Best Western

This Best Western is a pretty decent place to crash for a night or a month. The general area is clean and well maintained, there is a grill outside to cook some dinner, the landscaping was well kept. There is a gym with cardio equipment and a pool with a hot tub.
The Room: The room I stayed in had a king size bed that was comfortable enough, though a little soft for my taste. The pillows were very lumpy and not comfortable at all. The shower was always hot when I used it and had good water pressure. The water didn’t seem to get all of the soap off of my body or out of my hair, but that might just be how the water is in this area. There was also a large flat screen, a desk, alarm clock, a fridge and microwave, plenty of lights and power outlets.
The Verdict: I’ll definitely stay at this Best Western again if I’m in Granbury. Overall this hotel has all of the amenities that I want and very few draw backs.

Came to Granbury for a friend’s wedding, and you couldn’t ask for much more given the price of $ 80/​night. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a small indoor pool and fitness center (with a Bowflex) as well as complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The lobby and hallways were clean, well-​lit and spacious. Staff was courteous, but then again, what else would you expect in Texas?

My daughter will fit into both the washer and dryer at this location. Just in case that’s important to you.
For the price it was a good choice. $ 99 for a suite. However, it’s really just an over-​sized room with a sofa/​kitchenette area, so no real division between the two areas in case you wanted to put the kids in bed and stay up to watch television.
There’s only on television – probaby why they don’t divide the two areas – and they do not have ppv movies. They have an old school DVD/​VHS player. They have a library of really bad B-​rate film in the candy shop. There’s a Red Box across the street at the Kroger. I know most folks do not go out of town to watch a movie, but with kids it’s really fun to do the late night popcorn-​in-​the-​room and watch-​a-​current-​movie thing.
The pool is indoors but it was so steamy in there you didn’t really want to use it. There is a hot tub if you don’t mind sweltering.
Work-​out room, business center, candy shop, laundry room all avail and there’s a free breakfast thing – all of which we didn’t try. Well, my daughter did get inside the washer and dryer so we sort of tried that.
