HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH! Had my first ever volcan and elotes. I was in love. If I could have it everyday I probably would. I know Mexican desserts aren’t for everyone because of the spice, but I seriously love it. Volcan is like a mango slushie with a spicy red liquid at the bottom and on top, fresh diced mango on top, and a candy tamarind straw. It’s literally the perfect mix of spicy, sweet, and sour. If you’ve ever had pulparindo candy, it tastes like that to me, but so much better! Elotes is similar to say cream corn. It’s corn, mayo, sour cream I think, and chili powder. Either way whatever it was, it tasted amazing! I don’t even like mayo that much, but I seriously loved the corn. Prices are pretty reasonable so I recommend trying! My aunt got me hooked on it.

I love this place! I’m addicted to their elotes and volcan drink. It’s especially good right after working out.

They don’t take credit cards, ordered the fruit with yogurt. Was very disappointed! I paid $ 6.50 for it. Not going back not worth the drive and definitely not worth my money.

So glad a friend took me here. I got a Volcan. It’s a mango smoothie. Although, they ran out of mangos to include in the drink. It was still delicious and refreshing. The line was long and there was quite a wait. When a place is busy, it means it’s worth it. I also got to try the corn. Oh my goodness, it was full of creamy flavor and the corn was sweet. Can’t wait to come back and try other drinks and food.

The quality of their snacks is easily four stars. Their ice cream is good and their fruits are fresh. The hang ups with the place is that they only take cash, they are super slow and a little more expensive than some of the other similar competitors. This is a good place and I plan on coming back but hope they get a little more efficient

I love this place! I grew up around this area and didn’t know about this place until now!!!
I normally get their chamango! It’s $ 5.00 each and it’s perfect. They put enough flavor with the mango smoothie and very generous amount fresh mangos which I love. I will come back again to take more pictures and maybe order more on the menu.

Its crazy how much I love this place. I’ve had only their mango loco and elote corn, but I keep going back for the mango locos.
They have a huge variety to offer and they all look very appetizing. I feel like ordering everything and chowing them down, I might someday!
They have ice creams, nachos, smoothies, popsicles, elotes etc. I even saw a guy biting onto what looked like a mexican pizza. My mouth watered. I’ll be going in again!
Oh btw, their ice creams and popsicles looks fancy like the kinds they sell at specialty stores: with chunks of fruits and seemingly less processed.

I love this place. They have seating outside, especially nice for enjoying cold smoothies during the Texas summers. My family and friends visit this place very often. Very friendly staff. The bionico is my favorite thing to order. (Cash only)

Food: One of the few places in Arlington that serves a decent chamango/​mangoneada/​vulcan whatever you wanna call it. It consists of a perfect blend of sweetness to tangy chili with some mango chunks, ice, and those tamardind sticks! They used to only sell them for around $ 5 but now they have a smaller size for about $ 3.40 which is perfect for me on a hot day while I’m running errands. Their elotes is pretty awesome too because they use frozen corn instead of the canned ones so it’s still crunchy and not soggy when you bite into it. I would definitely recommend!
Atmosphere: small hole in the wall place that you would miss unless you’ve heard about this place from someone.
Staff: very friendly and most speak english, at least well enough to know what you want to order.

I absolutely love this place. It is great for when you want a quick and inexpensive dessert. They sale a variety of sweets from Mexican candies to ice cream.
Whenever I am craving a Mangonada/​Volcan, Paleteria El Kiosko is my go-​to spot. The best thing about the Mangonada here compared to other places is that they add big chunks of mango on top! Do not hesitate to buy an extra tamarind straw, it adds so much flavor to the drink.
Keep in mind there is a bit of a language barrier and it is CASH only! The wait is usually not a problem for me but it can get pretty packed.

I recently discovered Mangonada, and I’m upset I haven’t tried it before! The first time I tried it, was at Magic Cup all the way in Dallas. I’m so happy I’ve found a new spot in Arlington.
Paleteria El Kiosko, is a great place to come if you’re craving Mexican candies/​desserts. They have ice cream, candies by the register, and much more! It’s all very affordable as well, which is great for broke college students like me.
I went at 9 PM and it was packed! The line was past the door, it was crazy!
You have to keep in mind that it’s cash only!

