I hate to leave negative reviews but I’m afraid my experience here merits it. I left an amp to be repaired or to sell and his repair guy was going to let me know what he thought. I was moving in 2 ½ weeks but the owner promised to let me know by the end of the week. Two weeks later and about to move I still don’t have an answer and am not receiving a call back. Finally 1 ½ days before I am moving out of state I get a call that says he will buy it from me at a price I agree to. I come the next day, the day before I am moving(!) and learn upon showing up that no, he won’t pay me that amount he promised(only half as much) and also doesn’t have my amp there for me to take! I took the money because I felt like I had no choice, leave with nothing or leave with this check of half the amount. It was the owners responsibility to either have my amp back to me before I moved which he knew I was doing — and really the week prior as promised — or to pay me the agreed amount. His repair guy changed his mind last minute on the amp’s worth but once you quote a price as an owner and especially because he didn’t reach me to let me know before I drove all the way out there AND because my amp was not there for me to take… it felt kind of like he stole my amp.

Dave Gast the owner sells factory seconds, rejects, and broken instruments as if they’re new. Very unscrupulous. Stay away from this place unless you like being cheated.

This place has old instruments and new instruments. Today I got a new acoustic guitar for about $ 130. It is an oscar schmidt by washburn. I stopped by the shop ever now and then because they have lots of great deals and lots of old stuff coming in sometimes. 20 bucks for 1 half hour lessons on guitar. This is a cool place and the guys who work here know their stuff, and make you feel at home.
