Very slow service on a Wednesday with ½ the tables empty. Often you can get past this type of issue if the staff keeps you informed. It’s been more than an hour since we ordered and we’ve heard nothing. This is my last visit here.

My wife and I had dinner there with our son a few hours ago– I will be spending the evening regretting this decision. Our server was friendly enough and prompt with menus. I ordered a rum and diet(how do you mess that up??)-it came tasting like day old fire water. The cola was flat, no straw to mix it(who serves a drink with no straw or garnish?). For food we tried the«build your own mac n cheese, and the bbq cheddar burger.» Of the 3 ingredients my wife requested, only one actually made it into her dinner. My burger was over cooked and clearly a frozen patty. I can still taste the freezer on it an hour later. Needless to say, we passed on dessert. I would recommend passing by Old Chicago as well.

So I normally really enjoy old Chicago, but this last time in I was pretty disappointed. The salads that we ordered with the meal were in white dishes that really look like they should have been replaced a couple years ago. The lettuce had a bit of nasty parts that I had to pick out. My wife ordered a new one of new pizzas and that was good. I ordered a old Chicago seven Stromboli and man I could not eat it because it was over cooked and packed with pepperoni to a point of wastefulness, looked like they just grabbed a handful and packed it all together then shoved it in. I could count the poor three little pieces of sausage and the two mushrooms and five black olives and that was it. The server was Ok but had a handful with a different table so I left him alone. Just not what I remembered at all of this place. I normally always get a Chicago seven Stromboli or calzone and always loved it. Not sure what is happening in the kitchen, but after spending almost $ 65 on lunch for 2 adults and 1 child under two don’t think this will be on my list again, to bad as I really enjoy the beer selection.

It was… okay I guess. Sat in the bar and it was ridiculously loud even for a bar. The waitress we had was nice and attentive, but the food coming out was slow. And can I talk about the portions of the chicken tender platter!!! SMALL! There wasn’t even whole tenders… and not even a handful of fries.

Kitchen was slow but once the food got here, I was impressed. One of the best burgers I’ve had. I got the Crafted Beer Burger with a beer cheese sauce and onion strings. Not a fan of beer so I was a little leery of the cheese sauce but it was straight up deliciousness. Wanted to lick the plate. Luckily they were generous with it. Dad had a meat me calzone and said it was the best he had here. Slowness of the kitchen is the only reason they lost a star.

Hands down without a doubt the worst pizza i have ever had. In fact it was not only the worst pizza but the worst thing i have ever eaten. I would rather eat cockroaches than have their pizza again. Avoid this place like the plague cause thats what it feels like your eating. I would give this place negative 5 stars if i could.

Always love seeing the new beers they’re serving! Their staff is very friendly and really know their beers. And they do a great job supporting local breweries! This is definitely the best place in Grand Junction to get the biggest variety of CO beers on tap. I only wish they had a veggie burger on their menu.

Food was ok. Was not offered the«unlimited» salad or rolls my lunch was supposed to come with. Appetizers arrived 3 minutes before the food. Ok service. For the place opening the second we walked in the door, it looked as if the carpets weren’t bothered with. Eh. Ok. Just ok.

To be honest, we go here for the beer. However, the wings tonight were the bomb. Makes leaving BW3 even easier. And Monday Night Football on several screens. What more do we need?

I’m one of those guys that loves spicy food, but can’t handle the day after Elimination. So because of that, I search out the spicy flavor rather than the spicy heat. EUREKA!!! I just enjoyed the«Chicago Fire» Calzone and it was awesome! Pepperoni, salami, sweet Italian sausage, three Italian cheeses, red peppers, red onions and pepperoncini, not to mention a Jalapeño baked on top. It was to die for… If I didn’t pass up the jalapeño seeds I probably would have died. Luckily for me I know my limits. Sorry jalapeño. Not this time. I give this place a Schwarzenegger. I’ll be back…

Have been going to Old C’ for years. Always had good service and fast kitchen. Today is our third visit in three months and the kitchen speed has gone to painfully slow. Great wait staff in bar, but now have been waiting 45 minutes for our order for a table of three. Unacceptable! Won’t be coming back.

If I coud give them negative stars I would!!! First, happy hour is only in the bar and you will only find this out after your bill is delivered to your table with prices you were most certainly not expecting! The menus on the table say happy hour prices for drinks and appetizers but thats not what the bill will say! All the manager had to say was, «oh yeah we know that’s wrong and a lot of people complain about that.» It is not posted anywhere and no one warns you when you order off the happy hour menu that the prices do not apply to the restaurant. Second, there were bugs in our food!!! Nothing was comped or replaced when the bug was found! Third, not to mention the less than satisfactory service time after time. I WILLNEVERRETURN!!!

Fast service, great beer selection. Lots of pizzas to choose from, but I’ve had better Chicago-style pizza. They have a basic deep dish crust with cheese, then throw on various toppings to make it whatever sort of pizza you’ve ordered. The toppings are fairly skimpy and the crust is thick and doughy. I usually enjoy Chicago-style pizza for the thick layer of sauce and toppings, not for a mouthful of bread. There are other options on the menu other than pizza, like pasta, calzones, salads, desserts. The restaurant and food is not unique or extra-special. Just run-of-the-mill pizza without a long wait.

It’s a pizza bar trying to be something more. Service is hit or miss depending on who you get. The food is usually good and the beer choice is vast. Good palce to grab a beer and unwind, watch some sports and hang out with friends.

New to Grand Junction and decided to try Old Chicago. Service was friendly and fast. My husband enjoyed the beer tour and decided to become a card member. I had a large lemon drop, tasted great. We shared an appetizer of the Italian nachos, they were great. Also got a spicy BBQ chicken pizza deep dish. The crust was great nice and buttery and soft. Enjoyed the food. Will be sure to go back!

Saturday night 8÷17÷13… Go into old c’s in grand junction looking forward to a great date night with my beautiful wife. This is our regular hang out, home #2. We go in and the bar is busy, no big deal so we ask to be seated in the dining room. We are told that is will be a 25 minute wait… Normally no problem whatsoever, but there were 2 clean tables in sight and nobody in front of us in line… I asked«what about those tables?» «Can we sit at one of those??» Hostess: «no, they haven’t been cleaned off yet.» Not impressed. Heading to the ale house where they treat their regulars a bit better. Pick up your game old c’s! Called the restaurant to tell the management about what happened, and was told yet were too busy to speak with me…

My mother, my girlfriend and I ate here recently with very poor result. We were there on a busy Friday night. Service was very friendly and apologetic, but food took 45 minutes. When it arrived it was cold. We had to send my mother’s Chicken Parmesan back because it had a very strange flavor and consistency. The manager replaced her meal with a quickly-made pizza, just so she’d have something to eat that night. Later that night both my girlfriend and I had upset stomachs. We were both glad that we dodged the food poisoning bullet, but we will most likely never visit this restaurant again.

Terrible waitress tonight. She was busy talking to «a guy» most of the time we were there. She served us — poorly. She brought most everything asked for, yet I heard her flirting more than serving. Her sister was also busy giving«the guy» scoop about the desireable datee. I’ll make sure I don’t sit in her section again! A little less flirting, please. The«expo» guy, Boone, was terrific(and it’s was his 2nd day!) as well as the host and hostess.
