Nice place, really friendly and good looking bartender. $ 4 glass of IPA isn’t too bad. Really glad I stopped by and will probably stop by again before I leave town. No spirits here but I am a beer man anyway. Would recommend…

The Alibi Tavern is just the Alibi Tavern now. Peter, the owner, moved A Taste of China down to A Street about three years ago. The Alibi serves $ 2.00 pints of Amber Bock in very frosty mugs. They have other beers too but I don’t drink those! Wine is available, as are Mimosas and Henry Weinhards Orange Cream Soda, and yes, I’ve had a bottle or two of that! Two pool tables. Elena will put the Giants game on if you ask her nice (5 Stars for Elena, always!). I drank a few of those frosty pints last night while watching my beloved Giants at Chavez Ravine. Poker machines and OR Lottery games for those who like to give their money away. This is a 3 Star Bar with a 5 Star server, thus 4 Stars.
