Great spot to grab a quick meal. I’ve recently started getting the Orange chicken. ITISTHEBOMB! you can keep your steak and shrimp, I’m the orange chicken guy now. Family always gets steak and shrimp — always good. Plus there’s the white sauce!

After a quick trip to Bi-Lo I walked out and noticed a sign that reads«HIBACHI» — «awesome, that sounds good for lunch» I thought. I went in to discover that it’s mainly a chinese restaurant that happens to serve about 10 «hibachi» items. «Oh well, I’m already here so I’ll give it a shot» is what I thought… I wish I hadn’t. Once I returned to work and opened my to-go box I i was immediately disappointed. The chicken and rice both looked very dry and the chicken was colorless. I tried the chicken first and it was just as it looked, dry. The flavor was no where close to any other hibachi I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what their«hibachi» sauce is but it seemed like it wan’t much more than straight soy sauce. After eating about ¼ of the portion of chicken and having to drench it in white sauce I gave up and moved on to the rice. The rice was bland, dry, and flavorless. I ate about ¼ of the rice, again drenched in white sauce and gave up on it as well. Then I moved on to the vegetables, which were good but not great… edible at least. I finished the vegetables and threw the rest away. Highly disappointed that I spent close to $ 10 on this and threw almost all of it away. Needles to say I will not be returning and I will be spreading the word for others to pass on this as well. If you want good hibachi in North Charleston or Hanahan take the extra time to brave Rivers Ave and go to Hibachi Hut instead.

Love this place! My husband and I always grab a takeout order here. The hibachi chicken and rice is good and so is the egg drop soup!

This is more of a take-out place. I asked whether their dishes were served with white or dark meat, as I am a finicky eater. After revealing they only use dark meat in their chicken dishes, I asked whether I could have white meat. For an extra charge, they accommodated my request. Pros: Service was quick and food was piping hot. The vegetables were delicious(including the rice); The portion was huge! The white sauce served on the side is delicious! Cons: The meal was extremely salty; The Vegetable Roll I ordered was deep fried with a thick wrapper and did not contain vegetables(?!) The«chicken breast» for which I paid extra had a strange slimy texture. I took a few bites and discarded the rest. Overall I am glad I went because now I know I won’t go back :-)

Not the best In it’s category but for what it’s worth and where it is, I do have a special taste for this place. The steamed dumplings are VERY good and so is the general Tso’s chicken and the egg rolls. The place is always consistent and is very rarely more than a 10 – 15 minute wait from ordering. One last thing to note is the family that runs it is hard working and very nice. Definitely on my list of frequent restaurants for many reasons.

After all of my neighbors recommended this place for good Chinese food, we checked it out this weekend. Someone managed to find a menu at their house, which was really helpful. I scoured the internet and never found an image of their menu. Although, spoiler alert, if you have any other Chinese take-out menu, it’s pretty much the exact same thing. I went for the General Tso chicken, husband got the Kung Po; also got steamed dumplings. I have to say, it was pretty tasty! I’d say a little above average that the take-out we had back in Indy. I’ll definitely keep this in the back pocket for nights I don’t want to cook!

My Wife and I have ordered from here several times. The food is great and service is quick. Four stars instead of five simply cause some dishes are phenomenal(general tso and lo mein) but others are just above average(Mongolian beef and chicken wings). We are eager to discover more gems in the menu and will continue to come back. I would recommend it.

Name is misleading. They serve Chinese Food. The«hibachi» menu consists of only a few items. I would give them a 2 star, but since they make their own tasty fried rice, which is hard to find at Chinese takeout, I decided to honor them with another star. The food is always fresh and the price is great, and the location is very near, so we always end up going back here.

This place was empty during lunch hour on a Thursday. While I waited for my order, a couple guys came in for phone order take out. My wait wasn’t long at all. The fried dumplings were greasy. One broke open and about a spoonful of grease poured out. The sweet/sour chicken was good, but exactly like any other Chinese restaurant, as was the pork fried rice. Nothing special. Nothing to go out if your way for. It’s quick and fills the belly. Restaurant was clean, but obvious wear on the tables and counter.

For around here, pretty good takeout Chinese/Japanese food. The Japanese selection is very limited, as they are Chinese people cooking it. They have a cheap lunch special that comes with fried rice and a couple pieces of broccoli. I usually order the general Taos chicken. It is labeled as spicy, but it isn’t. It’s got enough sweetness that I like.

I work not far from this place and I love getting their hibachi or teriyaki chicken meal. As someone else mentioned, it comes with fried rice, veggies and a drink. They give me enough food that I have leftovers for lunch again so pretty cheap considering it’s just over $ 8. The side of vegetables are zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms. I ask for no onions automatically so I’m not sure if those are a part of the veggies or not. You also get 3 small containers of «white sauce». Honestly if I didn’t exercise sell-restraint, I’d shovel down the whole thing and be miserable for the rest of my work day. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried the Chinese and my cube mate always gets food off of the Chinese menu and enjoys it. I just can’t recall what I thought so at the very least it must not have been crappy! I used to order from the Chinese menu because I wasn’t sure if the Hibachi was any good but once I tried it, I haven’t gone back to their Chinese items.

As far as take out Chinese this is pretty good for the area. Is everything good, nope! It took a few times to find what and not to order. Now that I know their strengths it’s my go to Chinese takeout. This is not really a Hibachi place so the name is definitely misleading. We only order their general tso, sesame chicken, lo mein, and/or Krab Rangoon. For a while there they were over cooking everything and the lo mein always tasted burnt. Lately things have been spot on.

It’s ok. Not a place I would visit again. The food was not great. I should of just stayed home and cooked. I have definitely had much better cooking at home.

It’s not really a Chinese food place, but its not Japanese either. I went with some friends during lunch, not expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. They serve a mix of Japanese and Chinese dishes. I had the Chicken teriyaki dish which was really good and had a lot of chicken. It also came with fried rice(odd since teriyaki normally comes with white rice), some grilled veggies, and a drink. For 8 bucks, its not a bad deal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for lunch.

I was expecting Hibachi but I come to find out it was just a regular Chinese take out. There are 7 Hibachi items on the menu. That was the most disappointing. Also the Hibachi they had was horrible. But the regular Chinese food is ok.
