the tip of the iceberg. This much hatred fueled somewhere between ordering food from someone with an attitude problem and spending money on an order that was 100% screwed up and cold. I was their only customer, how could two people fuck up one single order so hard and have an attitude problem towards me? I even gave the lady 75 cents because she couldn’t just give me two extra ranches. Every single time I have ever gone through this drive-thru I have been sorely disappointed. I wish I could give negative stars.

Only reason why I like this Mc Donalds so much is because there is a drive thru. But I don’t know how I feel about them not being able to split more than 2 orders. But they never fail on making good iced coffee!

being broke is no joke but as long as there is 99 cent double cheeseburgers you will never go hungry, i mean really 99 cent double cheeseburgers, nothing more needs to be said
