I went to Goodness Gracious restaurant in Grants Pass 4÷28÷15 for the first time and paid with my ATM. It pre-​authorized for more than I remembered. I had a funny feeling and wanted to see my signature and verify that the amount had not been altered. I could be wrong, I just wanted to check.
5÷1÷15 I went in and spoke with the «owner» and asked to see the receipt.
This turned into a huge ordeal. I won’t get into the details now, however I found her to be very defensive and turning a little hostile. Wouldn’t the owner of a business want to know if there was something wrong? She did not or would not produced the receipt.
That night I checked on-​line and found it actually cleared for another dollar, two dollars more than I remembered. Obviously it is not about the money. I am dumb founded that an owner of an establishment would behave this way. This should have been no big deal.
