They did a catered espresso bar for my workplace and everyone was more than impressed. They did an amazing set up and everyone enjoyed sitting around mingling while their individual beverages were being made. Everyone appreciated the afternoon perk and I will gladly invite them back. Their Chai-der is amazing!

Excellent coffee, great service, plenty of place to work, and fast wi-fi. What more could you want from a coffee shop?

Everything about Clique Coffee is wonderful! Make sure to ask for recommendations on the coffee, and don’t miss out on the buttery croissant grilled cheese!

Very open and bright place! Generally quiet and a great place to study. Staff has always been friendly. Food and drink prices are reasonable. They even have a student discount. Their coffee cake muffins are super tasty!

Coffee is good, cupcakes not so great. I bought one of their chocolate, caramel, espresso cupcakes and it had NO espresso flavor what so ever; major let down :’(But over all the place is good.

Clique Coffee Bar isn’t somewhere I’d describe as cozy or overly comfortable for long stays, but it’s functional. The coffee is definitely a step up from your nearby chains and the staff’s super friendly. They do offer a few baked goods: cookies, cupcakes, etc… to pair with your drink, even a few gluten-free options. I’ve had a great cappuccino prepared here along with a couple rather OK drinks. It’s a place to come when you’re on the NE side of town and looking for a better option than your big names dotting Knapp’s Corner.

Ordered the light Ethiopian roast pour over. Very good, light almost like a tea. Caffeine did its job without jitter. Friendly service and a good product. Support local small business.

Smooth cup of coffee, they know how to brew coffee and not over heat it like some places do, and it turns out bitter tasting. Going to try there slow drip next time.

I came here to meet up with a client and enjoyed a lovely cheese sandwich and iced tea. Great atmosphere, competent staff, surprisingly good food. The noise level was low, making this a very good place to do business. This is a clean, well lit environment with a clean women’s restroom and(from what one can see from in front of the counter) a clean kitchen too. What I found slightly on the down side was that as a non-local, I had to depend on GPS to find it and it is NOT right off the street. Rather, it is nestled inside a mini-mall and takes a bit of searching to find. What would be helpful is having a large street-side sign indicating where to turn-in to get to it. I’m sure this venue would earn more traffic with such a minor addition.

Clean, bright coffee shop located in a strip mall off of Beltline. Windows line one entire wall, so it made it feel more open. Lots of seating, including booths, large tables, and was very spacious. I didn’t feel like I was sitting on top of people unlike some other coffee shops. The music wasn’t too loud either! The barista was friendly, but got a little bogged down at times when they got busy because she was the only one working there. My latte was delish and the iced coffee was equally as good. Like most small coffee shops, they are a bit pricy, especially the food. My small latte was $ 3.25& the iced coffee was $ 3.75. I’ll definitely return since the atmosphere was less hectic than Starbucks!

Fitting name for a place owned by a snobbish curmudgeon that does not make customers feel welcome unless your his«friend». No political free speech allowed unless the«east coast,» NY type snobs agree with your opinion. If you like good coffee and a «Greenwich Village» type place filled with young people, you will be welcome. If you prefer good«down home» GR style friendly conservative environs, stay away from this place.

Excellent coffee. Smooth, silky cappuccino. Not harsh and the milk was nice and frothy. Nice work!

This place is really hip and its a little hidden but it’s pretty good. The servers are really good and know their stuff about coffee, it takes a little extra time but because they pour over the coffee. They weigh the beans first and everything so yea they are super efficient. The servers are really nice the only reason I gave 4 and not 5 is because it’s kinda expensive

Great place for those of us who enjoy a legit coffee place and need to login some laptop time. Their coffee is good and they know what a cortado is. The service was good and I love that their WiFi pass is «starbucks». They are also about the only good coffee place on the north betline & Knapp area. The décor is a bit basic with 4 toppers and booths for folks. They even have breakfast sandwiches and some pastries.

Located near Meijer Gardens(making it a convenient stop for me), Clique is spacious, well lit and clean. The guy behind the counter was friendly and nice, although because he was the only one working, it did take a long time to make our drinks. My friend had never had a pour-over before, but she loved it. I’d requested an iced mocha; am not 100% that’s what I got, as it tasted a bit more like a latte, but is was outstanding — great espresso taste. The big locally-baked cookies were a big hit with both my nephew and me(yay, gluten-free version!). On a Saturday afternoon it was quiet, so it seems this would be a good spot for reading/working/studying. I’ll definitely find reason to return, as the drinks were very good.

The person who served us was friendly and explained how they made the art in the coffee. He was helpful and the environment seemed great. Nice calm place to chat with someone.

The staff greeted us warmly, the baristas were knowledgeable about the drink offerings and prepared them well, and we were asked about our experience before we left. It was apparent that they cared about our perception of their service — and it paid off because we were happy! The drink was a delicious tea latte; I have yet to try an espresso drink but will be back soon to do so. The environment was comfortable and welcoming; not particularly quiet when we were there but a nice café feeling nonetheless.

Good thing I came in on lunch when I had alittle time– my drink order of the Mad hatter took about 10 minutes to make. I’m all for crafted drinks but its not exactly swift service either. However, when it arrived it was good; a really inventive drink with vanilla flavor, almond milk and chai. It looks businessy here with a few people on laptops and a simple beige color scheme. No comfy couches or oversized seating which I was looking for today. Even with the wait on my drink, the staff was eager to help and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a nice option for a local coffee or a place to work from on this side of town.

If you live or work near north beltline and love good espresso, you have had the mediocre choices of Sarbucks and Bigby. All that has changed now that Clique has opened. Finally good coffe in NEGR. Located in strip center next to Twisted Rooster, this espresso bar is the real deal. If you frequent the North Beltline and long for a great espresso drink similar to Madcap or Rowsters but don’t want to do the long drive downtown, Clique has solved your problem. These guys brew a good espresso drink with proper crema. Beans come form the renown Uncommon Ground in Saugatuck. Overall, this espresso bar is among the top 4 in GR for quality. The ambience is modern and clean in the Scandinavian sense. Good place OT read or work. Love the long hours but notice they are now closing earlier.
