Gorman Motorsport Rentals

Gorman Motorsport Rentals are the absolute best, no exaggeration! I went with a large group over the weekend and everything was taken care of by the Gorman folks without any worries. All of the equipment was clean, affordable, and fun to ride! The entire process was made easy by the friendly (and family) staff! If you plan to ride in the area, go to Gorman. It’s the fastest, cheapest, and smartest decision you can make! Thanks again for all of your help guys!

Gorman Motorsports Rentals is as good as it gets. Previously, I’ve rented bikes from other outfits, that I will restrain from mentioning. The equipment was always in need of repair, boots had to be duct taped on, and the equipment never felt safe. Well Gorman Motorsports is the complete opposite.
This past weekend (5−21−16) we went out with a big group. Gorman had a bike for all the skill sets in our group (beginner, intermediate, and maybe advanced). They even had some bigger bikes if we were feeling like we had something to prove. The owners (I’m assuming and his family) are always nice and easy to talk to. Since I have a small car, they offered to take some of the gear in addition to the bikes over to the launching spot, which was super nice, since my car looked like 12 circus clowns were about to pop out of it. When we got there, I was inspecting the bikes just because I ride motorcycles and love all things 2 wheels. I could see that the chains were perfectly cleaned and there was a new clutch gasket recently installed. I mean, the bikes look brand new. Obviously, they’ve seen some dirt, but the level of maintenance and care given to these bikes just isn’t found from other rental companies. Maybe it doesn’t sound that important, but when I’m in the middle of the woods or ripping up some steep dirt trail, I want to be on the bike that isn’t going to let me down.
In addition to the bikes being in great shape, the equipment is all really clean, which is nice when you are about to slap on a helmet 50 other people have worn. All the goggles, gloves, helmets, and boots looked like they had just been washed. Hell they look better than my regular motorcycle riding gear.
So, long story still long. This place is great, the owners are great, and the bikes and riding are great. Honestly, after renting from other places and then coming here, I won’t even plan a dirt biking trip unless it’s going to be at Gorman. Thanks again man, had a great time!

This group is outstanding all around. It’s a family business, so that’s worth supporting alone, but they got everything else right too.
The rental gear is cheap and excellent, clean and is plenty new. (The helmets looked brand new and didn’t smell like dudes).
The bikes were great. There were four of us and everything was all set when we pulled up. Nice. Professional. Helpful.
If you have never been, it’s a great spot.

These guys are great! They take care of you in a polite professional manner! Bikes are in great running condition and they take time to make sure you are up and comfortable on your rental. I will be going back soon!

Spent the weekend out here 2 weeks ago with my friends. 4 of us were newbie riders. The younger guy, Johnny, had impeccable customer service skills and I would highly recommend his capabilities. He was never judgmental and was extremely patient with everyone that was riding. He also would go quickly to help people when they were in a bad situation. Dude has top notch ability. He’s an incredible asset to this business and I hope they treat him well.
The rentals were straightforward. All gear included. Bikes were in good shape and taken care of. They seem to take some abuse by new riders yet are in good condition for everyone that rents them.

Had a great day exploring Hungry Valley on 1÷31÷15 with the bike provided by Glory and John. My DRZ 400 was well maintained and gave me no trouble all day. The park had every type of trail you could want for every skill level. We lucked out that it rained three days prior to our trip because conditions were perfect. Hope to return soon.

I took my family of 5 first time riders out this weekend, and we had a great time. We have kids 5, 8, and 10. The 5 year old wasn’t ready to ride yet, and the 8 year old girl took a few laps and decided it wasn’t her «thing». But the 10 year old and I did great. Most importantly, John and his family made it a pleasant experience, without too many rules and regulations, but support when we needed it. We had a couple of technical snaffus, but that’s expected with motorbikes. They were flexible and accommodating of our lack of expertise. We’ll be back!

This place is the best! I rented an ATV from them last year. The service was amazing! John met us at the riding site with the ATV and then came to pick it back up right on time. I just wish they were open during the week because I work most weekends. But regardless they still get 5 stars. I can’t complain. I’ll definitely be back.

John runs an awesome rental service! We’ve rented dirt bikes from him twice an it’s been a blast. Convenient and affordable service. You just pay for your bike and safety gear at the office, and drive into the park to pick up your bike! You can ride from 8 am to 5 pm.
John has a variety of Honda dirt bikes in different sizes so you can get a good match for you height and skill level. I tried a 150cc for the first time and a had no problems with a 230cc on the second trip.

Amazing place and great people! Quality atvs and bikes! Great land and trails for riding! Will come back many more times!

