Best. Pizza. Ever. This place isn’t your normal Dominos or Pizza Hut. You order your pizza, they assemble it for you, and you take it home and bake it. I live fairly far from town, so getting pizzas that are already baked means pizza that isn’t really that hot when I get home. This way, I can just bake it at the house.
The garlic chicken is amazing. Even better, order the vegetarian and have them add chicken to it. Artichoke hearts on a pizza? Heck yes I will eat that, I will eat that all day long. In fact, this is one of the few places I’ve seen around here that has pizza with white sauce as opposed to your usual tomato variety. I do like their tomato sauce, but I prefer the white. The crust is tasty, pretty light, not saturated in butter or oil. They LOAD the pizzas with toppings.
I think what makes this place stand out is the whole take and bake aspect of it. A standard fast food pizza tastes like a standard fast food pizza. This? Doesn’t taste anything like that — it is ALWAYS going to be hot because you’re the one baking it, it is NEVER going to be sitting out because they don’t put the pizza together until you order it. They only take 18 minutes or so to bake at home, a little longer if you’re getting the stuffed crust.
Prices are a little more than your usual Dominos or Pizza Hut experience, but it totally doesn’t matter. It’s worth it. Call ahead to order — it doesn’t take long for them to put it together at the shop, but it’s way quicker to just call ahead. They’ll have it ready to go when you get there. I’ve never had to wait. I don’t order pizza anywhere else — «Do you want pizza» automatically translates to Papa Murphys at my house. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews, it’s fantastic.
