Friendly service, kept coming back to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything.
Sunday has $ 1 slider specials. I tried the hamburger, pulled pork & pulled chicken. The hamburger was ok — really liked the pork & chicken, chicken being my favorite. The fries were really good too — very good potato flavor. Tater tots are good & crispy too. I tried one of the broccoli cheddar bites and really liked it — I think next time I will get an order. They also have deep friend twinkies — they were out unfortunately but that just means I will just have to go again so I can try it!

We were looking for a few beers and some pool. This place did the job. The music mix was right up my alley, from 90s rap/​hip hop to 70s to current. The pool table area did get a little tight as it got later but everyone was willing to move for us To make a shot. I would come back!

Cheap drinks. Decent food. Golden Tee. All the makings of a nice dive. Worth the trip if you’re looking for all the above.

Meh. This place kindof sucks considering all the good places you could go in Grand Rapids.
The whole vibe was very white trash and bro-​like. Not a good place for a group of just girls to hang out. The sign on the door as you walk in gives a very uncomfortable vibe even upon entry. It is clear they have a specific clientele they would like. The beer glasses are terrible for beer and come chilled. Don’t expect your beer to keep it flavor and life. The bar service was slow and the food was slower.
If you’re in the mood for cheap, flat beer, mediocre bar food, slow drink service, a white trash vibe, and even slower food service, this is for sure your place.
I suggest going to El Barrio if you are in the area and need a bite to eat or some booze.

The service was disappointing, was condensing & our table saw him talking about us across the bar. Go here if you want a cool vibe with self serving service.

Good place to grab a quick beer and bite. I don’t usually stay too late as the place usually becomes D-​bag central after 9pm. Service is usually pretty good especially if you sit at the bar and the prices aren’t bad either

Sally and here friends have been meeting here from time to time ever since they opened. I stopped for a happy hour visit with a large group of friends. Wow! This is a great place, drink specials, great food and super friendly service. The server asked my name when she opened my tab and then addressed me by name every time she spoke with me from that point on!!! I have NEVER had that happen before, SUPERWOMAN! I honestly think our server was about the best I have seen in a bar/​grill setting.
We were treated to a «training mistake» nacho plate from the kitchen that got our appetites piqued.
The food was sandwiches and snacks but very good. All of our orders were served piping hot and as ordered. Not one order error to our large group. I was impressed with the quality of the food from a small bar kitchen.
I have to mention their «tater tots» as an option for fries. Don’t miss these, they are amazing.
Now the down side, parking. There are five bars within a block and the very small lot can’t cover the need for parking spots. We are spoiled, unlike Chicago and other places we expect to be able to park within steps of our destination. You may find that you need to walk a block or so but Farah’s is worth it.

Always make it down here when I’m in town. Clean bar with a good crowd and atmosphere. Drinks are well made, and to my surprise, food is great sober which makes amazing drunk food, lol. The wings here were the biggest shocker.
Owner is a nice guy who cares about his business and it shows. Wait staff are friendly without being over bearing.
I would recommend to any one.

Terrific neighborhood bar. Great owner, good service and good food. It is nothing fancy but a fun place to hang out and actually be able to hold a conversation.

I love this place! Strong drinks at cheep prices, friendly wait staff and a fun atmosphere. The food is good as well, very good pulled pork sliders!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, had a turkey Reuben, it was good. great atmosphere and friendly staff. Saw great happy hour specials on the board and think I should plan to visit again after work.
They also accommodate phone and fax orders for quick pick up. Just east of College/​Michigan intersection, close to the medical mile.
