Really friendly staff and great selection of the «LOVE» Michigan logo with the mitten as the «v». I got a short and long sleeved t-shirt plus a sticker there. I was sad they were out of the «smitten with the mitten» t-shirt but they also had a good selection of hoodies. The other side of the shop had a ton of toys and is super kid friendly.

Very very cool place. Located in downtown Grand Haven, my family has visited on all four of our Michigan vacations. This place I’d different than walking into Target or some other big box garbage-there are so many varieties of board, card and imagination games. No electronics thank goodness.
Their staff is helpful and shows you an example of a game they are highlighting at the time-very helpful staff. Their kite selection is great. Several books as well. When I think of toy stores, this is what I think of.

This is a great independent toy shop. Check out all the classics– play mobiles, puzzles, TY. It also has a great selection of strategy games– catan, dominion, pandemic.

Ask for them to ship without requiring a signature. Was very difficult for me to receive my order since they required a signature in person. When I called them to ask if they could call UPS they said no.
After a $ 2500 order I expected better customer service.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went in to get a kite repaired and while we waited, one of the staff members broke out a card game my girlfriend was looking at. We all played it until the kite was ready and had so much fun we got the game as well. They have a great selection of games, better than what you’ll find at Meijer or other large store, plus a wide range of kites and clothing.

This store is packed with all kinds of great clothes and gear. Snowboards, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Surf Boards and Kiteboarding Gear.
They even have lessons and a staff that seems to ride and know about all their boards.

Good toy store — lots of creative items. Of most interest are the kites — they carry a good selection of kites, ranging from inexpensive to expensive, along with kite accessories.
Lots of creative learning toys for all ages too. Some skim board and boogey boards in variety of prices too, for beach goers.
If you’ve got kids and/or love kites, drop by. If you are there for the week, stop by early in your visit and find out what night they are doing a kite session on the beach!
(By the way — beach at Grand Haven is a great place to fly a kite — try walking south toward dog beach, where it gets a bit quieter.)
