Splish Splash Car Wash

After years of being a customer of splish splash in Grand Junction Colorado I cancelled my service after I had my windshield broken on my brand new truck today. They refused to do anything about it stating how physics work on a chipped window when water hits it and then went on to explain why we have cracks in our roads in Colorado. Being 52 years of age I found the physics lesson from this young man to be insulting. Then he goes on to state this is what he was told in his training. This was a brand new truck with as near to perfect windshield as you would find. It wasn’t chipped or flawed. Today when the rotating brushes went down the passenger side of the truck it sounded different really slapping the truck hard. My wife and son noticed it as well. Because there was no smoking gun something stuck in the brush the didn’t think it was their fault. With all the rotating equipment it is certainly possible for something to picked up and be thrown at other vehicles. We watched their video and at their own admission the cameras will not give a clear view on a taller truck such as mine so with no proof they caused the damage the were fine with losing my buissnes which I have been a customer of since they opened. I found it very condescending his explanation of what happened and wanted to take me out to read the disclaimer in regard to broken windshields. I have had severely pitted windshields and have never broken one while washing my vehicle regardless of whether it was 100 degrees outside or freezing. Because of their refusal to make this right I will never use their service again. By their own logic if you have a windshield with any flaws or chips you run the risk of breaking your windshield. I will wash my vehicle by hand rather than run the risk of needing a $ 600 windshield after using splish splash because who among us doesn’t have some pitting in their windshield even on a brand new truck like mine, at least according to them.

Employees are great. Manager is horrible– immature at handling situations and extremely inexperienced to have that position. The one star is strictly due to management and it would be zero stars if Unilocal allowed it.

Always get a good clean car when I go here. Even when it is very busy, the line moves very well.
Personally, I love getting the monthly pass and just get my car cleaned whenever I drive by. If I pay by the visit, I end up waiting till my car is really dirty. The monthly pass is a pretty good deal.
I have to say, I haven’t tried the other car washes in town to compare. We went here and had such a good experience that we haven’t explored further.

The $ 11 Super Splash wash terrific. It got rid of 99% of the thousands of bugs we murdered over the course of a 1,500 mile drive.

Prompt service, great clean and FREE self service vacuum. Reasonable prices for a full service car wash.
This is a NEW facility and much more appealing as compared to the other options I found.

Was looking for a good car wash that we wouldn’t have to get out of the car. The staff was friendly and helped us pick the right car wash. We are going to get their $ 30 unlimited ultimate car wash that normally costs $ 13 each time. Definitely worth it!

The staff is extremely friendly and such good customer service! I forgot to take off my antenna and devil bat topper! They got it for me! I never left the car!

My car was a totally covered with dirt … came out great. Excellent price.
I had a Ohio State magnetic on the back and it came off when being washed. I am from S. CALIF. and did not notice it was gone till I got. back home.
I called them. They found it and are mailing it to me.

Wow! $ 10 bucks and a total E-​ride ticket for my kids!
Vacuuming stations FREE — say what? Yep Free and working like crazy — strap in your kids because it will suck up everything. Trash cans for your trash too!
Car mat cleaning station — say wat? Yep FREE mat cleaning machine actually washing and dries them!
Then for $ 10 bucks you get the full treatment and it worked! My car was filthy — truly from a over 1,500 miles of driving from four states and left shiny and happy!
The staff was also very kind and said — if it doesn’t come out the way you like it the first time — you can go through again. While my kids wanted me to go through again, just because it was fun — it came out very clean!
I’d love one of these in San Diego!

One of the funnest ways to get your car clean!

I went here with a friend who’s car hadn’t been washed in years, and her car came out looking pretty good, considering. Mine looks brand new after a $ 13 wash.