My wife, adult daughter and I used Gorman Motorsport Rentals for the first time yesterday. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. Gorman Motorsports is owned/​run by a hardworking family man named John. He has a fairly wide assortment of well maintained quads and dirt-​bikes to accommodate every age group.
My wife and daughter rode quads and I rented a Honda 400 dirt-​bike. I have to say that I have rented before and it’s not always a pleasant experience as rented equipment can oftentimes be beat and barely trail-​worthy. Our three vehicles ran strong and problem free. I was impressed.
I can’t say enough about John himself. He’s a humble, decent, honest, hardworking guy who will bend over backwards to make sure that you and your family’s adventure is both fun and problem free.
For a very minimal $ 5.00 fee you get all the safety equipment you may want to ride safely consisting of a full faced helmet, motorcycle boots, goggles, elbow pads, knee pads and gloves. All you have to do is show up and he’ll have everything ready for you. Whether or not you chose wear it is entirely up to you. You will not have to worry about anything as he delivers and picks up the vehicles you’ve chosen himself. The vehicles will arrive with a full tank of gas and ready to ride. John will unload the vehicles and then very patiently give you a short tutorial on each vehicle’s operation before sending you off to explore the park.
I can’t recommend this company enough. My family and I had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to go again.

We came and rented seven vehicles to ride in Hungry Valley SVRA. They offer a wide range of vehicles (as seen on their website) at attractive prices. Helmet and boots are just a little bit more, and you get gloves, goggles, and elbow and knee protectors included. They definitely try to take care of you here.
The vehicles all ran well. John took care of the three newbie riders in our group, and they all were able to pick it up and have a lot of fun. When you ride dirt, eating dirt happens and one bike’s clutch lever got snapped off. We simply had to bring it back to the parking area and they got a new clutch lever on it right away, at a completely reasonable charge. When the day is done, we had the convenience of being able to return the vehicles and gear at the parking area instead of going back to the office just to return it.
They can be a bit difficult to contact. Just leave your number and expect a call back a bit later to make your reservation. Yes, you definitely need to make one to ensure you get your vehicle. Even with our reservations, one of our riders had trouble managing the bike at first and had to swap to a smaller one, which they accommodated. Based on our experience, they deserve our repeat business.

I don’t know how I’m just getting to this review BUT let me assure you, this is the place to be. This place is perfect, bikes priced right and not bad at all. I had a suzuki 250 electric start and my boy had a Honda 250 both performed very well. We rode hard for 6.5 hrs and didn’t have a problem! I highly recommend and will be back myself…

We were here a year ago, flew down from Seattle to ride. Of course we had reservations and we did bring our own gear, but gear is available, if you need it, for a small charge. The park is amazing, such a different riding experience for us as we are used to very rocky conditions.
Nice variety of bikes/​quads to choose from so there is something for every skill level and you will have a great time!
John is a perfect host and will make sure you are comfortable and ready to go, very responsive to any issues and ready to help! Looking forward to our next trip, just booked, for the end of April!
Oh…and they are not kidding when they say you can drive up, ride, and leave!

Heard about this place from a friend. (We had been going to Mojave before that, way further and pricier) Ive been on a few bikes when I was younger but mainly quads so I was really nervous about riding a dirt bike.
When my bf and I arrived the owners wife, Glory helped us out. She was really nice and answered any questions we had as well as helped us pick out some gear.
Once we got out to the riding grounds we met up with the owner John who gave me a run down on dirt biking. He let us know he would stay there for five minutes or the full four hours, whatever it took for me to feel comfortable which was cool. Fortunately a few minutes later I was good to go but we felt absolutely comfortable calling if we needed anything.
We have gone back again and each time its always the same thing: great price, amazing service, fun times. I highly recommend these guys 100% and we will def be heading back here again and again.

I rented a quad for my girl and a 70 for my son, the service and experience were great fast and easy, I’ve since got the boy a 70 and at the last second needed a brake lever. I called them up and he was more then willing to take care of me out of his own supply. Great guy

Rented a Crf230x. Bike runs great. Comes with knee and elbow pad. Helmet and boots $ 5 each. Staff are very friendly.
I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

We used them last weekend for a 150 for myself. They were great. Went above and beyond with great service. Makes it real easy with them delivering the bike to the campsite. Can’t wait to use them again.

My wife surprised me for my bday and reserved bikes and gear for me and 3 buddies. None of us had ever ridden before. John the owner is the nicest guy. He taught us how to ride then hung out for a while to make sure we had the hang of it. The bikes were is perfect condition and the gear was rock solid. It was so easy and crazy fun!
