I highly recommend the Thai tea! I am a Thai tea fanatic but every place I go the tea tastes like a cup of pure sugar. NOT here, here I get the most perfect Thai tea ever. It has the perfect blend of sugar and creaminess. The boba is perfectly done, not too mushy like a ton of other places I have been. My 6 year old son and I were here a few weeks ago and he had a piece of cheesecake. I took a bite just to try and had to get a piece of my own. I’m not sure if they buy it or make it but its the best cheesecake I have ever had.

Small mom and pop shop with delicious boba!!! I ordered a large strawberry, mango, and passion fruit green tea with pearls. Very delicious! I came back two days in a row. :) Convenient parking, no cash minimum, and they serve food too. Service was friendly and prompt. Just wish I lived in Grand Rapids so I could have some more café boba!

They’re known for boba tea, but they also offer smoothies, coffee and Italian sodas. Being my first time in, I was unsure how to craft an appropriate and tasty boba tea so I asked for advice. The staff was great, and patient, eventually steering me towards their milk tea(soy and almond milk are offered as alternatives) with traditional black tapioca bobas. It was different. Not bad. Just sort of a strange sensation if you’ve never had boba tea before because you’ll be sucking up squishy, sweet balls of tapioca with each sip of milky tea. I didn’t find the tea strong enough for my liking, but I enjoyed my time here. It’s quite and there’s plenty of seating and parking.

While visiting Grand Rapids for the weekend, we had a few hours to kill tonight while waiting for a friend so we thought we search for places with board games. This led us to search for bubble tea places, which brought us here. We had a standard milk tea with pearls. The tea was fresh tasting and the pearls were a good consistency! There were quite a few board and card games to choose from. They also have video games to play if you ask. We weren’t hungry, but we did notice they sold 饺子 and(Chinese and Korean dumplings) which would be worth trying. There were not many people in the shop and it was rather quiet without any music playing in the background. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll stop in again!

I love boba tea and smoothies, and was excited to find this little gem so close to home. The avocado smoothie is so fresh and really tastes like avocado, but so smooth, sweet, and creamy– highly recommend. My favorite is the black milk tea with almond and black boba; such a tasty rush of caffeine! Café Boba also has an assortment of tasty snacks, including a few simple sushi rolls and dumplings, which my sister and I enjoyed very much. It’s a very casual and relaxed atmosphere where one can play games and chat, and it’s never excessively packed. The service is prompt and the one girl behind the counter that I have always had is always willing to answer questions if you’re not sure what something is. If you’re into boba or just like delicious coffee, tea or smoothies, Café Boba is worth checking out.

Taro was super light, like water. I do not recommend this place.

We came here shortly after dinner because we were ecstatic to find a boba tea place to try! I ordered a taro smoothie with tapioca pearls and my little brother got a green apple smoothie with strawberry popping bubbles. Stuck the straw in and I had such a hard time getting just ONE sip! Swirled it around with my straw and I got things sorta rolling and things got done rolling after the first few sips. There was no strong taste of taro. All you got was a small hint of it and it just didn’t cut it. Not to mention, the smoothie was blended with too much ice and not enough juice/milk/etc. I hate drinking a smoothie and after a sip or two, all you’re left with is the chunk of ice, waiting for it to melt so you can sip some more! The flip side of the drink itself are the pearls. If you love gummy bears, you will surely love tapioca pearls and this boba café, puts a lot of it in your boba tea! I think I would only come back here if two things were to happen… Not being able to find another boba tea joint and if I’m really craving for it.

Best place for boba tea in west Michigan(heck the only place worth mentioning). I’m from CA where there is a wealth of boba places and this stands to compare! Thank you so much for satisfying my cravings!

Great place in Grand Rapids for bubble tea, hell maybe the only place. Authentic teas and a large variety. Not a long wait and well worth investigating.

I come to Michigan every year and this is the one place I go to all the time when I am here! It’s awesome! Great food and great boba. You can even play games while drinking your boba! You should definitely come.

There are very few places with all the boba shop trimming like this place anywhere in west michigan. I love all the variety they offer and their price is reasonable. I’m from California where finding a boba shop is not a rarity like it is here and I must say its pretty darn good for what it is. Nothing has compared as close to the shops in Cali but this is pretty close. I do recommended this place if you’re looking for a nice cold dessert drink.

Bless this place. I lived in Irvine, CA where I wouldn’t have to go to far for boba. Lollicup, Tapioca Express, or Class 302 was within walking distance… and I had roommates who worked at boba joints. So yes, I would call myself a boba enthusiast and know what I’m talking about. After moving to Holland, MI I figured one day I would eventually travel far to satisfy my craving for tapioca pearls. From the research I did this is the only place DEDICATED to boba teas within a 30 mile raidus from me. The place is clean. There are booths and a few entertainment systems(rockband/guitar hero and board games). I’m used to going to places like these and it being crowded, but I was so thankful there weren’t any youths around… the person at the counter had no problem making all(5 drinks and 2 food) orders. But on that note, price is reasonable for what you’re paying for. The menu option’s alright. There weren’t too much milk tea choices, but they’re able to mix up regular teas(black/green lychee tea for the win) which is a good plus for anyone running a tea bar. BUTBOBAQUALITYIS A+ They’ve got stamp cards, too so if you’re planning on visiting frequently pick one up.

Their bobas aren’t the best but, but their drinks seems to be improving. :) I like that you can choose different flavors for your smoothie drinks! I’d recommend the strawberry-lychee combo. For tea drinks, I usually get their Thai Tea or black tea Milk Tea. Their tapicoa balls(black boba balls) are usually too soggy for me – usually this happens because its cooked for too long. The interior of the café is bright and lively! I love sitting in the booth areas. There are also free board games to play if you and your friends are into that kinda of fun!
