Watched the MSU game against Michigan whilst eating this pizza. The pizza was delicious, and must have been lucky too as we won ;). The green olives were scrumptious, the pizza stayed warm and it was well made(not too greasy or anything). Perfect all the way though. Will be back.

Got the meatball sub, which was delicious! The pie was lackluster… Not enough sauce, crust was mediocre. I would other subs from here, but not the pie.

I had a late night hankering for Pizza, so we dialed up the closest pizza joint recommended by Unilocal and I’m again not disappointed. A friend picked it up, so I can’t comment on the location, but the pizza was done in a timely manner, it didn’t soak through the box with grease, and it was very reasonably priced. They had a special on Unilocal for a 2 topping xlarge pizza that was very advantageous. The pizza was as ordered with thin crust and ample ham and mushrooms. The sauce was slightly herby and spicy and not at all sweet like way too many places. The cheese was also abundant and roasty. My biggest complaint is that they didn’t use fresh mushrooms. Why do places insist on using those nasty canned ones?

This is the best pizza you can find ANYWHERE. I have had pizza from the west coast to Chicago to NYC, and this, by far, is my favorite of all time. Their sauce cannot be beat and the ingredients are the best around. If the owner Mike or his brother Tom are there, be sure to say hi. They are some of the best people you will ever meet and really care that you get the best product for your money. Also, if you have not tried their wet burrito, look in the mirror and punch yourself in the face right now. I no longer live in the area and I cannot, no matter how hard I look, find anything that comes close to it. I’m not sure why, but so many places in the country just don’t have a true«wet burrito.» This one is top shelf and one of the BEST you will ever have. If you have eaten here before, you know what a good place this is. If you have not, do yourself a favor and pick up the phone now and get some of the best food you will ever have. The wheels they turn out of there are second to none. This is truly a gem of a find for anyone and a place I sincerely miss!

This has to be some of my favorite pizza in Grand Rapids. They’ve been around forever. Their crust is what really gets me. It’s the perfect thickness and hearth baked. with just the right amount of chewiness to it. Fantastic bread sticks as well.

Very good pizza. Not gourmet, but an artisan crust and overall good quality. Not heavy on the sauce, generous on the toppings, and a nice chewy, home-made crust. And, I didn’t consider it greasy like a previous reviewer. My main complaint: The value. We got an extra large and it really wasn’t enough for 5 people. 8 slices which is less than 2 apiece. And the cost was $ 20. I like supporting local establishments and trying something different but if there are 5 of us next time we visit the area; I’ll order 2 large Pizza Hut pies for the same cost and have pizza to spare.

I miss Mancino’s Grinders real bad in the West Michigan area… Subway just isn’t cutting it anymore. I tried Russo’s today for lunch and I’m still on the hunt. It was good and I’ll go back since its close. It needed a bit more sauce for me and for I can get a $ 612 inch sub anywhere, Russo’s didn’t make it special like I’d expect a local business to do. I’ll be back to try the pizza and probably try the FourSquare check in and receive 50% your pizza deal. So stay tuned to see how that goes. Sidenote: Even though they had seating there I wouldn’t eat there unless you had to. Just didn’t seem like a nice place to sit and eat, just grand your grub and be on your way.
