Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The bearded, overweight sandwich maker should not work a job in which he interacts with people. I have never seen this person before, yet felt like he wanted to fight and kick me out of the place. I could not have imagined a more uninviting employee. I regretted having to pay for my meal, as the wretched customer service diminished my appetite. I hope I never have to run into this heinous, unstable human being again. I’ll do business with the Subway in Goleta instead.

I go in there to buy a sandwich and faced quite possibly the most traumatizing experience of my life. The employee working there almost refused to give more onions and showed a general lack of respect and cheeriness that I have come to expect and appreciate from this fine establishment. I was going to purchase a $ 25 gift card to surprise my wife for our 25th anniversary, and now I fear she will divorce me. Things haven’t been going that well lately, and I know this will just be the cherry on top to the end of our marriage. Sure the sex hasn’t been the greatest but we’ve been working with a counselor and at least I have been seeing some improvements. And to top it all off her parents just filed for bankruptcy and are now living in our already cramped studio apartment. I just know they have been feeding the idea of divorce to her when I am not around. Like things weren’t strained enough when she lost the baby. So to defuse the situation and hopefully earn some brownie points with her I wanted to get her this thoughtful gift and tasty sandwich. And now I can’t. TL;DR: Subway ruined my marriage.

Deltopia night 1:00AM– the line at Freebirds was around the corner, and Subway is right across the street. The line was about 4 people deep. The staff resembled an assembly line. My sandwich was crafted so fast, and I was very impressed. In and out in no time. In addition to the speedy service, my sandwich was good too.

This places charges you to toast the bread of a hot sandwich and does not inform you. Never going back and will actively suggest to others to do the same.

Terrible, went here once, the guy behind the counter acted like he wanted to fight me. Told me if I had any complaints to contact the owner. Totally piss poor attitude, will NEVER visit this subway again.

Its subway. This establishment is really a hit or miss depending on who is making the subs. I have had two completely different situations here. One was terrible toppings. It looked like someone just vomited on a sandwich and charged me $ 8 for it. The other time everything was in good portions and the sandwich was great but they charged me for the wrong one. I would say just go to IV deli mart and get a sandwich there.

STAYAWAY from this place. I don’t know why the employees here find it so hard to make a sandwich. YOUWORKATSUBWAY, EVERYTHINGISALREADYDONEFORYOU. Slicing, toasting, and baking are all automated here, so it’s a wonder that they screw up the sandwich in the one area they have control over. I thought I just had a bad experience, but it happens EVERYTIME I come here. Employees act like they’re in a huge rush(even with no line), scrambling and running and throwing their arms around like there’s a fire! They literally throw all of the toppings on while asking you about the next step(i.e., cheese or toasting) but then forget what you said anyways. Then since they think they’re in such a rush, they squeeze the sandwich together(completely messing up all the toppings and squeezing them basically off the sandwich), and cut it «in half»(but I think they forget where they are or what they’re doing, because they never cut the sandwich in the middle, and they NEVER cut it all the way through, meaning uneven halves if you’re splitting it and having to tear the sandwich apart which screws up the ends). Now the funny part. Even though the sandwich-making process is so rushed, once the sandwich is thrown at the register ITJUSTSITSTHERE. I’ve literally walked out of this Subway and left my sandwich sitting at the register after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to ring me up. I wanted to take it and leave, but then I’d be stealing and I’d be in the wrong. Dammit Subway, why can’t you hire competent employees? If they would just care an inch more about the damn food there, maybe you would be able to support your business based on QUALITY and not on CHEAPNESS. Yuck! I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately that isn’t an option for us on Unilocal

My vegetarian bf at the time would often get sandwiches here because they’re pretty healthy. His sandwich of choice: «The Veggie Delite: a delightfully crunchy combination of garden fresh lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, olives and pickles and your choice of condiments served on freshly baked bread. It’s like a salad sandwich.» I remember getting a meatball sub here once a long time ago. It was filling. Eh, ok. I’m not really into sandwiches unless they’re mouth-wateringly to-die-for, so to speak. «Meatball Marinara: a generous helping of Italian-style meatballs bathed in Subway’s own tangy marinara sauce(our founder’s mom’s secret recipe) served hot with your choice of fresh vegetables and condiments on freshly baked bread. Mangia!» (Psst, descriptions of sandwiches from )
