White mocha was okay. Service was terrible. The bitter blonde woman ruined the entire experience.

Came in with about 2 minutes before they closed. Thanks for that by the way, most places would be rushing to get you out these guys were welcoming and handed me some delicious coffee. Stayed outside and people watched as the GR Latino festival was going down at the park. The atmosphere is relaxing and many things to see and interact with. The gold fish tank in the back could use a little cleaning :(but otherwise the place is beyond nice and wonderful.

Me and my friends snuck in 2 mins before they closed. They were so welcoming and did not make us feel rushed at all. They helped me with my choice since it was my first time at this location. I could feel the love that went into making my coffee. It was a different environment compared to the other coffee shops I have visited. The art that’s posted around are a nice detail and I loved that they had a little fish tank in the back. I look forward to going back and trying more from them.

I finally got an opportunity to make it out to Grand Rapids this weekend and wish my hubs and I got to spent more time there. Anywho, we stopped in at WCC and watched the St. Patty’s Day Parade, while I ordered and enjoyed a latte. I did a little research on Unilocal, prior to heading out to GR and saw Unilocalers recommending the Fuzzy Bear, so I ordered a medium FB. I never and still don’t understand why coffee shops refuse to sell certain drinks in a small(yes, I know… because they want to rip, I mean make more profit). The cashier and owners were nice and friendly, but I wish I would’ve just bought juice or even a water bottle. A medium FB cost $ 4.25(tax included) and to be honest, it tasted like a light latte. I was told that a FB is a latte with honey, cinnamon, and almond and personal, I couldn’t taste anything but cinnamon. This is a really cute coffee shop that offers gifts you can buy for yourself or others and there are local art pieces on the walls(for sale). There is also seating along the wall, at the front part of the store. I probably won’t be back, mainly because I’m not from GR area and would love to check out other coffee shops in the area.

Came into this place during ArtPrize for a breve. There was plenty of space for the art to be displayed here on the walls since the building is deep. The couple working the counter where quite busy but still had smiles to share. My breve was made very well. Strong in flavor without being too much. It tasted like fresh roasted beans were used to make it. The small size cost around $ 4 which I would consider high and my only complaint about the place. West Coast is nicely located downtown in the center of the center. Parking can be rough as meters on the street are enforced beyond the usual hours. So read carefully.

This is the flagship of coffee shops. First, excellent coffee and they know how to conjure up some amazing drinks. Fee WiFi. Friendly people.

Decided to try West Coast Coffee house for the first time today to get some work done. Coffee was excellent and so was the service. The seating is somewhat limited, they have a lot of counter seating and I prefer tables. Parking can also be a challenge. If you get a parking spot on monroe, the meters will only allow you to put in enough change for one hour at a time. Not my favorite coffee house, but I will return to mix it up from time to time.

Fabulous place. I discovered it for the first time today and was very impressed by the service and quality of my latte. There were two very nice, polite, considerate, and quick older people working behind the counter. Very personable, and the ambiance of the café is absolutely wonderful. Free wifi, plenty of counter space and outlets for your laptop charger. I’ll definitely be returning!

Absolutely love this place! Not only does it have a great ambience but it’s also quiet enough to just relax, read and even study. Also the chai is one is the best I’ve had around the city.
