Food:
I ordered pizza and bread sticks to be delivered to my hotel and did not know what to expect. I’m only in Grand Rapids temporarily and just ordered from Vitale’s because it was close to my hotel and offered a Chicago style pizza and cheesy breadsticks. I ordered my pizza with Sausage and Mushrooms. My pizza had very little sauce, and was slightly over cooked, however the cheese didn’t seem to be completely melted. It was a very dark brown on the bottom, and the mushrooms had an odd texture. The breadsticks where good.
Service:
The person who took my order over the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions accurately, I did ask for plates and napkins however the delivery person said they didn’t have knowledge of my request. My pizza arrived in about 35mins which was within the expected time he had given me. The person who delivered my pizza was also very friendly.
I just wouldn’t order from here again, or suggest it to anyone I know.

Great quick lunch buffet, we stop in about once a month. It isn’t big or fancy, there is always a calzone and some bread sticks and two pizzas. The topping vary and are always great! It isn’t fancy but it’s quick and good!

My girlfriends and I had a garage sale last weekend. We decided to order some pizza. I called vitales and the young man that answered the phone (Brandon?)was very friendly and helpful. He helped me chose the best special for my group size and the call was simple and quick.
The delivery guy (James?)was just as pleasant. He brought the food in a reasonable time and was very apologetic when I realized that he forgot the paper plates and napkins I requested on the phone.
We ate the pizza and breadsticks and it was delicious. A little while later, to my surprise the driver showed back up with the missing plates/napkins and a free dessert for the hassle! It was a great experience, the two guys that helped me were awesome and I’ll be eating Vitale pizza again for sure!

An authentic meatball sub, finally. Perfect amount of sauce, to meatball, to cheese ratio and toasted just right goes a long way with my taste buds. $ 4.99 for a sub and drink meshes just right with my wallet as well. Nice and fresh ingredients and was ready very quick.
I’m not too worried about the seating unless you are coming in with a group of more than 6 and you have to sit together. Perfect takeout and delivery option in the area, the meatball sub will remain in my rotation for sometime and even though the pizza buffet didn’t look out of this world for $ 4.99 I’d give it a shot if I were you.

This place is super cheap and great pizza.
At lunch they have a pizza buffet that doesn’t have a huge selection but decent amount with great quality.
It is not like a mass produced pizza place but they are fairly quick.
The one big downfall I would say about this place is that there isn’t a lot of room to sit. I’d say there is about 10 tables or less?
The staff is friendly and if I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular customer.
I highly recommend this place.