Want to add some extra sugar for the day? This is the right place to come! There was a line to the door when we came on a Sunday afternoon which meant it had to be good. The menu is written in Spanish but there are some English translation below the words. In addition, it is cash only so make sure you run to the ATM prior. I love Mexican desserts including the mango candy, flan, horchata, chips, and so forth. This place had all of these so there was more than plenty of options for us to choose from. We ended up ordering volcan, ice cream, drinks, and flan.
The Volcan or the mango-​spicy-​drink was very good! If you ever had the mango lollipop usually at Mexican markets, that was what was wrapped around the straw dipped inside a mango slush. I was really full from eating 10 min prior so I ended up sharing that drink. But one per person sounds about right. We had two ice creams, coconut and strawberry. I prefer the coconut one for taste and how soft it was. One of the drinks we ordered was the horchata which was rice milk and cinnamon. I prefer that drink more than the other one (I believe it was strawberry). Both drinks come out in this massive cup so you might want to share that.
Overall, the volcan was my favorite thing from the list of food we got. It is their most popular item so you will see almost everyone with the drink. If you happen to be in the area, deffinitely come check this place out!

Must try! They use real fruits here. A little bit of a language barrier but you can point. They have some pictures so it was helpful. Come if you want to experience something different and out of your comfort zone!

Best place for mangonada! Cash only so be warned! Can’t wait to come back and try the other menu items!

It was my first time here and I had a lot of my friends post pictures of a volcan which is like a mango smoothie with some chamoy and mango chunks. And boy it did not disappoint me at all it was so good and refreshing! I just wish there was one closer to where I’m at!

One day my wife came home with a weird drink. She kept bugging me all night to give it a try. I finally did after she drank most of it. O. M. G. BEST. SMOOTHIE. EVER. Needless to say the rest of it was mine.
You come here for the Volcan because you need the Volcan in your life. It is the greatest smoothie I’ve ever had made with mangos, tamerand swirl and big chunks of mangos on top. The straw even has tamerand candy wrapped around it. What?! Even the straw adds to the flavor of the drink.
Your only regret will be not buying a second one when your straw makes the noise letting you know your cup is empty.

I visited this place 3 times before it was actually open. Sheesh.
This place is packed on Saturdays. The store itself is fairly small and it gets warm with all of the elote and other food being cooked. I waited in line for close to 10 – 15 minutes just to order a drink. The chamango was fairly tasty, but a bit overpriced if you ask me. $ 5 for a mango smoothie with lots of chamoy sauce? While their food is probably good, the hit or miss schedule and higher prices are a bit of a turn off. I will try this place again another time to see if it’s truly worth the hype.

My friends love getting their chamango fix here, and I have to admit that it’s pretty good. A small runs a little over $ 4, and was more than I would want, so I shared one, but then again, I’m not as big of a fan as some of my friends are who probably would finish a large by themselves lol. It’s basically a mango slushie/​Hawaiian ice with Chamoy sauce and a tamarind chili straw topped with perfectly ripened and sweet mango cubes. It’s quite refreshing, but I personally thought mine had much too much chamoy sauce. I never hear other people complaining about this problem though. After discovering this place, my friends came back 4 times in less than 2 weeks…
I also saw them sell ice cream bars and scoops. I didn’t get a chance to fully explore their menu, but I did see a warmer with nacho chips in it…

I adore hole in the wall places so much. Paleteria El Kiosko is the epitome of a hole in the wall with their cash only sign and their entire menu in spanish.
The mangonada is refreshing and tangy. The elotes was creamy. Serving sizes are huge and for two orders of elotes and a mangonada it’ll cost you right under $ 11. Honestly, the portions are so big I would have been ok with sharing both items.
Palteria El Kiosko is definitely worth trying, but it’s a place that I wouldn’t return to.
