Enjoyed the variety of the buffet very much. Has everything your typical Chinese food buffet has, but the addition of the wide variety of sushi was a big plus. Would definitely return…

I really enjoy this place and go atleast once a week. What a treat to have an all you can eat sushi restaurant in our little town. The sushi chefs will happily make you special rolls upon request. Always a unique selection running around in the boats. It is not super high end sushi that’s 8 – 10 dollars a roll, theres other places for that. Its well made, fast and friendly service, great choices for a buffet while being affordable!

It was decent. Best time to go is at noon on a weekday You know the sushi is fresh because they’re busiest during their lunch hour.

Do not eat the«warm» food. I only eat sushi here. The food that is kept warm is not kept at safe temperatures. My daughter and i tried the«warm» food a couple of times and both times we got very sick! But I’m giving two stars only because i love the sushi.

My two friends and i walked in a couple minutes before lunch time and charged us for dinner. When we pointed this out, the staff started treating us as if we were going to bail out on the bill. The whole time they were staring at us. Even to the point that one of their staff members sat across from us at the sushi bar facing us. When we received the bill it stated that the time we were placed sitting was at 3: 26pm and the excuse they came up with was that their computer was behind 10 minutes so we had to pay dinner price. We ended up paying dinner cause we were just aggravated and wanted to leave. We went to the bathroom and saw one of their employees go into the bathroom with their apron to use the facility… I don’t know about you, but I found that very disgusting and unsanitary.

If you want sushi that looks like it came up someone else’s plate or quite possibly the chef just tore it with a fork this is the place for you

My husband and I go here before 3 so we get the lunch price at 8.99 $ all you can eat. For 9 $ dollars it’s delicious! I usually get a mixture of hot food and sushi. I take a plate and get very small nibbles of each thing so I know what I want more of or what is not my thing. For all the clueless people who say, «this isn’t good sushi, I’m from California where they have good sushi,» this isn’t necessarily a sushi place. They have to make it quick and for the 9 dollar price tag what the hell do you expect? Is there better sushi elsewhere? Yes. Are you getting what you paid for? Yes. Would I spend more than 10 $ dollars per person? Probably not. If you want $ 15 dollar sushi rolls go somewhere else– give me a break. They were out of the sesame balls on the sushi boats so I asked if they could make more. They quickly made more and were nice and hot for me! Delicious and very nice of them to make them on the spot and quick! Good atmosphere, always a bunch of people there when I go and it isn’t loud! My husband and I enjoy it :)

It may be O.K. if you like Sushi(bait). I don’t. I went with some friends to try the buffet. It was terrible. Pot Stickers were hard around the edges, very little offerings at the salad bar. The shrimp at the salad bar was not peeled, probably so customers would not take very much. I had some Peking Chicken that was very dry and full of soy sauce. Most offerings on the buffet were not very good. At a «seniors.» cost of almost $ 14.00 per person plus drinks this place is a rip off. There are at least two Japanese restaurants in Grants Pass that are much better and more reasonable plus you can order from a menu. I shall not return!

My husband and I were in grants pass celebrating his graduation and decided to try this place for lunch, we were both honestly a little skeptical about how the food would be since the price was so low and it was all you can eat sushi but decided to give it a try. So glad we did! I’m a sushi snob and I loved it!!! We sat at the bar and the chef was always making new rolls so there was a lot of choice and nothing looked like it sat for long. It tasted amazing! Fresh and he would come by us from time to time to ask if we wanted anything special. The food was so good that we went there for lunch again the next day, and it was just as good so not a fluke. My husband ate the sushi and tried the Chinese buffet as well, he said everything tastes good but honestly I just stayed by the sushi and gorged. Going here again in a few days when we pass through on our way to visit the in laws, probably will stop by again on the way home too

If you want sushi that is being rushed… you can go here… They serve the sushi on a floating boat. The sushi chefs have to hurry roll their sushies that makes all the rice in the roll very loose… though i love that seaweeds. my hubby found it pretty gross coz it taste very fishy. I hate the buffet its very greasy. None of the worker there spoke decent english. hard to communicate. Price tells you all.

I absolutely love the variety and cuisine that is served here for a very fair Buffet price. The Sushi passes you by on little boats in water surrounding the Sushi bar. The staff does a great job tending to you and being very courteous.

Not very fresh. Most was over cooked .very limited sushi. not much service. squid and octopus were very tough. The seaweed salad had a strange flavor and was mushy. There was a strange film on the cake.

Limited sushi selection. Boat river was pretty neat. Mongolian Bar-b-q was decent and the actual buffet was better than most Chinese buffets I’ve been to. I felt the staff was a bit push to get you out of there and not let you enjoy your meal.

My husband and I very much enjoy this restaurant! The sushi is always fresh every time we go and the staff is always so nice(even if they do speak very little English). The buffet does have a nice selection, but it is not always stocked which is the only downfall. They also have a section where you are able to choose what you want cooked with what sauce you like and they cook it all together right in front of you. The sushi river is pretty pleasing to the eye as well! If you are not able to swoop something up before it passes you by, the sushi chef asks you which one you wanted and he will get it for you so you do not have to wait until it comes around again lol. The overall environment is quite relaxing also. As soon as you walk in and someone greets you, they ask if you would rather sit at the sushi bar or a table. The wait staff is very timely and polite. You are never left sitting there wondering where your waiter/waitress is and when they do come around you don’t have to worry about them either wanting to chat for twenty minutes or being rude because you asked for something.

This is a very nice, clean place, but the food needs More spice. All the chicken dishes are made with boneless thigh meat/dark meat, so they need to compensate for the stronger dark meat flavor with more spices. Everything I tried was lacking in garlic, ginger, and seasoning! The Salad bar needs more fresh veggies, like red onion, cucumbers, carrots and so on. This could be a real hot spot if they wouldn’t skimp on the flavor and use some white meat in some of the chicken dishes otherwise they all kind of taste the same. Dinner is too expensive. $ 14.00 for adults. I know it’s because they put out crab legs and such, but I don’t eat that stuff.

This place is one of the worst sushi places I have been to! The food(other than the sushi) was cold and basically inedible. The sushi was old and most of the were slimy. I was thankful that I didn’t end up getting sick!

HORRIBLE!!! This word does not even begin to describe this place. I have an open mind and am willing to try anything twice and gave this place 4 opportunities in which they fail every time. Cold food in the hot trays, horrible service, the smell of bad fish and the aftermath which will leave your stomach in shambles. Seafood in Grants Pass or any inland town/city is questionable and it is apparent here. Also highly expensive but in a town of gluttons I can see why they like it. $ 15 and all you can eat of the worst Chinese food and Sushi. All that’s ever in there is fat people acting as if they are at their last supper. If your looking for better sushi may I suggest: Umi Sushi or G Street Sushi but they are not buffets, Sorry Gluttons

Ouuuuiiii the food is bad… came with a friend that lives in Grants pass who sold me on the«value» lol. Geez where do i start, i’d say its like panda express’s mentally challenged cousin making stale food. Also the sushi is very questionable, i found myself wondering why does this salmon have no color to it, it’s almost grey. Plus there was a lot of mayo and cream cheese in the rolls. I’ll admit I live in the SF bay area which has an abundance of good Chinese and Japanese restaurants at which i’m spoiled, but I can’t recall a point in my life where i’d have thought this food was good. If you do find yourself here, stick to the hot an sour soup and probably the fried stuff.
