Tasty’s Sam’ich’s

The service was good, the food eh… I paid almost $ 30 for a pastrami sandwich and 2 pulled pork sandwich’s. This also came with a side of Cole slaw and mac and cheese. I felt the quality of food was not as great as I would of liked it to be. On the pulled pork sandwich’s the bread was soggy from the coleslaw. The coleslaw was watery. The meat had hardly any sauce on it. I’m used to pulled pork sandwich Ive gotten else where being loaded with BBQ sauce. The meat was good it was just plain. The macaroni sauce was not cheesy at all it didn’t even taste like cheese, just tasted kind of like powdery water. Overall the customer service was good, but the food was not very good. If they choose to consider some changes I may consider eating there again and telling people to go there. I really am not trying to dis them, just a little of constructive criticism.

I feel that the owner of this business has constantly been verbally abusive towards potential customers via his alter ego on local Facebook chat pages when he advertises. He is well known for making verbal threats towards people online and the local newspaper even did a story about his online rant. I have heard about this constantly online in the past few months. At one point he bashed Military Veterans which was very un-​cool. He has some serious issues in his advertising and enticing new customers. And for that reason I feel unsafe visiting his business. I hear the sandwiches are good, but a sandwich is not worth the environment you may put yourself in. This is my personal opinion. I think the food is sub par and costly. The customer service is seriously lacking.

Excellent pastrami sandwich and perhaps even better burning bush soup. Good service. I will be back often.

I was pleasantly surprised my pastrami sandwich was excellent! No grease no fat super lean and tasty. The owner is just a really nice guy, eager to please, we’ll definitely be back!

Sam-​ich really scratched my itch for a tasty lunch. We had beef dip sandwiches which were pretty good. No over abundance of meat but the flavor was great. Do try the shut up sauce. It’s not that hot. Whoever did the interior design needs to be drawn and quartered. Looks like the place was decorated from the discount rack of a local thrift store.

I’m rating this place 3 stars because the guy behind the counter is very nice, but I didn’t really care for the sandwich I had. They seem to be pretty new, so probably they will get the kinks worked out in time.
